Reverend Ben Cooper:

Well, good morning. It's coffee and prayer. Good morning, everybody. God bless you, wherever you are today across the world. May God strengthen you and be with you and guide you, by the hand of the Lord always be upon you. This is coffee and prayer, we're taking a few moments out of the busyness of life, just to gather around the word of God, you know, and as we break bread as we take communion together, wherever you are across the world, we thank you to those that are gathering on the online streaming service right now. And we thank you so much for all those that share the services out we're absolutely just blown away with the amount of people that join us for these online streaming services. And also those that listen to the podcast a week later down the line of technology. We thank you so so much, much, much, much. I'm getting tongue tied, because, you know, I'm always speaking, my mouth is always rambling. But let's say hello to everybody on the line. Good morning. Good morning. Good morning, everybody. It's lovely to see you this morning. May God strengthen you and bless you and to all the podcasters out there that listen to this stuff back across the globe. May God bless you and strengthen you and guide you in your life, your work your home, your relationships, everything about your life, may you feel the presence of the Holy Spirit. And we just say good morning. Good morning. Hello, everybody. Come on, everyone's jumping online. We're in. We're in Let's go. I've got a word. I've got a word that has been really pressed on my heart this morning. And actually, to be fair, it's been with me for probably a number of weeks and the word is light. It sets all the activities here at the church has been going on and and obviously the season that we are in is in winter time, Autumn coming through into deep the depths of the dark days. And obviously as we're seeing the darkness across the world, as well as spiritually, and as we see everything happening now, I've added that word just light on that word light. It's very interesting how it's just literally brought me more light. You know, he says I am the light of the world. And it since all the activities that have been going on here regarding the major refit. And the refurbishment that we're having here at Elim church in Swanley is that the reliant on like how much power there is in electricity, how much power there is an energy and how much power there is in light and the other week just so you can grab a understanding where I am on this. We had the scaffolders in, we covered the building, and we covered it in a sheet into protect it and all that stuff that goes with it, and then I put the lights up. And then I flipped the lights on then I went back down a road and I looked back and I suddenly realized how vast the darkness is across the expanse of the globe. But the light was greater than the darkness. So if you feel that you are surrounded by darkness, light is within this morning. You know God is with you. God is with you wherever you are this morning light is so great and light is so powerful. You know I've I've always gonna have you might have seen on social media feeds that I've been putting some posts upon about the power of light it it has, it has really given me a revelation of how powerful light is, you know, the scientists are very make it very clear that darkness only exists because of the absence of light. And when I flipped that switch on and stood back and walked up the avenue, where the churches and turn round and look back, I suddenly realized the power there is in life. So powerful, so powerful. So we might be surrounded by the darkness that's happening across the world, we might be surrounded by the spiritual darkness. But if you are a believer in Christ Jesus, you carry light because he says, I am the light of the world. And if he says I am the light of the world, and if he says and that Christ says in Genesis chapter one, and God said, Let there be light, and we clearly understand through the word that that Christ is the image of the invisible God and we know the Word became flesh, and we understand that we are saved by by the power of the gift of salvation. And if we clearly know that greater is He that is living in me what is in me, light, there is power. There is an anointing and I'm not trying to lift us up to be little gods like certain ministers and preachers do we are not that but what we carry is greater than the darkness that is out there. You know, God is with you where Wherever you are today I just pray I just pray that you clearly see the power of the light of of the world. He says, I am the light of the world. He says, I am the great God, I am the king of kings, I am the Lord of lords. And in Genesis chapter one, it says, God said, Let there be light. And there was. And he says, God saw that the light was good and he separated. That's really interesting. He separated the light from the darkness. So there is a clear separation. We see this in physics, we see this in the spoken word we see in the spiritual realm, that light is stronger than darkness, darkness cannot overpower. Light, light is so strong and so powerful. You only got to think of a little firefly that comes into a dark room, a tiny spark, how you are drawn to that light. And God is drawing you this morning. I pray that wherever you are, that God will just reveal His word to you that you are carrying light because you are carrying crisis as I am the light of the world. He is the great I Am in the book of Psalms, Psalms 119. It says Your word is a lamp unto my feet, a light for my path, His Word, His word lights up the way his word, lights up, the sky is his word lights the world up, you know light is so strong. And I just want you to know that there may be darkness on the outside. But if you are a believer in the God of Israel, light is on the inside. Christ is on the inside, you are carrying word, you are carrying power, you are carrying authority, the God that created the heavens and the earth, the god of Genesis, the god of before all time, you are blessed and highly favored. Nothing can separate us from the love from that love, you are chosen. God loves you. But this morning, maybe you've woken up or maybe yesterday, or just now you're just feeling just you know what? This this world at this moment is just too much for me. It just everything is the baggage is just