Reverend Ben Cooper:

Hello, and welcome to Elim church swanley, you're joining myself, Reverend Ben Cooper for today's podcast. Yeah, good morning. Thank you for joining us. Wherever you are today, we just ask that God will bless you and strengthen you and guide you in these days that we are alive. And as we walk the earth at this very moment, and as we seek God like never before with we call on his glorious and his most powerful name at the name of Jesus, every knee shall bow on the familia, fruity of every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. Good morning, we thank you for all your lives. And as we gather around the mics, and as we just rest, and as we be still, as we focus on the Word of God, and we got Simon with us today, it's hashtag Christian straight talk, and we're straight down the barrel of truth. And over the last few weeks, we have felt a real heavy stirring of the Holy Spirit, guiding us into more truth. And we just want to go deeper today, Simon, good morning.

Simon Pinchbeck:

Good morning, Ben. It's great. It's great to be back with you. here in swanley, you're in a bit of a change around things get rid of all the old stuff and

Reverend Ben Cooper:

sweep through

Simon Pinchbeck:

Yeah, I'm gonna sweep for

Reverend Ben Cooper:

getting the yeast out.

Simon Pinchbeck:

And funny enough, think thats where the Lord has taken us

Reverend Ben Cooper:

he certainly is

Simon Pinchbeck:

hes sweeping through he sweeping all the old nonsense Ben, which really, as we were saying before, in the preamble, is meaningless. And

Reverend Ben Cooper:

it really is meaningless. Yeah, you're right

Simon Pinchbeck:

stuff that were involved with stuff that we've looked for was priority.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Yep.

Simon Pinchbeck:

nonsense.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Yeah, we're, we're having a bit of work done. But we got to go through every room in this house at the moment. And although it's a practical exercise, it feels like a spiritual exercise as well, because we're going through the cupboards. We're going through every area of this church, when it's like we're sweeping right away for anything. You know, what it needs to be done in every church has spiritual sweep through because the church is holding on to stuff that doesn't really need

Simon Pinchbeck:

open the title of today's today's talk, nice podcast for hashtag Christine's Straight Talk. It's the wolf. Is that a door open? And really,

Reverend Ben Cooper:

wow,

Simon Pinchbeck:

there's a pack of wolves at the door. And they're all over the place. But was it yesterday or recently you had someone come to the door to you that was searching, searching, and you've knocked it a couple of doors, and he knocked the door shut on his face. So

Reverend Ben Cooper:

he knocks at what we call the high church and the high church closed the door on him and said, No time for you. No room at the inn?

Simon Pinchbeck:

Why what why did they say that? Because he what was his? What was he was, he was an ex offender Ben.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

He was an ex offender. And he was just looking for something to eat was just looking for a place to quickly get washed and dressed so he can move on. And the church will always be the first place to go wouldn't it. But the church

Simon Pinchbeck:

and generally the sad thing is that he probably he probably encountered God in prison, he probably encountered

Reverend Ben Cooper:

through prison fellowship

Simon Pinchbeck:

through prison, even the chapel service.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Yes, he certainly did. And he knew he knew you could you know that he was a believer, so he wasn't being Spun a yarn. And he turned up here, and he had gone down to the high church and the high church turn him away. And which is really, really sad. But actually, it's not because it's just showing us what's really happening around the world. And it's not bigging us up at all whatsoever. But it's just interesting that we've had that bit of feedback. And that's what the church is doing. There's no room at the inn.

Simon Pinchbeck:

There's no room at the inn. Unless, of course, you're a certain type of person.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Yeah, and you've got a few quid in your pocket. And you're going to benefit us from your Gift Aid. Because we'll make 25% out of you.

Simon Pinchbeck:

So we're, we're as much in the world as everyone else.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Were we in brothers and sisters, wherever you are listening to this today. The church within the UK is in a very serious spiritual crisis. It is being led by the government. And what we need is the church to pray God release us from the shackles release us from the shackles that we are entwined and we are engaged in. Because Christ is coming. Christ is coming. We are we are in the end days, the signs are very real. With everything is happening around the world with all the fighting with all the stuff of the world talk about very clearly a global warming, when actually it's just end time stuff, what the weather is doing. We've got the fire in in Afghanistan, you've got all this stuff happening around the world. You know, so we are out the door and the church in the UK. The wolf is at the door.

