Daily Prayer with Reverend Ben Cooper
Daily Prayer with Reverend Ben Cooper is a global daily prayer and teaching podcast rooted in the living Word of God. It exists to bring healing, peace, and prophetic encouragement to people in every nation and every situation. Each episode invites the listener into real prayer—Spirit‑led, Scripture‑anchored, and focused on restoration of the body, mind, and spirit. This is not background devotion; it is an active call to pray, to believe, and to stand on the promises of God when life feels uncertain. Every day, short prayers are released at set times across the world so that someone, somewhere, is always being lifted in prayer. Listeners hear prayer for healing, prayer for anxiety, prayer for breakthrough, prayer for strength, and prayer for peace, all spoken with biblical clarity and prophetic conviction. Each moment is rooted in Scripture and guided by the Holy Spirit, turning verses into living declarations that realign hearts with faith and renew the mind with truth.
Alongside the daily recordings, Reverend Ben offers longer episodes that combine prophetic teaching with extended prayer. These thirty‑ to forty‑five‑minute sessions explore how to pray through Scripture, how to recognise the voice of God, and how to apply biblical principles to everyday life. They include prayer for deliverance, prayer for forgiveness, and prayer for inner healing, reminding believers that God’s power is not distant but active in the present. The tone is pastoral yet bold, inviting believers to move from listening to participation, from fear to faith, from silence to spoken prayer. Each broadcast is designed to help listeners grow in discernment, spiritual strength, and confidence in God’s promises.
Reverend Ben Cooper, a pastor, broadcaster, and communicator known for his integrity and depth, leads the ministry with genuine compassion and prophetic insight. His words carry authority shaped by decades of experience in prayer, preaching, and pastoral care. Through his voice, thousands are reminded that prayer still heals, God still speaks, and the presence of the Holy Spirit is as powerful today as ever. Unshakable: A Daily Christian Devotional Podcast with Reverend Ben Cooper
Episode Title: Living by Faith – A Daily Devotion on 2 Corinthians 5:7
Daily Christian devotional reflection: What do you truly trust—your bank balance, your career, or something far greater? In today’s daily devotional, Reverend Ben Cooper opens God's Word to 2 Corinthians 5:7: “We live by faith, not by sight.” This compact yet powerful verse sits at the center of this daily spiritual reset, inviting you to align your heart with unseen, eternal truths rather than temporal circumstances.
As part of your daily devotion routine, we examine how relying solely on what we see confines us to earthly limitations. Yet faith invites us into divine opportunity. Consider Peter stepping out of the boat (Matthew 14): when his eyes stayed fixed on Jesus, he walked above the roaring sea. This devotional teaches that focus—not fear—is the foundation of spiritual breakthrough.
Hebrews 11:1 answers: “Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Every day, we’re called to build that trust muscle. Whether you're facing financial pressure, relationship hurt, health concerns, or career transitions, this devotional ushers you into divine possibility. God’s provision is not defined by forecasts or failures, but by heavenly abundance that defies logic.
We also anchor today’s message in Isaiah 41:10: “Fear not, for I am with you… I am your God.” This is more than comfort—it’s a spiritual promise: God walks with you daily, meaning your faith can outlive your fear.

Living by Faith, Not Sight
Speaker 1In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we are diving straight into the beautiful book of 2 Corinthians, chapter 5, verse 7, and the scripture is powerful and the scripture is life. What are you looking at at this moment in time? How are you viewing your world around you? I want to encourage you at this moment in time never give up, because the word of God very clearly today in 2 Corinthians, chapter 5, verse 7, and 7 alone, says this we live by faith, not by sight. What a scripture to start the hour. What a scripture to start school. What a scripture to start work, just to start breathing early hours of the morning. The Bible tells us that we live by faith and we want to encourage you right now to walk by faith. Never give up, never allow the circumstances of the world of life to dictate to you how you should be, and never allow fear to overtake faith.
Speaker 1The bible says the just shall live by faith. And we walk by faith, not by sight. Everything that we have in this world, everything around us, is tangible and touchable, but it is of material value. It has no salvation value. It has no heavenly value. The Bible says do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, but store up for yourselves treasures in heaven. I understand that we've got to go to work, we've got to pay the bills, we've got to put food and water on the table. I clearly understand that. But as soon as I start putting a value on the pound or the dollar or the euro or whatever currency I live by, in whatever nation, I start to limit not my God but myself. I cannot put the weight on the finances, I cannot put my life onto the job, I cannot rely on my skill set.