weighing me down. The light is greater than any baggage, he is the king, you're your God is your word, your God is your strength. You know, you can do all things through Christ, everything is possible. Just believe. Never give up in belief. Never give up. I pray this morning, that you will feel the power of the Holy Spirit that you will be at rest in your lives that no matter what is going around, and what is going on on the outside you are carrying light. And I need to be very careful of the language and the way that I've presented this to us because there are other strange religions and cults out there that use this analogy of light, we need to be very careful about what it says about being a gateway and all that sort of stuff and everything that goes on. But I am referring to the God of Israel, you are carrying the God of Israel. And he says, I am the light of the world. And his Word in Psalm 119. He says, My, your word is a lamp unto my feet a light for my path. God is your light. Christ is your light. The word is the light, the word will make away when there seems to be no way because the light is greater than any darkness. You are blessed. You are chosen. You are healed, you are free. You are a son and a daughter of the living God. And as we get into prayer this morning, I just pray that God will reveal His Word through revelation or knowledge that you will feel the love of God, you will feel the power of the Holy Spirit. Even though you may be going through trials and strains and pains, and everything that's going on in your life. You are carrying the power of the glory of God you have been given the gift of salvation. You did not choose salvation, but salvation, spoke and came to you. He came down. He came down from the heaven above us to this earth and he he chose you he chose me doesn't matter about our past. It doesn't matter about now he died on the cross, the King of kings and the Lord of Lords. He is the light of your salvation. He is your rock. He is your God He is your King. And I just invite you this morning just to sit to be still wherever you may be. My God just speak directly into your spirit. His arms are wrapped around you His love is on you and within you. And as I said at the beginning of the service this morning, light is greater than any dark force. Light is so powerful. Darkness actually flees the darkness becomes weaker. When light comes in the darkness seems to fade away. And that is the same when when Christ Christ is with you. You know there is no darkness in you. You are saved You are washed in the blood of Jesus. Come on, let's pray. Let's get in. Let's get into prayer this morning, I invite my brothers and my sisters, wherever you are across the world, to pray for one another. And just to join us this morning. And I just want you to just reflect and just meditate. As another word, we got to be careful on meditate that has been taken and used in so many world and strange occultic practices. But the Bible says that God told Joshua, meditate, day or night on this word, do not let this word depart from your lips. So that is critical for a believer that I trust in His Word. And the greatest investment anyone will ever have is to buy a Bible, grab a Bible, that's the only book that we need is the living word of God. Let's pray Father This morning you are the light of the world. You are the King of kings and You are the Lord of lords and father we sit in this recording studio, we sit at work we walk dear god down the avenue of life, Father we are together, Lord as brothers and sisters when might not be connected physically but Lord, we are with one another in the kingdom of God and wherever we are listening to this podcast wherever we are on this live stream service today, we thank You Father, that we are in the kingdom of God and this morning Lord I pray for anyone that's carrying worry, anyone that's carrying baggage anyone Father God that just feels that they are consumed by the outside environment. I pray Father that you will break all the tightness of life and Lord as the next few weeks the run up to Christmas I pray Lord that you will take the weight off of parents grandparents, those that are married those that are single those Father God that are worried about their job that father everything that's coming across the channel, Atos everything, Father, that's and we're referring spiritually, Lord, everything that is surrounding us at this moment. Father, we thank you right now that the heavens are charged are filled with the glory of God. And we thank you that no satanic activity can, Lord, grab us in the name of Jesus because Lord, we are covered in the blood. And this morning, Lord, we thank you Lord, the greater is He that is in me. And he that is in the world, we thank you that our names are stamped in the Lamb's book of life. We thank You that light is greater than any darkness. And Lord, we thank You that wherever we walk, Father, darkness goes at the name of Jesus, there is power in the greatest name in heaven on earth. We thank you that God gave him the name. Wonderful, Counselor, Prince of Peace. Emmanuel, God with us. Come on. Come on brothers and sisters, you know, we belong to the kingdom of God. You know, we may have had a few run ins with in religion, we may have had a few run ins in churches, but you know what we're above all that. We're above all that now we're in the kingdom of God. We've always been in the kingdom. But you know, the worldly church has been trying to pin us down you are free this morning. To the sunsets free is free indeed, you are not chained to religion. You are not chained to chain to a cultic activity you are free from your past. You are free from what lies ahead of you because everything is now to the cross of Calvary. And he says I am the light of the world. Come on brothers and sisters let's press in this morning Let's really get let's get get further let's say God stripped me back Lord stripped me back of everything. And Lord and he more of you like never before father I need You. Lord, I'm hungry. Have you ever got to a position in your life where you feel so hungry? You almost feel empty because hunger stirs you know, being hungry for God. And I pray this morning, wherever you are, as well as you join us for this online streaming service. You know, God will reveal His word to you. I'm just gonna let the let the brothers in the room just continue this morning.