Simon Pinchbeck:

And it's been in the church, wolf in sheep's clothing has been in the church. Because Ben often, um, you know, I know I'm right in saying that. There's been a separation between the church and state. So yeah, throughout the Western world is no not anymore in governments and the government is looking to control the church and the controller come Yeah, even more as you think Ben as

Reverend Ben Cooper:

i think i think it's it's got a real heavy control on the church. And we must make this very clear, we're not talking about the kingdom of God, we're talking about the religious organization that we see that we that we think is the church that looks like the church. But really, it's not. It's not represent in the face of God, if it was really representing the face of God. For this lockdown, what we would have had is for the power of social media, I really believe or correct me if I'm wrong with So, for the power of social media, we would have seen the leaders of every denomination on their own social media feed without any glorious backdrop of being in their office. And you know, and seeing the wonders where they live in their ivory towers, but literally on the streets are doing, doing a self video and just saying, Come on church, come on the It will be great that that's what we're missing. We are needing we are in need of spiritual leaders. And there are no spiritual leaders at the top, what we have at the top are educators. We have busy business leaders, we have accountants, but what we need is men and women that are highly charged with the Word of God.

Simon Pinchbeck:

I think, you know, Ben, I think you're right, I but I think the Lord's raising up a remnant, I think I praise God does and always has, and I think I think that it's going to come from individuals and maybe in in home churches, I think that those are the big denominations, and often the Lord's

Reverend Ben Cooper:

they're gone. Yeah, that is

Simon Pinchbeck:

the ladies saying Church of the day. Yeah, you know, they're neither hot nor cold and sterile, embracing whatever the government says, whatever the government puts on you. So

Reverend Ben Cooper:

it's all about Gift Aid.

Simon Pinchbeck:

Ben, you and I would like to change very quickly and dramatically, especially fast for Christians. So

Reverend Ben Cooper:

if you are a believer, if you are a true believer in the God of Israel, and you're standing on the word and this says a lot to do with yes or no, we're not living right. But I also believe that God is willing to set your house in order. If you are a believer, a Bible believing believing you're going to be really challenged in these months and these years and the rest of your life on planet Earth, you're going to be challenged. If you are a believer, and that's what Christ said to them. D Do you believe in me? I come on Follow me. We can follow with our we can follow with our with our physicality and our actions, but are we really following him with our heart?

Simon Pinchbeck:

That's a big question. But because we are in the biggest spiritual battle since the cross. And you can you can feel it,

Reverend Ben Cooper:

you can feel it,

Simon Pinchbeck:

you know, and even people that really have no faith, you know, they can feel

Reverend Ben Cooper:

they can sense their

Simon Pinchbeck:

anger on the roads or lawlessness going on.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

But come on Jesus, Jesus, he's moving. He's calling you.

Simon Pinchbeck:

But I think where we're at then is that is that. If you look in Romans one and verse 18, says this, he says, For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who suppress the truth in unrighteousness. Because what may be known of God is manifest to them for God as shown it to them, see, and it goes on from there. But then I really think the wrath of God, God is judging. God is judging this world right now.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Yeah,

Simon Pinchbeck:

right this moment in time. And you know, the country's not the UK, we've held the truth. We've had the truth. The US have had the truth, but rejected, the Bible has now been rejected massively, and the wrath of God is revealed. And there's nothing we can do to stop that.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Yeah. So that's it. Romans eight, sorry, Romans, chapter one, verse 18. Rather, it says, the wrath of God has been revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and the wickedness of people who suppress the truth by their wickedness. Come on. This is a very heavy text, isn't it?

Simon Pinchbeck:

It's huge.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

When you unpack that,

Simon Pinchbeck:

if, if you look at that's the age that we're in, and God

Reverend Ben Cooper:

suppress the truth. So who is suppressing the truth?

Simon Pinchbeck:

Well, it's Yes, the church's

Reverend Ben Cooper:

the church is

Simon Pinchbeck:

not preaching

Reverend Ben Cooper:

this not preaching. So who does that land on it lands on the leaders? it lands on the leaders, so I am what they call a church leader. So I am in a very critical place. Simon's at a very critical place, if you preach teach, share your testimony, or if you are in some form of leadership, you have a responsibility to bring the truth because I cannot get to heaven with blood on my hands.

Simon Pinchbeck:

No, you can't.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

And so that's what lockdown has done to me.

Simon Pinchbeck:

If you've preached the truth, we preach the truth. And this is where where we're at with Christian hashtag Christian straight talk. We talk about a truth if we tell the truth, then if you don't listen to that, then you That's on you. But we're putting it out there. You know, wherever you are today, you see, let me put it to you. I believe God has removed the restrainer. From

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Yeah,

Simon Pinchbeck:

from this country and from other countries across the world. So he's seen that the mess.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Yeah,

Simon Pinchbeck:

he says Enron was one further down he hands over. He hands the people over if they reject him over to a sexual The first is a sexual revolution. And we've seen that I will.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Yeah, that's been there for a long time.