Speaker 1The Bible says the just shall live by faith, and we do not live by sight. We trust in the word of God. The Bible is clear and I want to encourage you right now, just before we go into prayer in just a few moments, that the spirit of the living God is with you today. Wherever you are across this beautiful world, I want to encourage you to live by faith, and that doesn't mean to give everything up and to hand everything over and to sit in the front room and go. Pastor Ben has told me to live by faith, not by sight. So I'm going to sit and I'm going to wait for God to move. No, the Bible says faith and actions go together. So my faith and my action and my moving forward goes together. So I want to tell you this morning God is calling you to trust him. That's what faith is about. So, wherever you are across the corners of the world, whatever your culture is, whatever your lifestyle might look like, I want to encourage you tonight, this morning or this afternoon, whatever your time zone is, just before we go into prayer, to say Father, I ask you right now that I will not look at the value of the currency in my hand or in my bank. I will trust you. My God shall supply all my needs according to thy riches in glory. He will supply, he will make a way.
Prayer for Faith Over Circumstances
Speaker 1The Bible says we live by faith, not by sight. Let's walk by faith, but shall we get into prayer? Wherever you are at this moment in time, I want to encourage you right now as we start this prayer time in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Father, we come to you on this beautiful day, this wonderful evening, this beautiful afternoon. This beautiful day, this wonderful evening, this beautiful afternoon and right now, according to your word, lord, according to 2 Corinthians, chapter 5, verse 7, lord, we are going to live by faith and we are not going to trust our eyesight. Lord, our eyesight will determine that we will never be able to go no further than what we see in front of our eyes. But today, lord, today, this is the day that the Lord has made. I shall rejoice and be glad and, father, we are going to stand on the rock of all ages and we are going to trust in the word of God, because today, lord, we're living by faith. Today, lord, we're trusting you in faith through our healing. Today, we're trusting you in our faith, lord, that bills are being met. Today, we are trusting in our faith in you that mental health disappears at the name of Jesus and the fire of God is burning in our spirit. Come, holy God, come Father, come Jesus, come and set the captives free through this prayer time, through this time of devotional time together as we are gathered across the world.
Speaker 1Lord, god, I ask you today, in the rawness of this recording, in the rawness of this studio within the UK, spirit of the Living God, touch my brothers and sisters around the world today. Help us, lord, not to look what we have in our hands, but what the King has created around us, and my God shall supply all thy needs according to thy riches in glory. Lord, I'm not going to look at the value of the dollar. I'm not going to look at the value of the currency, of the pound, of the sterling, of the euro or whatever currency I live my life by. I'm not going to look at the value of the money. I'm going to look how big my God is. And all things, lord, I declare all things are possible to those who believe, and I believe in miracles.
Speaker 1I believe in miracles today, because this is the day that the Lord has made, I shall rejoice and be glad, and your fire and your glory is leading me to live by faith, because today, lord, I'm not going to live by sight, father, I'm not going to live by sight, I'm not going to trust in my own understanding. Lord, I am going to lean into the word of God and I'm going to step out of this boat. Lord, I'm going to step out and I'm going to walk on this water today because, lord, I hear you calling me and, lord, you're calling me out of the boat of the humdrum of life. And I am going to live by faith. I'm going to dream, I'm going to have a vision, lord, that he's going to carry me across this lake today and, lord, I'm going to walk, lord, on this ocean. And, lord, I'm going to walk, lord, on this ocean and, lord, I'm going to soar on wings as of eagles. Lord, I will not sink, I will rise out of the ashes, because it is by faith we live. I do not live by sight. I do not trust this materialistic world. I do not trust this plastic, fake social media world that we are in. I do not trust this plastic world.