Glenn Walsh:

Just started talking. Yes, my friend. Yeah, a couple of minutes before that. I was looking at Isaiah 60. And it did make me think if you walk into a room, you don't chase the darkness out you turn the light on. Amen. Yeah. Well, Isaiah 60 God speaks Yeah, rise, shine for your lightest come a man and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you. Yes, Lord, behold, darkness shall cover the earth. And I think darkness the peoples and isn't that where we are? The world has this thick darkness upon it. Yeah. I've heard there's a new religion that I will not be part of that strips people of their identity. Oh, and it says your identity is fluid. You're not really this that or the other that come on? Yeah, the truth is, I am who God says I am. Yeah, in that I get an identity that is so affirming. We are the children of God. We are we have adopted which chosen we made claim. The heads come and there is no place to hide hallelujah for thick darkness is covered the page But the Lord will have eyes on you. Yes and his glory will be seen upon you. And nations shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising vices people have shined for you. You are the light of the world through Jesus, Leah's father, your eyes all around and say, they all gather together and come to you. Yes, father. Now this is a promise for us that we pray, your sons shall come from afar, and your daughters shall be carried on the hip. Then you shall see and be radiant, your heart shall thrill and exalt praise to further for those who we love those in our household who are not walking with you, who have put on the blanket of the darkness of the world. I want to thank you that you send your word that you will carry them from afar, you will call them from a file, amen. Lords, I'd find that that light the night of your gospel, the light that we have in us, the one that lights up, even our dark corners, praise God for them is nowhere safe from your love. Lord, I pray that you would reach those that are far. Yes Lord, call them back to yourself as Doris God come and move in revival where power in our households through the church, not on Friday at the church again, will be the place where your gospel is preached. A place where the repentant find forgiveness, Lord, honor, thank you for this Gospel of Life. Yes, and that we have identity in you, even your son when he was baptized, heard your voice from heaven saying, This is my son, praise God. And in him I am well pleased in him. I am well placed. Thank you for identity in you, Lord, thank You that we can know who we are. And the world is so full of insecurities. They don't even know their left hand from their right. Left can't be called left anymore. Right can't be called right anymore. How insane is that? Thank you, Jesus for the sanity of your kingdom. You that rock of salvation, on which we stand.

Donny Stockburn:

Amen. Oh, man, yeah. Oh, Jesus, Father, God, just wanna read you the 23rd song God's been really given me a blessing on that one. And just a few facts that help us to understand this love of God we're talking about. And David wrote these words, but God is the author. Because it was written for all Gods shape. So our old time until he returns as a good thing to understand that and this Psalm is a picture of our journey through life with Jesus, the Great Shepherd. The overriding message I've written down here, is telling us that the shepherd will never leave us, or that's a complex.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Thank you, Lord,

Donny Stockburn:

I'll stand on that day or night Lewis Lord at the shepherd will never leave us. That's confirmed in John 1011 to 29. If you want to read about that as well, and that the shepherd knows his sheep. He knows the inside of us. And he knows the outside of us. Yes, he knows we need rest and restoration in our minds, and souls and spirits as well as our bodies. He is the shepherd, but is also the owner. I love that as well. He owns me, he purchased me with his blood. Oh, Lord, I just stand on these these truths. Father God, I pray that you will release them into all people, everyone who's suffering Lord, we've been tormented with lies and yeah, buts. And if this and if that, Father God, this is your word, Lord, we just pray. He will narrow it down in us a foundation of our understanding of where our lives are coming from Lord and where the power comes from Father God comes from you the Great Shepherd, and Lord and you're responsible. You are responsible for bringing us home safely. Yes, this is not just for now, this is forever. This word says it's forever. And I won't just want to take you're not gonna read it down there. But I'll just want to take you to verse four. And it says Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death. I think we've all done a bit of that. Oh, yes. That means really your very worst fear. Your very weakest point. It says that when you get there, I'll be with you. Thank you, Jesus. Like they're, the shepherd will be with us right in that place. In the scariest place. I've had fears in my life, that that I've just never ever dreamed that I could get out of it. Until I understood Jesus really, really is with May. It's not a word and a comfort. It's a truth. It's a foundational truth that God wants us to understand that the shepherd will never leave us. And just take you on a little bit more down to a verse five, first five years, it says You, You prepare a table before, before me in the presence of my enemies, this is a bit I love, and You anoint my head with oil. I just had a picture of a pot of oil being poured over my head. But it means much more than that. This is what it means. It's God's blessing on us for our entire lives with his Spirit, so that our cup overflows, you're running God's Spirit is on us. We're running our entire life, and the shepherd is with us. In all our greatest fears don't matter what they are. They're different in each person, often, but those fears those dreads, those things that you you just can't shake off. You're not on your own, ever, again, not for one second, God's promises as a shepherd will never leave us alone, which is thank for that, Lord, I asked you now in Jesus name for all, Lord, that they will understand the fundamental truth that you had written here in that 23rd Psalm and plenty of other places as well, Lord, that we would understand that this relationship with Jesus is not we're on our own and up, you make it to get to heaven. He's with us now. This very minute, this day. Jesus has promised He would not leave us. And in that John 10 He says, Nothing will ever be able to steal us away from him. Do you believe that? Yeah, we do. We trust it. Lord, we trust it. Word is a lot under our lives. Nothing can change it. No power, no, no anything. It's unchangeable, unapproachable truth, law which is rest our souls on it, Lord, now, wherever we are, we praise Jesus at your break in to that fear. And remind us of this truth that you will always be with us. Always Lord, and I ask this in Jesus name. Amen.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Amen. Thank you for Thank You, Holy Spirit, Lord, the stillness, the quietness, Lord, Father, we just rest in you, you are the light of the world. You are the God of all hope. You are the great I Am you are the beginning you are in the end. You spoke this world into being and Lord we pray, Lord, that You will just draw us deeper into your presence that you will keep drawing us in Lord that this morning, Lord, Father, the grittiness of life, Father, the humdrum of everything, Father, the spiritual atmosphere around us, Lord, we thank You that light is so strong and so powerful, Lord, that your word father is is ever lost. Amen. We thank You for Your Word, father is all power is all glory for that you are worthy of all praise. And this morning, Lord, I pray that you will draw all of us deeper into our walk with you that we will go deeper into our relationship with the Father that You will keep drawing us Lord, where it find where we find ourselves in a in a bit of an unusual situation in the circumstances of life, Lord, continue to use and to melt us and to mold us through the situations that we're in. As Danny said, and as the word correctly says, and as done, read from that even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil sisters and brothers. My companions in this room today we are on a walk for each and every one of us is on a journey, a journey with the Messiah and he called us to the journey of life. He created us for the journey of life he brought us into existence he he he brought us to this place for His good pleasure and his good will so everything is in his hands. Yes, he is in control of everything. As the word says he is the shepherd he is the door he is the bread of life. He is the great I Am and we only got a look in the Gospel of John to find the seven items but even in the Old Testament, where Moses said who's sending me who send in us then I am I am the I Am Who created us The I Am is with you the I am knows there's financial strain the I am knows there's marital issues the I am noses troubling Church, the iron nose is issues with the children the IRS knows everything that goes on in our lives the I am knows that there's issues at work the great I Am brought us into existence and when I clearly can grab a bit of an understanding on creation. Thank you, Lord, that He created He is the Creator He is the God that said, let there be light. He is all power. He is all glory. He is all suffering. He is all love. He is all rough. He is all the God that he says that he is Jehovah Jireh, Jehovah Nissi, Jehovah Shala. He's your apprentice on pace. He's Jarrell. He will guide you in the valley of uncertainty because he knows that valley. He will. He will let you rest at the mountain. Yes, well, you know, we've only got a look at the profit of old you know, when he was at the top of the mountain, he was praying for rain, he was praying, he was praying he was Brian, it's so important to continue to pray, continue to pray, continue to pray, even at the top of the mountain, midway on the mountain, in even at the base of the mountain, when you've got everything breaking out, we got to give him praise. And if I can just grasp just a small amount of creation, because without creation, it rocks everything else apart. In my belief system, I got to understand that God said, Let there be light. And that was it. I got to understand that God's created the heavens and the earth in their fullness there is I've got to clearly understand that He spoke this world into being and he spoke everything into being He is the Creator, He created the stars, the heavens, the atmosphere, he created our DNA, and He is the light of the world. And he said, Let there be light. Let there be Jesus. Let there be power, let there be authority. Light is greater than the darkness at the very beginning of Genesis, chapter one, verse three, we see clearly the spoken word in existence already. Let there be light. Come on Christ said I am the light of the world. I am the great I Am before before we even came, humanity came into existence, light was already at work. Correct. The Redemption plan is here clearly in Genesis right at the start, let there be light. What does Christ say? I am the light of the world, the first line, the first part of creation, let there be light. And it says and there was light interest, isn't it? He don't say let there be darkness. He says Let there be light. And there was light, God saw that the light was good. And he separated the light from the darkness. Spiritually separating, physically separating, speaking, he just speaks and darkness shifts, he speaks and light comes into existence. He speaks and atoms move he speaks and DNA becomes you are a child of the living God. And when I can really get a bit of a foundation or point a bit of a foothold in Genesis, when I clearly understand he said, Let there be like, oh my goodness, you are you are loved unconditionally. God loves you so much. We're just praying and praying and praying. You know, I feel a bit gritty this morning. If I if I'm perfectly honest, I feel a little bit strange this morning. I just feel a little bit of point. That's just because that's just life, you know, but God is moving. We got to be real, you know, I ain't got my church teeth in the day ain't got me happy teefin. But I know that God is with us. You know, God is moving very powerfully. And it's so so so important for us to understand that the journey that we are on, he already knows the journey. He has created the heavens and the earth. You know, we come into communion in about probably 10 minutes or so. We're gathering around the mics. We're gathering together, we're we're in your lives. We're in your homes, we're in your workspace. We are together because we are part of the Kingdom of God. Religion was broken when Boris turned the key. Hallelujah, Jesus, thank you for turning that key. Thank you that everything changed. There was a switch there was a change. And that that was ordained that was gonna happen no matter what. And it was a blessing that the key on religion was turned. But the kingdom Jesus was still moving. The kingdom is always moving. We belong to the kingdom. We belong to the kingdom. If man can turn a key on a door and he keeps that building shot. That's man building. But God is moving. God can walk through walls. Yeah, we see it. We've heard it We understand that God is is of a different dimension he is. He is beyond the atoms. He is beyond the fabric. He is beyond time. He is even now sitting on the circle of the earth. He is. He is already in the future. NASA and all the great space stations around the world are trying to find life but you've just got to look in the Word.