Simon Pinchbeck:

And the next thing is a same sex revolution.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Yeah,

Simon Pinchbeck:

and we've had that and now people will go Oh, you can't say that. That's hating talk. You're a hater. But listen, let me tell you this. If we hated you, we wouldn't tell you about the gospel

Reverend Ben Cooper:

thats right the gospel will set you free

Simon Pinchbeck:

about the saving grace of Jesus power has gone across we wouldn't tell you about that price is because we love you that we're telling you this is the word of god it comes right out of Romans one and more the apostle of said it it says in 22 he says For this reason God gave them up to via passions for even their women exchange the natural use of what is against nature likewise, also the men leaving the natural use of the woman burned in their loss for one another. So

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Wow,

Simon Pinchbeck:

so God gives them over to that stuff.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Yeah. And then you can you can see this

Simon Pinchbeck:

Ben is a reprobate mind in sanity is and we can see that across the world.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Wow, you can see the craziness that is it is insane. And I think that's what's hit us so hard, is the truth is being revealed to the believer. And when you get the truth being revealed to you see how more crazy the world actually is. When you look at governments, you look at leaders you look at the system of the world. You look at the economical system you look at what's happening in Afghanistan, it this is all crazy. Is this real? Sometimes I think to myself, Am I mad? I'm mad during my gonna wake up and then

Simon Pinchbeck:

most people do

Reverend Ben Cooper:

and there's gonna be a lot of quacka around my bed going you made it son You're right. You've got to you're okay. You've come back we kept ya, cuz I'm thinking the things I'm hearing and hearing and seeing is crazy

Simon Pinchbeck:

is cry out. You know, we watched on the television when a plane was watched people actually falling from that plane. Or people jumping out of the World Trade Center.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Yeah.

Simon Pinchbeck:

Now, last night as my son's birthday and we was out for steak meal

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Yeah.

Simon Pinchbeck:

We were sent you want a nice steak meal in a restaurant with loads of other people. Yeah, all this craziness is going on.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Yeah.

Simon Pinchbeck:

Somewhere in the world, somewhere in the world is just madness. Well. When Paul says in Romans one, he says he gives them over to the basement. And he lists some things but he says to those things that are not fitting in pain are filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil muddiness. All whispers, back biters, haters of God,

Reverend Ben Cooper:

you know, God, nature. When you read that, you think, Oh, my God, what hope is there but there's all hope. Yeah, there's all hope, because he's the God of hope. But I really believe as Simon has been reading that out, God is making something very clear to you, if you are a believer, like us, we are believing. And maybe God, there's been a light shining on your spirit and on your heart. You know, this stuff needs to be revealed. It can be very hard hitting it can be very, very uncomfortable sometimes about hearing things, but the Word of God cuts through is sharper than the truth.

Simon Pinchbeck:

And this is the word of God, and we're being sold it. We can't say some of this stuff.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Yeah, this is. Yeah,

Simon Pinchbeck:

yeah. This is the word of God. And this is where I believe God's judging the world. And people are saying, Well, we've had this in other times, but in other times, we've had a very strong morally, Christian backbone and church to back things up. We have not got that at this moment in time. And I heard something the other day ben, john MacArthur preached, he said, when God judges are people, it gives them over to wicked leaders. Well, I think we're seeing across

Reverend Ben Cooper:

across the planet across the planet, you know, you can see, self appointed, self driven, looking out for themselves, looking out for the best deal that they can get. We've seen it in our own political arena within the UK, certain ones that have stepped in and they've had massive money deals that was gonna come out that was really quiet kept under the carpet. We've seen it we're hearing it all the time. So this this is a serious place to be now at the moment.

Simon Pinchbeck:

Well then go

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Are you going to follow

Simon Pinchbeck:

jesus is not in a building there's no God in government there's no God, Scotland's scientist teaches the Atlas professors teaching our children at school we've mentioned it many times before

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Yeah,

Simon Pinchbeck:

you know and and we have a church that shows we are well let's get back to normal No, listen, this can't be fixed adjustment. This is where we're at this is what yeah, it's been brought to more in the last phase.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

yes right and as Simon is speaking, I'm just dropping this stuff has been dropped in my spirit light. We're sweeping through this building we're cleaning all the cupboards out we're sweeping through because of what's happening here. But it is quite interesting that that's what I asked God to do as well here he will sweep through spiritually he will remove all the yeast you know, because religion holds doesn't it religion holds stuff it fills up its temples with with fine art with gold with all the stuff that has been gathered all the way through the years we're good at holding stuff and we're good at saying yeah, we're gonna go back to that and we pull stuff out in the cupboard. But I really believe God through the exercise of what we are doing here for the physical side of this are sweeping through and and going right the front dealing with what we got to deal with here I really believe is a spiritual exercise that we need us we need to ask God for our Lord and he just sweep through me Lord I need I need to fill your hand upon the Lord sweep from a heart suite for every area of the church whatever church denomination Lord sweep furnish denomination we need to yeast to be removed

Simon Pinchbeck:

amen to that

Reverend Ben Cooper:

we need a sweep for it's got to be swept through we need

Simon Pinchbeck:

a prayer just to say wherever you are you know Lord, Lord here I am use me but sweep through me sweep for sweep me clean you sweep me,

Reverend Ben Cooper:

sweep me for

Simon Pinchbeck:

all that stuff we've just mentioned in Romans one

Reverend Ben Cooper:

because that's that's big stuff. We are out where are we can you can almost smell Armageddon coming over the hill. You can the battlefield has been, you know, the Antichrist.