Faith as Substance of Things Hoped For
Speaker 1Lord, I trust in the word of God, spirit of the living God, send your fire to my brothers today, send your fire to the sisters today. Send your glory to the Bible believing believers, lord. I pray that their hearts will brim over with faith, lord, that their minds, lord, will just show them what is capable through the word of God, and it is in the kingdom of God. Today, through this prayer time, this devotional podcast, today, this is the day of victory and I come to you, lord, as a brother standing Lord. I come to you, sister, as a brother standing Lord. I come to you, sister, as a brother. I come to you, god, and my God shall supply all my needs according to thy riches in glory. Lord, I worship you and through my prayer time, through my prayer time with my brothers and sisters across the world, I believe in miracles and I believe that you are healing us. I believe that we are financially free, because who the Son sets free is free. Indeed, lord, through this moment of prayer, will you strengthen us, will you lead us, will you guard us and protect us? We need wisdom, we need godly wisdom. So today, lord, fire us up in our spirit as we face work, as we face school, as we face life, as we commute, as we face life. As we commute, as we're at home, as we're studying, as we're looking for a new job, as we're in hospital or hospice, wherever we are in this world, we live by faith in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. You know, I love this scripture. I love 2 Corinthians 5, verse 7. We live by faith, not by sight.
Speaker 1Everything that I have in front of me in this studio, I believe it is here because my eyes tell me obviously so. As I look at the microphones, I see four microphones. I see a cup of tea. I see Bibles, I see scripts. I see the computer. I see the books. I see everything. I see the microphones. I see four microphones. I see a cup of tea. I see Bibles, I see scripts. I see the computer. I see the books. I see everything. I see the cross. We've got a beautiful cross, we've got sound curtains and we are in a beautiful studio here in the UK. I know it's here because I can see it.
Speaker 1But the Bible says, ben, I want you to go further, I want you to dream and I want you to see things that you never thought that you'd ever see. Now, if you have a Bible, let's quickly turn to Hebrews 11, verse one Now faith is the substance of things. Now, faith is. Now faith is the substance of things. It is the evidence, it is the way forward. Now faith is. Faith is the evidence of things not seen. Now faith is.
Speaker 1Come on, brother and sister, wherever you are across the world, I want you to step out today and trust God like you've never trusted him before. I'm going to do the same thing. I need miracles in my life. Trust me, as I sit here and I record this on this early hours of the morning. I need miracles in my life right now, in the name of Jesus, as we record these daily devotional prayers, daily devotional podcasts and things that we record in this studio right now, off the bat and off the barrel of truth, I need miracles. I need miracles. Just like you, my life requires miracles and I'm going to trust my God Now.
Speaker 1Hebrews 11, verse 1, says Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. So let's just take a moment. Now faith is. Now faith is is three words in to Hebrews 11, verse 1. Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. That is a powerful scripture. When I bring that and I bring that in line with 2 Corinthians, chapter 5, verse 7, we live by faith, not by sight.
Speaker 1Lord, I'm trusting you today that my bills are paid. I'm trusting you today, lord, that relationships are healed. I'm trusting you today, lord, that I'm not going to live by my mind and my skillset, but I'm going to live by the power of the Holy Spirit. I'm going to live in faith in the name of Jesus. I'm going to trust you that I'm healed. I'm trusting you, lord, that my line manager is going to be good today, lord, I'm going to trust you, lord, that all things are well in my workspace, in my school, in my house, in my home, in my life, lord, in my mind.
Speaker 1You know our minds. You know that the power of the mind, the power of the brain you know we got to be so, so careful the mind can take us to a place, and where will the mind take us? The mind will take us to a fearful situation. So when we jump out of the boat, the boat of life, just as the disciple did, and started to walk on water, we cannot look at the storm. Sister and brother, wherever you are, don't look at the storm, look at the King, look at the Son, look at the Son, look at the greatness of God, look at the power of God, look at his strength, look at the power of the Holy Spirit.
Encouragement and Ministry Support
Speaker 1I want to encourage you, as we have just over one minute left of this daily Christian devotional podcast. You, my friend, my brother, my sister, my born again brother, sister, you are going to rise today and you are going to live by the power of the word of God. Wherever you are working, whether you're looking for work, whether you're out of work, whether you're married, unmarried, whether you're a boy, girl, whether you're a child, whether you're a young adult, wherever you are, whatever color, whatever culture, it is irrelevant. Money, skill set is irrelevant. Come on, let's live by faith. Let's trust that God will get us to a place.
Speaker 1So we've come from the scripture today to Corinthians, chapter 5, verse 7. We live by faith, not by sight. I want to encourage you again and again and again. I want to tell you right now you're going to make it. I want to tell you right now, today is a good day, this hour is a good hour, and you hold on to the gospel of truth and never give up and never give in.
