Simon Pinchbeck:It's amazing. Ben, and what can you say just that it's amazing that people are picking up the stuff downloading it. And we pray, you know, every day that people will benefit from some of the stuff that Lord gives us. We're just sitting here we just got blokes with no real formal training or anything. But it's what the Lord just gives us and what the Lord gives us for a time such as this really Ben and
Reverend Ben Cooper:it's really powerful stuff. And it feels privileged in it to be able to be live in in n times to be living in where the world is so fearful. And they might not be talking about fear. And bringing us all back to some form of normality and doing what saying what they're saying. But really, you can see even through the eyes of the politicians, ain't got a clue,
Simon Pinchbeck:not got a clue and know that they're following some script that they're trying to go over. But it changes from from week to week. And if you're hanging on to every word that they're saying, and you're putting your trust in that, then the fear is going to ramp up and worse. So today Really, the two we're going to talk about different spirits, really, it's the spirit of fear, and whatever. So we're going to talk about that and maybe how to, to combat that. And get out of that. And then put your trust in the Lord put your trust in the Lord and get into the word which is combated across this what we always say isn't
Reverend Ben Cooper:it back to the cross, it always has to be the cross whatever is going on in your life in my life, Simon's life, whatever is is there's got to be it's got to be at the center. The Cross has to be at the center, you know, we're not talking about using the cross as a symbol. But as we look at the cross, we understand the cross a Calvary that there was the Crimson Tide that was shared for each and every one of us that Christ's blood was shed for us and He loves you unconditionally. It doesn't matter what you're going through. It doesn't matter how big the problem but what we got to be careful of is that this subject that we're talking about, this is what Lucifer drives, he only has this driver, and it is fear, but then it has many different strands to that as well. So we have to be really careful, you know not to get engaged in that word fear, it is an emotion that is very real. And I don't even like to use a word emotion because it's a spirit, isn't it?
Simon Pinchbeck:It's a spirit by now I'm going to talk about it today. And if we just to kick it off if we when we went back to last week's podcast and if you didn't catch it, it's called giants or four. It's a great great look at how you get rid of giants in your life, which are different different things. And an example of that was when fear came on the spies that went into the went into the promised land if you remember that. That's right. All in the book or numbers in the numbers 14 they came back with an evil report except for two and the Bible says that God says that his his sons Joshua and Caleb, were men of a different spirit. Come on, Lord. And if we go into the New Testament, then I mean we're gonna you're gonna hit the Bible hardest, this Bible adventure. So if you go to New Testament and you know, in two Timothy one seven, he says, God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind.
Reverend Ben Cooper:Amen sound might now that you've mentioned the word there a sound mind sound mind. We flicked open. The Book of Exodus chapter 14, didn't we? We was looking at as well as that as well. laced in with this because we spoke about standing still on Simon has just said a rule important word about the mind about the focus and everything through the mind. Now it says that Pharaoh changed his mind. And also in that text as well in Exodus chapter 13, it tells us that God led them. When Pharaoh let the people go, he says that God led them the long way around, because he said, God said to Moses, if I take my children through the shortwave, through this Philistine country, they might change their minds. So we have Christians that live their lives by their minds. And also we have Pharaoh so we, so humanity is driven by the mind and if I continue to live on my mind, and the mind will trigger so much stuff within me now, this is a really great subject that Simon has brought to the table this morning, because the mind is such a powerful area of my being and the devil wants to get my mind. Oh, yes,
Simon Pinchbeck:huge, and you will hear there's been many sermons, preachers, books written on the battlefield of the mind. And that's really where the battlefield is. It's the mind and as you rightly said, See, if you give into your feelings, your emotions, yes, yeah. Then you're never gonna win because you can't beat the flesh in the flesh. No, you can't. So it is a spiritual thing. And as you know, we says in in Joshua Caleb, there were men of a different spirit to Timothy one seven says, God didn't give us a spirit of fear. Proverbs three, five to eight says, Oh, rubeus, Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own Understand? Come on. So So it says, when we're leading on our own understanding will lead me on our own thoughts, our own mind things, but he says lean not on your own, understand his understanding. It says, In all your ways, acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your path. So there's a surrender again, Ben, isn't it? Yeah. And many people stop there. But if you go on to the next two lines, it says, Do not be wise in your own eyes. Wow. Fear of the Lord, which is a subject we'll come on to. and depart from evil. It will be held to your flesh and a strength to your palms. Wow. What is what God's saying is, quite simply, he doesn't make it difficult. He says, Don't give in to these emotions. Don't look at things in your own mind on your own understanding. You are mine. If you're a born again, spiritual believer, if you are giving your life to Christ, yeah, then you belong to Christ. And so Amen. So no longer should you be giving in to the worldly fleshly feelings, and worrying about because, you know, we've seen we said before the battle is the Lords