Donny Stockburn:

There is live your promise

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Your promise. Brothers and sisters. Come on brothers and sisters. It's okay. Everything is alright. Everything is okay. Lord, just deal with our minds deal with our mind today, Lord do about thinking do about computing, because, Lord, we are carrying light. And we're not referring to the stranger cultic wording out there. We are carrying light because He is the light of the world. And he chose us and He saved us and he has set us free and he is the living word. Come on. We're in today, around

Glenn Walsh:

55 Eight, for my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither of my ways. Your ways, declares the Lord. So I'll start from verse six. So this is our desire 55 From verse six, Seek the Lord while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near. And Jesus said For a man who seek find it's a promise from the Lord, while he may be found, called upon him while he's near he is near. Let the wicked forsake his way. And the unrighteous man his thoughts. Let him return to the Lord, that He may have compression on him and to our gods, for he will abundantly pardon you. abundantly pardon. So you may be thinking today you don't know what I've done. You don't know how bad I am. You don't know where I'm starting from. I'm so different. God understands. He just said, when he abundantly pardons. And this is in context of Isaiah 55, eight, for my thoughts are not your thoughts. Neither are my ways, your ways, declares the Lord. It's flooding on from that. When we forgive, we do it begrudgingly. We get the amp. We put conditions. Yes, God's so different. He's thoughts are not our thoughts. And these ways are not our ways. For as the heavens are higher than the earth. so are my ways higher than your ways? And my thoughts higher than your thoughts? Praise God. Yeah, Lord, I want to thank you for your gospel of grace, yes, and mercy, freedom, we can come to you no other way with all our baggage, all our luggage, all of our filled thought of our mistakes or the Savior. Not even the apostle Paul, also known as soul was your enemy hated you. And his ambition was to destroy the church. And yet you called him and had mercy on him. And when he realized your love and your grace, and your empowering through Your Holy Spirit, he became a world changer. And your light shone through him and still doubts today. So Lord, we want to thank you that Your ways are not like our ways. There's so much greater, so much higher. Men and you love to give grace, mercy and forgiveness. abundantly. Yeah, abundantly. Oil, Lord, we don't come into your kingdom Steiners we come in washed by the blood of the land made purely on whiter than the snow. Thank you, Jesus, that we can stand in your presence clothed in your righteousness, none of our own, all about him. I want to thank you, Lord, that you have done it. You're the king. You are indeed Lord, your king as Savior and our friend, to seek the Lord while He is near. For everyone who seeks finds everyone and to all who knock, Jesus promised the door will be opened to you. And you get a rich welcome into the kingdom of God. Yes, no party of Heaven rejoices over the righteous over every sinner who repents party for you. Thank you, even though you don't deserve it. Thank you, Jesus. Just receive His love. We see these forgiveness, receive His mercy be made known through the blood of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Amen. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you Holy Spirit. Peace, Lord, thank You for peace. Thank you for your sovereignty. Thank you, Jesus. Thank You, Holy Spirit. Just resting you today Lord. Lord, thank You Jesus the stillness Lord. Father, you are sovereign. You are Majesty, you are the great iron, you're the Lion of Judah. You're worthy of full price. You're sovereign. You're our Redeemer. Your ways are just your way always draw us into the Lord, through the the complicated ways of life. We thank You, Lord, that You are our navigator. Father, you are the wind in our sails Father, You, Father God are all the light in the darkness. You are dear God, carrying us right now. Lord, the steps of a good man are ordained by the Lord. The steps farther, the pathway is already there for US law. Jeremiah 29, For I know the plans I have for you, declares, declares the Lord. He knows the plans. He's written the plan. He spoken the plan into being and you're wrapped up in his plan. You're wrapped up in his arms, you're wrapped up in his love, you're wrapped up in His sovereignty, you're wrapped up and washed in the blood of Jesus, you're wrapped up in him. We are slaves to righteousness. We have been bought with a price. Thank you, Jesus. Thank You, Jesus. Thank You, Holy Spirit. Thank you, Lord. Come Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord.