Simon Pinchbeck:

You know, I think people need to be prepared because Ben This is the last judgement before the final judge.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Yeah, yeah.

Simon Pinchbeck:

And and, you know, the Bible talks about was he did it 10 virgins that

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Oh, yes. Yeah,

Simon Pinchbeck:

some five bad oil and five didnt

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Yeah, but I remember that one. That's one I don't get preached about that.

Simon Pinchbeck:

So you know the ones with the oil when the bryker time they was in there was in and what did the others do? knocking at the door, saying let us in, let us in.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Yeah,

Simon Pinchbeck:

give us some of your oil, no the doors locked

Reverend Ben Cooper:

So there comes a point there's a cut off point. So

Simon Pinchbeck:

cut up on what you mentioned earlier, the same with Noah and the ark. Yeah, you can you imagine, you know, when he first started building that ark,

Reverend Ben Cooper:

jokin, let's go wetherspoons he look at that neighbor. Look. Well, that neighbor did that neighbors reading his Bible on the porch. He's

Simon Pinchbeck:

building his massive

Reverend Ben Cooper:

bloke doing church. He's, he's praying I'm going down a road. I see that I'm going to football i'm off, as it was in the days of Noah. And so will it be in the end times?

Simon Pinchbeck:

When the rain started coming in? Don't you think there'll be a few people knocking on his door?

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Yeah. And the Lord says no need some oil? No,

Simon Pinchbeck:

no, the doors locked

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Oil is a very important very interesting way the oil was used in the Bible you know the oil of cleansing the oil of the Holy Spirit. The oil father we need more anointing we need Lord Lord anoint me with oil. Lord I cannot be found at the last day Lord with with my jar empty. Religion is empty. Religion is at Jacobs world trying to draw from a muddy place

Simon Pinchbeck:

religion is the folly of the church saying Yeah, nothing Bad's happening. Oh, nothing to see here. Everything's going on as normal. Okay, get the flowers in the church and let's get the doughnuts out. Let's get back to how It was a few songs that have a bit of social justice. Let's get out of there. When it's all going off

Reverend Ben Cooper:

persecution. persecution is at the door. persecution, the wolf is at the door. The wolf is revealing its teeth for the wolf is growling the wolf is is almost saliva is dripping. The wolf is looking for food. He can smell victory.

Simon Pinchbeck:

He can smell I've got the church finally where I want here in this country

Reverend Ben Cooper:

and that's lucifer. That's what Lucifer wants. That's what he wanted Christ to do in the Gospel of Matthew chapter four. from verse one rant about verse seven when Lucifer said very clearly to Christ, he said, I'll give you all these. I'll give you everything. This splendor you see everything. I'll give you everything. If you bow down and worship Me That's what the that's what the Antichrist wants for believers to bow down and to worship a fallen God and to hand everything over to the Antichrist. But if you are a believer, you are going to have to hold on to your word hold on to the sword of the Spirit, you're gonna have to go you're gonna have to dive deep you're gonna have to be like a deep sea diver, you know, the church is on the top with it snorkel out and it's it's, it's floating on the surface, but if you are a real believer, you got to leave your snorkel you got to pick up the tank so the Word of God and Jesus is expecting us to dive deep and he's got to be the oxygen

Simon Pinchbeck:

in your true and because the folio the church Ben is this the folio churches is it'll be okay and the government and the wolf is saying it'll be okay it's exactly like look we have you know, arrived at this moment in time we have this Taliban takeover Yeah, can I step away what are the Taliban said will will still allow women to go out education was still willing to do this. And if you believe that my friend You know, you believe in Santa Claus the wolf that's the truth the wolf is at the door there knocking door to door over there. Pulling out girls pull it out now

Reverend Ben Cooper:

god help us.

Simon Pinchbeck:

man there's there's there's all sorts of atrocities going on. Yeah. But but this is the same thing here. The wolf the government is saying, Come come in and everything's gonna be fine. While the man one but don't preach about.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Yeah,

Simon Pinchbeck:

don't preach about same sex stuff. don't preach about the blood of Christ, don't preach about, about repentance. You know, we want to preach that God is love and God is love. And there's there's one god that covers all religions.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Yes.