Reverend Ben Cooper:So the mind, the mind is the place that I've got to deal with the minds a thought pattern here where my emotions are triggered from. So back in Exodus back in Exodus when, when the Israelites looked up, the scripture says, when they looked up in Exodus, chapter 14, the Israelites looked out when they saw Pharaoh, they cried out in fear, so what my eyes lock on, will control my mind. So I need to be very careful as a believer that I don't live by my mind. Someone has read the Scripture out and lean not on your own understanding. But in all your ways acknowledge Him, it is really important that I live by faith. Faith is the driver is either faith or fear. Fear is not an option. There is no avail. Can't not fear cannot be the option
Simon Pinchbeck:woman. No,
Reverend Ben Cooper:it can't be. So I need to go in faith, but I'm gonna be careful. Just like the Israelites, when they looked up in their natural vision, they see Pharaoh coming with the 600 horses, chariots, or the fine armory of Egypt, and they was chasing them down. And it tells us very clearly in Exodus chapter 14, that the enemy overtook them and the enemy surrounded them. Now, I've got to be careful in my life, because the enemy when it surrounds us, I cannot lift up my eyes and look and engage in what the enemy looks like. If I let my eyes trigger my mind. My mind will do what make me fearful.
Simon Pinchbeck:So Ben, we've already said in the short time I've been speaking that fear is a is a spirit.
Reverend Ben Cooper:Yes.
Simon Pinchbeck:And you quite rightly said so. If fear is a spirit then branches of fear Yes, different spirits.
Reverend Ben Cooper:Yes. Yeah,
Simon Pinchbeck:we'll we'll examine a couple of those but you're exactly right here because the common aim of us have a demonic spirit. Yeah. Because that's what they are. Yeah, there's nothing more than that. I mean, you can you will save yourself Absolutely. 1000s of pounds go into therapists or psychologists if you realize that what is affecting you is a demonic spirits a mess. So these demonic spirits have got one common aim. And that's to trap snare and imprison you. to dereail them from God's plan, right, yeah. And let me just read out this.
Reverend Ben Cooper:were in church. Come on, we're based in a Bible. Bible
Simon Pinchbeck:2417 says this said fear and the pit and the snare or a poem, I wouldn't happen so the earth, and it shall be that he who flees from the noise of the fear come up shall fall into the pit, and heel comes up from the midst of the pit shall be caught in a snare, or Jason, the windows from from on high or open, and the foundations of the earth are shaken. So what it's, it's saying is, basically and that is, yes, after, yeah, it's a snare, it's a snare, it's, it's a trap. And if you believe in it, in your own mind, if you try and deal with it in your own mind, and we've just heard that God says, Do not did not know your own understanding, you're never gonna get anywhere. Yeah,
Reverend Ben Cooper:so my so understanding when you break this down, if I allow my understanding, my understanding, and However, I'm in academic and my thinking and philosophy, and that if I allow my earthly me to take hold of me, it will keep me at an earthly level. But what I got to be careful of is that when I live by faith, God does something that's very powerful, he opens our eyes. And then suddenly, we start to see this world, this, this world that is not seen, by naturalize. When I say see it, we feel it, we pick it out, we pick it up by by the by the actions of what the world is doing. So when the Bible says do not lean on your own understanding. But I've got to make sure something is really clear that I go by faith, and I go in the Word of God, and as Simon says, is the word of God every second, every moment of my life, because there are many devils out there.
Simon Pinchbeck:There are many demonic spirits. They're all aimed at you. And if you if you look at demonic spirits, Derek, if you listen to Derek Prince, yes, I don't know if anyone's heard of him out there. But if you if you haven't heard of him, please look him up. Because he's the probably the, the best authority on this stuff. There. Yeah, great books on some great, so what he says. He says, demonic spirit is a person without a body. So you can speak to it. Yeah. And you can tell it what to do. If you're a born again, yet spirit full believer, because you've got the authority in the blood of Christ. Yeah, to do that. And the Spirit will listen and obey you. But if, if if you're not, and you're very dispiriting just gonna go, who were you, I don't recognize you.