Andy Hammond:

talking about light this morning, and lots of references down light of who Jesus is the light of the world. And way back with King David, one of the greatest kings in our Bibles. And he said in two Samuel 23, verse 29, you are my lamp. Oh, Lord, no, you hold turns my darkness into light. Thank you, Jesus. And with your help, I can advance against the truth with my God. I can scale a war.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Thank you, Jesus.

Andy Hammond:

God, his way is perfect. The word of the Lord is flawless. He is a shield for all who take refuge in him. Or her is God besides the Lord, and who is the rock except our God. It is God who arms me with strength and makes my way perfect. So Father, Who is that you? You are God. You are perfect. You lighten our past. You show us away. Thank you, Father. That you give us strength?

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Yes, father.

Andy Hammond:

When we feel weak, we come to you. And you make us feel strong.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Thank you, Jesus.

Andy Hammond:

Thank you, Father. Holy Spirit. Oh, that all those? I am Sir. We've mentioned in John's Gospel. And I heard just a short while ago that a comment on John's Gospel is we get the first half of John's gospel with the items. But the second part of John's gospel is called the Book of glory

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Thank you.

Andy Hammond:

When you turn to John's gospel, my thoughts turn to the crucifixion. And that's where the glory comes in. Because of what Jesus did go into the cross and dying. That was glorious. Thank you. So Father, we thank You that we can come into relationship with you. So Jesus your son, for what he accomplished and for what he did glorious thing just go into the cross just dying for us. He could have pleaded innocence. He could have stood down from the cross. Because he should have some But he chose to die. Oh, man. But the glorious thing is that he rose again. Well, as we approach Christmas, where we're praying about his glory, and Harry died, not about his birth. But maybe that's right for today. Yes, Lord, that we think about your death and your resurrection. Because that's how you draw us closer to the Father. How you've, well, you've given us permission to come to you. Well, how marvelous that is to be in a relationship with our God, the Creator God, the One True God is no one like here. It's the song says, there's no one like, marvelous. Thank you, Father. And the other thoughts were that just about the love that we should has, as followers have three for each other. My thoughts turn to love and unity amongst fellow believers, because that's how the world will melt us. Yes. That's how the world will see us. Do we love each other? Do we work together? So Father, we ask that you pour out your love on our communities. Yes, Lord. All right, that love that is so infectious, that is so apparent that it will be like a glove. As we step out, our front doors each day that love will go with us. Yes, father, but there will be a glow about us that will be infectious that others people will want to know will be inquisitive. And yeah, that the love is so infectious that I talk about being infectious. I immediately sold about the virus that we still battling. Yeah, and even maybe another strain coming washes in the blood. But Father, your love is more powerful. Your love is so strong. And we do stand against this virus. Father, we pray against it now. Your powerful name, Yes, Lord, pray, Father, that you will drive it back. You will be with each one of us. We thank You, Father, that we can stand on the love of Jesus, we thank You that we can advance we can advance like a trope.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Amen. Yeah.