Simon Pinchbeck:

What they

Reverend Ben Cooper:

god is all about, you hear it so often, don't you? So very clearly a clock across all spheres of conversation. God is love. And that's what's been. The drum is being beaten at the moment. God is love. God is love. God is love. But God also is wrath. God, you know, God is God. God is the judge. He's a jealous God. And he will not be mocked.

Simon Pinchbeck:

He doesn't wink at sin ben, he's not mocking your

Reverend Ben Cooper:

God, and does the church within the UK we have some very fine and very sound biblical teachers. We have pockets of, of churches that are really following God. But there there is a few, a very small few. And but what we do have is we have very highly educated men and women that are very sound in this speech and very clear, but we are looking at historical stuff. And we are being given a lecture and we are not being given the Word of God, we need the root word, we need the Word of God, we need sound doctrine. We need preachers and teachers that will rise up with the water gone. and preach a simon says about repentance, the wickedness of sin and to get my life right with Jesus.

Simon Pinchbeck:

I think we I think we do and they're few and far between. But you know, Ben, if you're a born again, spirit full lever, and you've got relationship with Jesus, that's the most important thing, you know, and, and you you've repented of your sins turned away from that you've accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, then we have a responsibility.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

So it also we call responsibility, but it now it falls to me as an individual as an individual. So there's that there's that there's a responsibility that sits on my shoulders, and I can see all the denominations. And we talk about all and we bring it to the forefront. And we know that we see the great things that some areas of church are doing. And we thank God for that. But then above that, I look at that and I say, right, okay, God, I can't sit under this anymore. So I am responsible for exiting any denomination that isn't preaching Genesis to Revelation, because when I get called home, I won't have the denomination standing with me who will be with Me. Me.

Simon Pinchbeck:

Yeah,

Reverend Ben Cooper:

it would just be me in front of Christ.

Simon Pinchbeck:

You can't blame

Reverend Ben Cooper:

and I can't blame anybody else. So I I really believe we believe that we are at this time now where God is, is really warning the church warning the individual, speaking very clearly for the signs of what is happening around the globe of Follow me, you this is the time where you you've had your garden experience. You've been in the garden now. Now you're coming out of the garden, people want to arrest you. People are gonna say you as you I see you are you are you a believer, and we've got to be careful that we're not caught with the ones that want to sit around a fire bin and deny him. That's what the denominations are doing, sitting around a fire being going. I don't know that Jesus. I don't know him. You can have ones that will stare him down the eyes across the courtyard. But you're gonna have ones that will go on for you, Jesus. I'm for you

Simon Pinchbeck:

an exciting thing, Ben is if we embrace the gospel, if he if we embrace the gospel, boom, if we move on the gospel, and we are protected, we are we are, in God's hand is honest. And no power of hell can ever

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Yeah. have his hand, nothing can separate us from the love.

Simon Pinchbeck:

He's got you.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

He's got he's got you. He's got me

Simon Pinchbeck:

a conqueror through him. Ben, the situation out there, you know, I'm sorry. But if you're open, it's going to get better. I don't think its going to get better ben.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

But what will happen is Christ will strengthen anyone that will come to him and go or

Simon Pinchbeck:

exactly right, because it raises raises the stakes and on what we're called to do that,

Reverend Ben Cooper:

yeah, because he won't remove what we want him to remove. It's on the outside. But what he will do, he will strengthen us and give us the capabilities through him. He says, Come to me, all of you that are were in heavy laden, and the church is tired. In the UK, the church has been running on itself. And now God is actually calling the church even though we talk so harshly. And so the truth about the church, I really believe God is calling the church and God is judging the church. And there are many leaders in their offices and in their elite positions, really feeling within their hearts and their deep within their very innermost being that actually we got to change. But they're frightened to step out.

Simon Pinchbeck:

It's difficult, it's difficult.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

denomination so

Simon Pinchbeck:

you, you're right now I think you're right, I think, you know, you've got, personally you've got a choice, personally, you've got a choice. And churches have got a choice, do we, we're trying to fix this thing, or are we just gonna, gonna look and see and embrace the gospel and bring in as many sources as to be saved as we can, we can't, are you going to just bury your head in the sand like an ostrich and, and just get along to go along, and just embrace everything government from you because, you know, inch by inch, little by little, if the more you give, the more they'll take?

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Yeah, that's right.