Reverend Ben Cooper:Who are you? And that's it. That is, so scripture is scripture. Then demonic forces said to the disciples, I don't know who you are, I find that quite fascinating that the demonic forces said, I don't know who you are, but I know Jesus. Yeah. And that's it. So now, these were disciples, these were men. These were men that were called by Jesus called and chosen by him. The Devils don't recognize and couldn't recognize the authority that they had. Probably because they wasn't operating in the authority, and they didn't understand the authority that was given. So here we have demonic forces saying to children of the living God, I don't know you, but I know Jesus. Yeah, exactly. So spirit. So the spirit world is a very interesting place, isn't it? Then we say to ourselves with it, if it's the spirit world, how do these demonic forces of fear How do they How do they guess? Well, we've only got a look at Judas Iscariot, because it says when he was around the communion table when they was gathered at the Last Supper, and he was taking communion with Christ at that point, when Christ took the bread, put the bread in the SOP, and he handed it to Judas. What happened at that point of contact? Satan entered into Judas. So right at the communion table, right face to face. I bought an eyeball. You got Judas Iscariot, in his human form, and then suddenly Satan is sitting in the wings. And the Bible says that Satan entered into Judas Iscariot, so, so demonic forces, they use human beings to get their work done,
Simon Pinchbeck:to get their work done and to do their work. And that's the truth. So. So the way they come in, they come in at a very early age, and they're always looking, don't forget where we are. Now, we're on the winning side, Ben, we're totally sorry, but we are up against a stronger determined enemy, who is well organized. So it's all the time looking for an opportunity Yeah, to dispatch one of these demonic agent into your life. If he sees any doubt, any stumbling any hears anything coming out your mouth that where he can suddenly just come in. And we're going to talk about that because we're going to talk about a few of these spirits that that the enemy dispatches. And one of the one of the ones we were going to talk about the fear of rejection at some point, but that's a very, very common thing when it comes in a very early age. So we've got the first one we're going to talk about Ben is the fear of disease. And it's real topic or at this moment in time. Yes, yeah. Because there's a lot of fear of the of the disease, the pandemic out there a lot of fear. yield. Yeah, by you know, I guess. Yeah. not made any better, if you like, by, by reports in social media, mainstream media, and just general gossip among people. Yeah. So. So yeah. And people that this moment in time, have been so frightened, they've been told to stay at home overnight. And in fact, they'll come at your house, and it becomes a prison, doesn't it? Yeah.
Reverend Ben Cooper:And then suddenly. So what we have is, is, is a messenger. So if we look at a messenger See, when someone puts a word out to you, it's either like James, the book of James says, It's either going to encourage you, or it's either gonna put you down, is ever going to fill you with faith, or it's going to knock you down in fear. There's that there's either a faithful message or it's a fearful message. So the message that we are hearing at the moment that is coming across the UK, is a very conflicting message within the enemy's camp itself. So what what the enemy is doing is using words, and he's in Tyson Tyson, what is enticing our mind, even as a believer, we got to be very careful what we hear where we sit in his pandemic, we've been given freedom day, but it's not really Freedom Day. So the enemy uses the human being as a vehicle. And I just want to reference this Simon in Mark chapter five, verses one to 20. There is a really interesting scripture, and it talks about a man it says, When Jesus got out of the boat, a man with an impure Spirit came up from the tombs to meet him. And this man was living in the terms, and no one can bind him anymore, not even with chains. So what we are talking about, again, here we see a spirit using the vehicle of a human being to get the work done, to get his work done. So this so this is very, this might sound a little bit off the wall sometimes because the church doesn't address address the demonic forces, not because we are fearful of them, but because we need to know because we are not in revival, we are in a serious press, a spiritual press, a hardest press than we've ever seen, since the cross of Calvary. And the enemy uses the vehicle of a human being to be the messenger.