Andy Hammond:

As a as an army, an army of believers, we thank You, Father God. And as it was in the Old Testament, when the armies went out to battle, we can praise you, they worshiped you. So we worship you Jesus this morning. Because you are God that you call us, your friends. That's amazing as well, isn't it? Your Lord? God calls us his friends. We thank you that we can do nothing without you. That we have to perfect rely only rely on you because of who you are. So Father, I thank you for my brothers here this morning. I pray for each one, that they will stand strong that your spirit will fill them afresh with your power with your love. But they will have the strength to stand a man the strength here

Donny Stockburn:

so thank you. We do we will.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Oh yeah, yes. Yeah. Sandy was praying and sharing them scriptures. It this this really bubbled in my heart, you know, be still and know that I'm God. And and he said about standing to be strong. And as we know, as the book of Joshua says, Be strong and be of good courage. I believe this is really important for us as believers in the Word of God, that we be strong, we be still one know that he's God, Lord, give us Godly wisdom. Lord, give us Father clear word for our lives. Help us to be still in the storm. You know, we've been battered for the last few days with storms. We're hearing a lot, you know, but that that is the spiritual atmosphere as well, what's happening. The world is in a spiritual storm, the the pressure, the the intensity in the heavenly realms, but the battle is already been won. The battle belongs to the Lord. Whatever storm you are in. God is protecting you. There is a fiery hedge around you. We're coming to the table very, very soon. And we're just going to break bread. We've taken a cup together. And we're going to be still together, and we're going to rest together. And I pray that God I say, Lord, we increase our faith this morning. Will you dare God, increase your presence amongst us, Lord, will You increase so we just feel the glory of the Lord in us upon us and around us just increase? Let there be an increase today, Lord, let there be an increase of faith let there be an increase of your glory, your love your sovereignty, father, you are always here you are always with us. But Lord, can we just feel that the press or the master the Masters hands, we're on the will. Where are we are on the will, the will of life, we're on the potter's will. And he is molding and shaping. And as we come to the table, as we just be still and know that he's got his we break bread together. We take the cup together, we rest together. You know, let's give him everything that the power of just saying to God, Father, I come to you father with a repentant heart, Lord, and I asked that you will forgive me and wash me and cleanse me that this will be a date a great day, because this is the day that the Lord has made. I shall rejoice and be glad I'm rejoicing. Because my God said, Let there be light and rejoicing. Because of the redemption plan. I'm rejoicing because there's hope and rejoicing because of the word is sharper than a double edged sword. I'm rejoicing because he loves me. I'm rejoicing because all things are possible to those who believe I'm rejoicing this morning, because there's a miracle. This, the presence of the Holy Spirit is with you today. He is your counselor. He is your counselor, He is the great iron. He is your God. You are not alone. We're going to break bread together. Now we're at that place. We're at that place today. They got just give you the stillness that you require. As the stones are brewing across the world, financial storms, political storms, earthly storms, family storms, business storms, all storms are breaking out. What we see through nature is a reflection of what's happening in the spiritual realms. We're hearing the storms, the storms, the storms. But God has everything. He knew exactly where this latest storm would come from. He knew exactly where it would start. He created the heavens and the earth. The weather system is at its obedience to His voice. He speaks and the wind moves. He speaks and the stars shine he speaks and the rain force. He speaks and snow flakes come into existence. He speaks and humanity comes into being he speaks. And the light comes into being. And he's going to take us to the table. And as we're already there in certain areas, and Donnie will share with the blood of the lamb

Andy Hammond:

what's going to look at passage on Love in one Corinthians 13 You know what it starts at verse four. Love is patient. But I leave that for everyone to have a look at later. Because I'm then drawn to Hebrews 10 Where there's a call to persevere That's, that's a call for each one of us. And I'll take it up from verse 23. It says, Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess our glory, for He who promised his faithful Amen. Let us consider how we may spur one another on towards love and good deeds. That does not give up meeting together. We are in the habit of as we are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another. All the more, as you see the day approaching. So, thank you, Father, that your word reveals so much to us. Yes, look, it is so encouraging. It is so powerful.

Donny Stockburn:

Jesus,

Andy Hammond:

I gave a testament to someone at the weekend. And I said to them, you can have a copy of God's word. But I said, the challenge is that if you read it, it could change your life. Thank you. And in fact, I'm I said, Take this testament, but it's a dangerous book, if you read it. Because your life can be turned around. Amen. And that's the same for us as we get deeper and deeper into God's word he speaks to us. Thank you, father brings us encouragement. He corrects us. He disciplines us. Yes, father, and all those things, just like a good parent, really a man he loves. He has the best for us. And Father as we come together, remembering that great sacrifice that you accomplished for us. Well, we just take this bread as a remembrance for each one of us that your body was broken. But we know that it was to come because you were fully restored. And he rose again. So take this bread.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Amen,

Andy Hammond:

amen.

Donny Stockburn:

Amen. As Andy was speaking about God's word, then what it is, I don't know if you heard me, but word came into my mouth is a love letter for my father. The Word of God, that's what it is, is a love letter for my father, reminding us, telling us teaching us that He loves us so much. He calls us his little flock, is the love of our souls.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Thank you, father.