Simon Pinchbeck:

And that and they're taking, and they're taking, and they'll take until you just become, you know, a complete, watered down just a wet flannel, of wet flannel, of what to what God really meant you to be, which is, you know,

Reverend Ben Cooper:

your caught to be a warrior. And I do believe God is calling leaders, God is calling the leader again. And, and I think we need to really dig deep in the water garden. And there there is hope there is hope for the church in the UK. And we might be saying, Well, how do we fix this, we can't fix this. But the the quickest. And the easiest way we can see a change is if you are a leader if you're in a congregation, if you're a leader of denomination, and in your heart of hearts, you really know that this is going against God's word, the easiest and the quickest way we just put our head to the desk and go God I found you I'm sorry. I've been caught in this lie and I'm standing up for Jesus. Now I repent in Jesus name is done.

Simon Pinchbeck:

It's done. It's done.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

And now follow the word

Simon Pinchbeck:

follow the word.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

It's done. It's gonna try and change the organization. let Jesus change you. Exactly. You can't change the organization. No, no you because the organization is not of God.

Simon Pinchbeck:

And the organization is under the judgment of God but you can step out anytime you want. Yeah, and embrace the embrace the word you're you're exactly right. And what we got to do, because say you've got to get out there and be a difference and we got it.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Yes,

Simon Pinchbeck:

man

Reverend Ben Cooper:

isn't it interesting interest in the agenda of the global warming is what saved the planet? Don't talk about humans

Simon Pinchbeck:

and

Reverend Ben Cooper:

save the planet

Simon Pinchbeck:

or save the NHS send it save

Reverend Ben Cooper:

the NHS you know, save it yourself is so this is what the Antichrist does. He takes the focus off of the human being going to hell and he puts the the weight on us guys, we can save the planet the sat the planet doesn't need saving, because the planet is going to be burned up in the end days. Anyway, what needs to happen is humanity needs to be saved

Simon Pinchbeck:

saved totally so

Reverend Ben Cooper:

the humans being

Simon Pinchbeck:

this world stuff we've got to stop the self proclaiming gospel you are at the center we got to stop the Santa Claus gospel that there's gonna give anything and we got to preach the true gospel Ben.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Yeah, it's so clever with this global warming it's it's save the planet, save the Earth, save the planet save the Earth. Nothing is spoken about the human being. But when the human being is brought into the conversation In his, he bought a bottle of water, you're right into the air. But the manufacturers and the government told me this is you, you're filling your car up with diesel, that's when the blind comes back to the human. But at the beginning, this is the right way to go save the planet, save the planet. But really, it's a very clever spin on what is happening. The Bible says it doesn't mention doesn't say talk about save the planet, we're not interested in saving the earth. It is. You're fishers of men.

Simon Pinchbeck:

You're fishers of men,

Reverend Ben Cooper:

that's human beings. That you it's about humanity not Don't worry about the tree, because that's gonna do what it's going to do. Don't worry about the ocean that's going to do what it's going to do, just by stopping by an aerosol doesn't mean to say that you're going to save the planet, or you're going to is in an interest in how you get caught in a recycle process. It is important to recycle. But isn't it interesting? Because they're my focus is on the planet, the planet, the planet? And isn't it interesting, the Bible tells us don't worship the planet. It's a god. It's been lifted up as as a God as it always has done through the Greek mythology and everything that goes along with that. If I start putting weight to the planet, save the planet, save the planet, it becomes an idol, it becomes a god,

Simon Pinchbeck:

you're exactly right, Ben, and you know, this, we have to be responsible were so close. We know, we know that. But don't make it your God.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Exactly. And that's what we're doing.

Simon Pinchbeck:

And the thing is, you know, I looked the other day and 50 of the most polluted cities in the world, you know, a good 35 come from India, and another 10 probably come from China. And it's not a Western crap, not a Western city. So, so we're doing pretty well any year. Without that, you don't need to put that as, as your as your garden. And men out there. You know, if you like red meat, carry on eating red meat. Yeah,

Reverend Ben Cooper:

if you want to squirt a bit of deodorant under your arm have a squat, if you want to put a bit of air spray on put a bit of air spray on

Simon Pinchbeck:

things to save men, women and children from the pit of hell. That is the truth.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

All the ecologists out there or those that are studying to save the planet, my bible tells me in the book of revelations that the earth we burn up, so I won't bother wasting your time anymore. But just worry about your own soul. I mean, where am I going when this earth burns up? It's no good me plant in any more trees is no good. Me, you know, doing this doing that. Because I cannot save the planet

Simon Pinchbeck:

is no good thinking, you know, we've got to reach a zero emission carbon thing by 2030. Because you know, my God could take your life tonight.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

It's really interesting that you even have a breath, said, so don't take me tonight because I've got electric car coming next month. And that's my input to this to this ecological disaster. Lord, I'm gonna go electric. Where's the electric coming from? Let's build more nuclear power stations,

Simon Pinchbeck:

then let's build more batteries.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Yeah, I mean, so isn't it easy how the world can capture you and take your focus off of your own soul? Yeah, that's what it does. everything that goes on around the world. It takes the focus off of our own mortality. And we are so busy in saving the planet, looking at the environment in the educational departments business, the elite and then suddenly the biggest play that has hit the world since the Old Testament has been COVID-19 and it has just destroyed everything that we thought that we was putting weight into it just closed everything down. The Book of Ecclesiastes, it says everything is meaningless.