Simon Pinchbeck:Certainly does. And and, Ben, you know, the the Great Commission was spread to gospel throughout the world. So every corner was able to see Yeah, and drive out demons. See, that's what Jesus That's right. But this last one has been dropped and it by the mainstream church. So yeah, you know, you come to church full of depression, which is again is a spirit. And I'll come to the doctor comes the sidecar. So you get him on a vacation? Yeah, no, yeah, just address that. address it Yeah. And, you know, speak to it. Speak to it. In the name of Jesus, you know, strong, you gotta be strong on these things. So
Reverend Ben Cooper:addressing anxiety and worry and fear is coming from Lucifer. Now what we got to make sure that's really clear, if you are a Bible believing believer, you know that your name is stamped in the Lamb's book of life, and you are a child of the living God. This is really critical for us to understand that greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world. So there's not room for any other spirit within me if I'm filled with the power of God, but what happens is the oppression from the outside the oppressive press of anxiety, worry, and the enemy tries to get my mind he can't get my heart because that that belongs to Christ, but what he does he he's a messenger, and the message comes from the outside and, and I've got to be careful that it doesn't play with my mind. But if you are a Bible believing believer, and you know you are blood washed, you are filled with the power of God, the enemy attacks from the outside and he tries to capture the mind as Simon said, the battlefield of the mind. It's the thoughts
Simon Pinchbeck:test and you got a test your fortune. There's the two Corinthians 10 five tells us that we weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty before God for pulling down strongholds, so we have got no weapons, yes in us, yes, God the Word speak and have the word, amen stuff we've got, we've got the blood of Jesus to find this. And, you know, it's not easy is about and we might have to do this, you know, stop these thoughts coming in day after day, hour after hour until we get victory, but we have to center off thoughts on Christ, we have to center our thoughts on the Father. And and remember to Timothy one seven, you know, he's not given us a spirit of fear. God has not given you a spirit of fear my friend. So wherever you are out there, if your failure is not from God, it's not from God's from the enemy. And and we you can defeat this or you can lay down or let it wash over you and maybe control you stand up. And if but if you let it control you then the enemies one. Yeah.
Reverend Ben Cooper:And he you we cannot we cannot lay down you know, the church has been laying down for too long. And just in this text that we are looking at, and we are going through the Scriptures that are coming out thick and fast or #Christian straight talk this morning, straight out the barrel of truth. Fear is not an option. But what I what I got to make sure is that Christ, Christ always addressed that the unclean spirit, the spiritual entity that was in front of Him, Christ never ran. Christ never ran, you will not find anywhere, even when when he was in in the the wilderness in that desolate place for 40 days, 40 nights when he was fasting, and the enemy came up went through the enemy will come up when you're weak. When your body is weak,
Simon Pinchbeck:and you just told me that you don't have anything to eat this morning. your in troubling.
Reverend Ben Cooper:I am in trouble. Yeah.
Simon Pinchbeck:Jesus did everything for 40 days and 40 nights
Reverend Ben Cooper:ive only not had anything for four hours.
Simon Pinchbeck:But you're right, you're true when you're and all the worry and the fear is going to it's going to drain the fight out. Yeah, he will. Yeah, during the fight as of you. So, and it will take you to other places, you know, people are there are so worried about, obviously about the COVID are so worried about some of the disease of a disease of it. They're so worried about other diseases going on. They're so worried that and then and then so they stay in our houses. And then yeah, there's another fear that comes in that they fear when they go out. I know. Yeah, I know. My mum, she's been in our house now for 18 months hasn't been out. While she she couldn't go out. She can't go back now. to the shops or so
Reverend Ben Cooper:there we have an example of a human being trapped, trapped in a trap. Because of words, because of what's been coming over what has been said. And what has been pressed from certain areas of the elite department and is driving driving people to isolation
Simon Pinchbeck:is driving people to isolation so and then there's another fear where people get panic because they're enclosed. So yeah, that's cost claustrophobia. The other ones of open spaces, agoraphobic, you're in it so people get frightened in large crowds, all that sort of stuff. So amongst these different strands as you said, all of a sudden, there's other things coming in and the whole thing together take you completely away from the path that God the beautiful because a five path the enemy ain't gonna tell there's a glorious will not for you, they're not gonna tell you that you are you are a son or daughter or the living God, you're you're just an amazing and you look out there and there's a beautiful world for you out there. It's not going to tell you that
Reverend Ben Cooper:Amen. Come on, come on this.
Simon Pinchbeck:Yeah, chains of bondage.