Donny Stockburn:

He's our great shepherd. And we are his sheep. And I was laying in bed. Thinking about this last night, I think it was and I wondered, what was the difference? What How could you explain what's so different about the shape that belong to Jesus? And it's quite obvious really, but is their sins been forgiven? That's what makes us so different from all others, all other people on the earth, Vice religions wherever God's sheep have their sins forgiven. And the Bible teaches us that if those sins are not removed, we are separate from God, separate from eternal life. So you look around, look at science, look at this, look at that, Israel appeal, that can we move sin? Is a vaccination, that can we move sin is of a scientist, is a clever man is a anyway, that sin can be removed. If I was the nicest guy on this earth. Could that remove my sin? If I if I paid all my wages in for my lifelong, could that remove my sin? Though, there is nothing absolutely nothing that can remove sin, except for the blood of Jesus. That's what makes he shaped so special. They are washed in that blood, a law which is tight as blood now this symbol with it Lord, and we just in our hearts, which is say some way or other We've reached down inside our spirits to find the right words, but it's almost impossible to say thanks for what we've received in order, not just ask but our families. Father God is saved my whole family, even the grandchildren, Lord, been baptized. Thank you know, Father God, what a glorious thing. And this word is 23rd. Psalm Lord says all the days of our lives, I'll be with you. And there, it says, at the end. I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. Amen forever. Thank you, Lord, for this blood in Jesus name. Amen.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Amen. Thank you, Father, forgiveness. I am forgiven. You are forgiven, we are forgiving. The Ransom the price has been paid 30 pieces of silver. But more than that the blood.

Donny Stockburn:

Amen

Reverend Ben Cooper:

is one price one sacrifice once and for all. As the Good Book says so clearly, so clearly. You know, Romans chapter eight verse one, for there is now no condemnation for those that are in Christ Jesus, For what the law was powerless to do. God did. Amen. He sent His Son. He sent the living word. Colossians says that Christ is the image of the invisible God. And the Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us is still the dwelling among you at this moment. He's with you at work. He's with your homies with you and your loneliness. He's with you with your worries and your fears. He's he's actually carrying us. He's got us wrapped up. We're wrapped up in the love of God, sovereignty and His mercy and His goodness. And I'm gonna ask Glenn, if he'll bring us to a close this morning in prayer. As we've had coffee and prayer and very different direction that is gone again. You know, none of this is scripted. None of this is rehearsed. This is just as we feel the prompting of the Holy Spirit as we fill what God is bringing to our hearts. We thank you for joining with us today.

Donny Stockburn:

Yeah, thank you.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

We thank you so much for everyone in the world of podcasting that listens 1000s of downloads across the world. Everybody online this morning, we thank you for your life. We know God is with you. We know God is with you. Because if he can be with me, he certainly can be with you. If he can save me, he certainly has saved you. If he has chosen me, he has certainly chose you, Glenn.

Glenn Walsh:

Yeah, so in closing, we've heard that it's all about the blood. The Bible also says when you think you're standing firm, be careful you do not fall. And as I as 64 Six says, a righteous deeds are like filthy rags or another translation is like a polluted garment. So please, doesn't come on our ability. It does not come on our performance. It's not about how good we're doing. Don't ever let your peace settle on that. Because that's fleeting. But the blood of Jesus or moon, the blood of Jesus, it's paid. It's secure. Only by the blood. Yes. So Lord, I want to thank you for purchasing us. I want to thank you for dying for us. On a Thank You, Lord, that nothing can snatch us out of your hand. No angel, no demon, no height, no depth, not past, not present or future can separate us from the love of God, that sing Christ Jesus. Thank you for your rent. Some thank you for your pledges in. Thank you that you chose us to be holy, blameless in your sight, not by our performance. But before the creation of the world. Yes, Lord, thank you for your grace and mercy that is given abundantly and I pray that will live in that they will stand on your foundation, not ever for your glory. Amen. Amen.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Amen. Amen. We thank you so much. We thank you so much wherever you are today. And he's just going to share st very, very quickly regarding the Word of God.

Andy Hammond:

Yeah, we've been talking about the Word of God, quite a lot to them. And we and we, as usual, but I've I just say that if you want a copy, get in touch and we make sure you get a copy of his word. New Testament or full Bible if that's what you want.

Reverend Ben Cooper:

Amen. Amen. God bless you. Thank you for listening wherever you are across the earth today. Have a wonderful day in the presence of the Holy Spirit and you are born and you are chosen, and you are a child of the living God. And thank you so much. In Jesus name, amen. Amen.