Simon Pinchbeck:

Everything is meaningless. Yeah,

Reverend Ben Cooper:

but But what is really important from this this chat that we're having today this discussion is it's your own mortality. Where do I go when I die?

Simon Pinchbeck:

You took the words right out of my mouth that is the question Where do I go when I die?

Reverend Ben Cooper:

That is the question all this stuff we've been bringing to the table everything over a number of months Where will I go? When I die?

Simon Pinchbeck:

Oh I'm a good person. ben you know Why don't I

Reverend Ben Cooper:

switch from aerosol I use roll on I went from diesel to electric all

Simon Pinchbeck:

the electric car

Reverend Ben Cooper:

and yeah, I'll become I was a gluten free Christian. Yeah, and I you know how

Simon Pinchbeck:

I don't I've only got I've got my bag for life Tesco, you know all that sort of stuff and we might have been like, what are now so I don't have a little more little box all that sort of stuff. You know I buy another nice big steak so we can get rid of more cows all that sort of stuff. I don't know where it is. You know,

Reverend Ben Cooper:

we have been lied too. There is at such

Simon Pinchbeck:

a level that there is a weeping by all this stuff. But there is a place there is a place It is a place because where we're at yeah The question that you asked is Where will I go tonight?

Reverend Ben Cooper:

When I die when I die, and all this stuff, we're talking about a scripture, because everything we're talking about is how governments will be, how leaders will be, how the system will be how the planet will be at the end of time. So as Jesus sat at the Mount, as he was telling the audience around him, look out for the signals, how will we know the coming of the Son of the man? He said, Look out for the signs. So there is many signs, one world government one world order, one world army, one control system,

Simon Pinchbeck:

and all the all the things the

Reverend Ben Cooper:

One World Bank,

Simon Pinchbeck:

the fires, the earthquakes, all that sort of stuff. birth pains, birth pains is in written in Scripture in the Bible.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Yeah. So all what we're talking about is save the planet. Or we're talking about of the NHS staff, everything about the monetary, everything about government, global warming, g7 summit, all the political arena that's going on at the moment, the fighting in Afghanistan, the wars, the rumors of wars, and not forgetting we've never really touched in this room. lockdown is where the scripture makes it very clear that the children and the youth will rise against parents. That is a big indicator at this moment, isn't it that we're not allowed to touch or chastise your child? The child can do anything it wants.

Simon Pinchbeck:

He can get the jab, you know, 16 said without even asking your parents.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Yeah.

Simon Pinchbeck:

Do you know to be there? I'd see and I see someone on in Australia saying, oh, we'll look after your kids you know, yeah, he kids will be looked after bring him in, you know,

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Pied Piper said that didnt and he led them in a some dodgy corner. I think this is really clear

Simon Pinchbeck:

what you know, with the NHS stuff, they've they've switched it down, they put they put a switch on it say we have to save the NHS but the NHS was designed to save us. Yeah, right. But you can do more than save you physically. You can save us spiritually for ever. Yeah. Then for us right to, to live in a place. Jesus Christ and God in a place of heaven. Oh, yeah. live in a place.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Yeah.

Simon Pinchbeck:

live in a place of eternal torment. It's,

Reverend Ben Cooper:

it's your choice. That's right. We love We love the fact that there are doctors and there are nurses and there are people in the NHS and the healthcare that are looking after us. And they heal us, they keep us but there's a there's a level above that. They're only they're only like my I'm like a car I go to the NHS and they only patch me up, they sought me out. And they keep me ticking for a few years. But actually what happens when the NHS and the consultants and say there's nothing else we can do for you? What happens when, when when the medic say there's nothing else I'm sorry? Where am I destined? Where is my soul going? Where do we go as human beings, we thank God for the doctors, we thank God for, for the way that they look after us and the way they they help us and they fix us and they encouraged us and we we are blessed to have such a beautiful healthcare system that we have. But it isn't it is so much more than that. There is so much above this area this, that there's an area that is working as the book of Ephesians mentions the principalities, the areas of darkness that is above that is trying to snatch your soul trying to take you that you know this this is above the NHS This is above what the world is trying to do. This is about where do I go when I die? eternity? Am I destined for the lake of fire? Or am I destined for the King of glory? As

Simon Pinchbeck:

your choice,

Reverend Ben Cooper:

that choice and

Simon Pinchbeck:

you know,

Reverend Ben Cooper:

we all come in the same way we will go out the same way. It's really really powerful stuff is powerful

Simon Pinchbeck:

stuff.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Where do I go when I die? That's it. That is the question what happens to me What is my own mortality? Am I am I heaven bound is my name stamped in the Lamb's book of life. And brothers and sisters, friends, whoever you are across the earth listening to this, please remember it's not about getting into a church building is getting into Jesus Christ.