Reverend Ben Cooper:Now that Simon mentioned the word that I'm just looking at chains. Now he just brought this but we're gonna flick this back to the enemy. And it says in verse five, verse five of Mark chapter five, when, when Christ has come out, and during the face to face, chat with with this demonic force, I'm just flicking through the Scripture. And it says, For you to often been chained hand and foot, but he told the chains apart and broke the iron rods on his feet. No one was strong enough to even subdue him. So the enemy is strong. The enemy is powerful, but what did Christ do as I go further down his text, it says, it says, When Jesus saw him from a distance, he ran and fell to his knees in front of him. So everyone before Christ tried to change him, try to subdue him. No one could do anything about the power of the Living Word, the Word became flesh. And here we go into the battlefield, decried. Punch him, beat him with him. It says in this text, he it says, When Jesus saw him from a distance he ran and fell on his knees in front of him. demonic forces are attracted to Jesus. This might be a bit strange what I'm trying to say. But But demonic forces are drawn. Yeah, they can't run anywhere else. So they he was drawn, he ran to Jesus,
Simon Pinchbeck:demonic forces have to fall at the feet of Jesus,
Reverend Ben Cooper:they have to fall at the feet. He had to come into Christ presence.
Simon Pinchbeck:And, and this is the guy. His name is Legion. And this is
Reverend Ben Cooper:Legion,
Simon Pinchbeck:it was many
Reverend Ben Cooper:there was many, 7,000
Simon Pinchbeck:weve just said that we we've just said, the spirit of fear, the spirit of fear of disease and Agra phobia. claustrophobia all of a sudden, yeah, you know, they're coming in thick and fast.
Reverend Ben Cooper:Yeah, look what he said. He shouted at the top of his voice. In verse seven, he shouted at the top of his voice. What do you want with me? Jesus? See, the authority is in the hands of Jesus. What do you want with me? But human beings and or should I say churchy, folk, religious folk, there's a switch the enemy is saying, I've got you when actually no, Greater is He that is in me. I am filled with the Word of God. I'm a child of the living God. And I have authority over demonic spirits.
Simon Pinchbeck:You've got authority? Oh, yeah. It's knowing your authority is knowing who the authority is, knowing who you are in Christ because Galatians 220 and we used it we use this many times it tells us that it's not either live but Christ who lives in Christ is living in me you any BORN AGAIN believe we have the authority to tell these spirits what the dome?
Reverend Ben Cooper:Yeah, and we have to be very careful. Don't be silent, not we don't go into the name it and claim it. And the wrong the misinterpretation of the text. Because there are many cultures and many denominations out there that are all they talk about is deliverance. And that's I believe, that's where the enemy captures us as well. constantly going on. The devil is trying to get me the devil trying to do that. They were trying, man, yeah, you've come into when actually, when actually no, no, no,
Simon Pinchbeck:no, that's what I'm saying. A lot of this stuff is just life, you know? Yeah, but it's red. So it's being able to recognize what is and what isn't. And the only way you'll do that is by getting into the Word of God, isn't
Reverend Ben Cooper:it? It has to be the Word of God. But this demonic force, this man that no one else could chain, he broke, I on bars, he broke chains. He was violent, he was strong, he was powerful. But when Jesus was a distance away, the demonic force runs to Jesus and falls at Jesus's feet, the enemy's falling at your feet, you are a child of the living God do not allow anxiety, to control you flick it over, you are born again spirit field, do not allow that emotion do not allow that spiritual press because it's on the outside. It's all smoke and mirrors. The enemy has nothing that he can trap you with but with fear, and it will trigger the emotion it will trigger the mind. And then this demonic force falls at his feet. He says What do you want with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? Isn't that interesting that demonic forces knows that son of the High God. And the church? Or should I say a big percentage of the church don't know who Jesus is? Because they're preaching a different gospel
Simon Pinchbeck:preaching differently. Yeah, yeah. And they don't recognize
Reverend Ben Cooper:the power of the name of Jesus. So demonic force here is a strong force, humanity could not chain him. But he ran to Jesus, he fell at Jesus's feet, and said, Jesus, you are the son of most high God, in God's name, don't torture me. This, this demonic force knows the power of God. He knows the authority that is before him,
Simon Pinchbeck:and not just one demonic force. 2007. So they all know
Reverend Ben Cooper:what Jesus said to him, come out of this man. Now this is a very important part that we've we've hit. You are an impure Spirit come out of this man. So this is what we've been saying earlier, that the spirit world has to use the vehicle of a human being to get their physical deeds done. So Christ just cause he says, come out of this man, you in pure spirit, an impure spirit. Then it goes on and Jesus asked him, What is your name? My name is Legion, he replied, for we are many. And he begged Jesus, the spirits should be better. Again, you because you are loaded with Word. Get that anxiety out your mind, get that frustration fear. I know it's easy, you're probably saying it's easy for you. But I've suffered with anxiety and worry and depression and done all that. And I realize that it's an outward press and when the outward press tries to get within, you know, there is so much more to get from this but I just want to tell you encourage you now, tell that demonic force to go at the name of Jesus. Jesus said, What is your name? He said, We are legion for we are many who replied. And he begged Jesus again and again not to send him out of that area. territory
Simon Pinchbeck:massively and just before we go on to the next one, I mean, I don't know if we're going to cover all what we have. Because we're really going deep here but when you got when, you know, you've got the authority, Ben. Yeah, you know, I even would say to anyone who's listening out there you know, if you're going into a hotel room before you actually yet just you know, pray out anything that's in there just a simple pray you know, Father anything that's in this room that's that's not a view. You know, the big guys territory territory. Yeah, take him back you your territory because that's when we explain that, didn't we? And in a previous podcast called taking back your off acre, the enemy wants territory. Yes, territories give the territory all the time. And he's looking for historical territory, territory that when great things have happened, great. And so you are territory to the to the enemy. You know, when I've done many, many talks in prison, you know, after coming out of prison, now, we just sat down, prayed, Father, take off anything that's attached to because there can be a transference of spirits. So when you're when you're dealing with someone who's maybe in that deep depression, or you've got a real fear of anxiety, cover yourself in the blood. Yeah, yes, come yourself in the blood by simple prayer and not been said, this might sound a little bit off the water. But this is simple precautions you can make, because you've got the authority of Jesus Christ in you. Yeah. And you can you can cut yourself in this is like a protection. Yeah, yeah, we started that forcefield, where it just bounced off, you know, and asked for the protection of Jesus Christ before you go into any way for him to be with you. And us, it's only just with that relationship with Jesus Christ, that we can do that. And Ben, isn't it
Reverend Ben Cooper:It is, it is only with Jesus Christ. And also this is this is really interesting that this demonic force that is speaking with Christ with Jesus, at the at this area, who said, Don't send us out of this area, and he was only able to leave that area, and he was only able to go into that herd of pigs when Christ gave permission. See, demonic forces can't do anything without the permission. Then we talk about job, the attack on job life, you know, when when Lucifer was was going back on for fun, God allows certain things. So we're treading in quite deep areas at the moment when we're talking about spiritual, a spiritual press, because there is nothing outside of God's eyesight or framework or plan for you that he's not aware of. So if you are under a spiritual demonic press, the key to this is just speaking very clearly and very powerfully to the spiritual entity that is trying to capture you. Because Jesus said, get out of it. out, Get behind Me, Satan
Simon Pinchbeck:didn't listen, listen to what Ben's saying because he's bang on point. You know, Jesus didn't go into a whole rigmarole of Latin prayers. And

So if you are not believing, yeah, in the authority of Jesus, if you're not believing in the promises of God, yeah, then all this stuff is gonna come into into your life and it's gonna, you know, so like the next one we're going to come in I think we can probably deal with it quite quickly is the fear of lack. So the fear of losing at all really and that's that's a big one for a lot of people because during their lifetime, the amount of they might have may have amounted to a few quid so much possession. So

Simon Pinchbeck:good that's a good thing. Then salvation you've come onto because many Christians are not many Christians. I know. one of their biggest fears is losing their salvation. Yeah, it was
Reverend Ben Cooper:Hang on a moment, we're never going to address this one. Because this topic, if you are saved, the deal has been done. The ransom has been paid one price once and for all, you cannot lose your salvation because if that was the case, I've lost it many times. But it's a gift, the gift has come from the giver of the gift,
Simon Pinchbeck:I think many people are not truly saved.