Simon Pinchbeck:

And Jesus says something very interesting. Ben in, in the in the Gospel of john ran about 23 1224. He said this, he said, Jesus sends to them saying he said the hours come that the Son of man should be glorified. Most assuredly I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Yeah,

Simon Pinchbeck:

it remains alone. But if it dies, it produces much grain. He who loves his life will lose it.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Wow.

Simon Pinchbeck:

And he hates his life in this world. We'll keep it for it. No life, if anyone serves me, let him follow me. And where I am there, my my servant will be also if anyone serves me, him, my father will honor and he is interesting because it goes on to say, he said, Now my troll soul is troubled, and what shall I say, Father saved me from this out because he knew where he was going. But for this purpose, I've came to this our father glorify Your name, and then the voice came from heaven, and they all at ease. They said, I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again. Therefore, the people who stood by and heard it said, it said, it had thundered others said, No, when angels spoken to him. And then Jesus said this. In john 1213, he said, This voice did not come because of me, but for your sake. Well, now the judgment of this world, now is the judgment of this world. Now the ruler of this will will be cast out. And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all peoples to myself. powerful words from from Jesus Christ Himself.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Yeah, yeah, it's so true. Deep do you feel? As you're out there listening to this? Do you feel that everything has become meaning less that we're trying to fill our lives with? materialism just trying to fill this vacuum, this void, this, this emptiness, this loneliness? Well, I really believe Christ is calling you now. Christ is calling you Christ will strengthen you Christ will make a way where there seems to be no way. Salvation, the gift, you know, we can't earn it. We can't pay for it. The gift of salvation is a gift. And it comes from the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit. And he wants to give you the gift. And it doesn't mean entering into a church becoming a pastor or a leader. It doesn't mean picking up the baton of religion. This is what it means to be a believer. Come and follow me. Come on, follow me. Give me your heart. Give me Give me your heart. Trust me,

Simon Pinchbeck:

leave the past behind become a new

Reverend Ben Cooper:

creation. Yeah, you. You can achieve everything with me. You can make it you will make it your name can be put in a Lamb's book of life. Can we ask ourselves this question? Do we know that our names are stamped in the Lamb's book of life? Can we truly say yes, I am really saved?

Simon Pinchbeck:

I think I think that's a great question. And I think in the quietness of where you are, I think I think the ask as the as the Lord one thing. Am I a son or a daughter? And you know, he's, he's gonna say he's gonna tell you, he's gonna affirm you, if that's where you are? And if if not, and you want to be there, and you're searching and you want to be there and you've thought about the question been asked as Where will I end up if I die tonight? Yeah, and you want to be assured that you will end up on the right side you want to be assured in heaven then then we're going to I'm going to say a prayer and and if you can just commit yourself to Jesus right now in your heart You don't need to say a prayer is not his but it helps to know that you've really sort of nailed it on there. So we'll say this this prayer Ben will say Heavenly Father if you're if you this is what you want, if you want to reaffirm or you want to make sure that

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Yeah,

Simon Pinchbeck:

your name is written that book a lot of say this and really mean it. Heavenly Father, forgive me for all the nonsense I've done.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Yeah.

Simon Pinchbeck:

i Repent, I turn my back on on all the stuff in my life that's wrong. And And right now, ask for your forgiveness. And right now I accept your Son, Jesus Christ, into my life to be with me from this day forward. I belong to Jesus, I know pair of hell will take me from his hand.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Thankyou, Jesus.

Simon Pinchbeck:

In Jesus name. Amen.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Amen. Amen. Simon. We've gone to a different place to the unbelief. God has taken us to a different place. And we thank God for that. Thank God that we're there. God has given us the boldness. God has given our brothers and sisters on the other side of the mic the strength to to really ask the question, am I saved? Am I really a true believer? Because the church is over denomination is over. It will always be in the background. It will always be beating the drum it'll always be showing its white teeth and it's faked spray tan and waving the flag. That will always be there. But I need Jesus. There's a multitude out there in congregation There's a multitude out there in the world that are just grabbing on to things, looking for that eternal peace wrapped up in materialism. But Jesus is the way Simon has led us in the prayer. May God bless you and strengthen you. Thank you, Simon. You know, we love you, my friend, we love you so much. And you know, you've been listening to Simon and myself hashtag Christian Straight Talk. And we really believe God is is is challenging us to run these mics just to speak very openly, very truthfully. And it's not to offend anybody, but it's to open our hearts to the truth.