Reverend Ben Cooper:The question is, is are you saved to start with now, that can be quite a fearful thing to even think about itself. Now, if you are listening to this, and whenever you listen to this, salvation doesn't come through the preacher and the teacher calling you an X time and we might have a record somewhere in our mind of saying, it was at that Billy Graham time I went and I decided Jesus called you before the foundations of the world. What it means is when an altar call is given and when this happens on when your earth suit recognizes that there is a holy God, not you decided to follow him is that he decided to save you from the wretchedness of hell. That's what it is about your you are saved. If you are trembling now if you are thinking about a you are saved, if you are looking at your own mortality, God is working on you, you might not have decided to follow Jesus. And it might sound like I've gone backwards. When I say decided you might even be thinking I'm not going to church, I'm not doing it. I'm not doing that. God will put you in a church, God will draw you you can't run and you can't hide. Jonah tried that. He tried to run and God brought a holy storm God will bring things to your life to my life to get what my attention your attention. So the devil is not always chasing your tail.
Simon Pinchbeck:It's not always chasing your tail. And here's the deal, you're not that important to him that he's on your case all the time. Now, he will leave something with you for you a message for you, for you to to to occupy you in the corner. So he really you know, you're no threat to him. But he's on to someone else. So it leaves your spirit or something with you. And you're wrestling with that. It's not always the devil. But if you're worried about your salvation, and the fear of losing that salvation, well, you know, if we go into Romans, yeah, which if we look at the view, if you look at the books of the New Testament, apart from the Gospels, Romans, you could probably call Romans, like the Himalaya mountain. But if you look at Romans eight, yeah, that's probably Everest in it. So yes. So we look at Romans 837 through 30. He says this, he says, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loves you, like you said, you know, we're not claiming that we're more than conquerors only through Him who loved us. And he goes on to say, and you notice, he says, For I have persuaded that neither death nor life, not angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, and principalities or powers what you're talking about this morning, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which you think wow, Jesus our lord.
Reverend Ben Cooper:nothing can separate you assignment me and new brothers and sisters on the other side of this, our voices today. The demonic forces are trying to entice and trying to tell you, you're worthless, and you're going to lose it, you're not going to lose anything because everything that we're looking at is meaningless. The most important thing on earth amongst us is our salvation, and you can't lose it. And remember what romans eight chapter one says, Romans eight sorry, verse one says, there is now no condemnation for those that are in Christ Jesus because they are the enemy will drive the condemnation, he will tell you, you're worthless, but there is now no condemnation for those that are in Christ Jesus, my sins, your sins. Simon sins have been now to the cross of Calvary. The Blackboard is clear because of the blood of Jesus. Demons will run at the name of Jesus. Demons run they have to flee. Look at that text that we flicked up. Look at the scriptures we've been talking about. Jesus didn't do a deal with anyone. Jesus didn't shout these Jesus all he said, in the wilderness in the desert place after fast in 40 days and 40 nights, the enemy will try and catch you when you're at your weakest when you're physically weak and tired but greater is He that is me than he that is at the world. And all Jesus said what I've said that wrong, but it is the only way that I can say it. It is written. It is written three times. We didn't hear Christ jumping up and down shouting and hollering. He just says it is written. If you are being faced, as Simon said with anxiety, worry depression, fear your worry Worried about money, you're worried about mortgage, just say to speak to the bank balance? You're not going to capture me anymore. I don't need money because my God shall supply all my needs according to his riches in glory, God is going to make a way where there is no way I'm not going to allow the demonic forces to press me because nothing can separate me from the love of Christ Jesus. Romans eight that Simon read, you are more than a conqueror. Simon, can you bring this to a finish? Because I will impress him? Yeah, we're pushing we are
Simon Pinchbeck:pushing now. And I really think then that you you ended it on it was just that that passage there was absolutely amazing. But we, we came to the table, we're going to talk about different spirits. And we've only really talked, we've talked about it, we've talked in depth about it. So next time, Ben, we're going to talk about probably the different spirit of rejection and the fear that that's because the all this stuff needs to be addressed. That's the truth. But we're gonna leave it today because we've really gone over a little bit over time is taken, but it's been some great stuff coming out today. And I want to pray for you out there. If you are feeling fearful of anything in particular, then then just speak to that fear and, and speak to that demonic spirit and say, leave me now in Jesus name, and go to the Florida cross. And if if you got to do that, every hour on the hour or whatever till that's, that's finished then that's what you got to do. Get into your word. I'll pray for you now that you're strapping yourself with your Word, the Word of God, the Lord led to the right scripture, the right word to say over your life. And we we just lift you up now wherever you are, whether you're on your park bench, in your bed, on your sofa, in the car, listen to this, wherever you are we private a protection over you and and a strengthening of your spirit.
