Father, we thank you for the power of light because the light of Christ Lord, you tell us that Jesus is the light of the world. And in Genesis, chapter 1, verse 3, and God said Let there be light. And there was. So, father, we thank you for the power of light. We thank you that light is greater than darkness. We thank you that Jesus Christ is the light of the world. And will you help me, will you help every one of us, lord, let our light shine. Will you help us, lord, to shine for the gospel of Jesus Christ? Will you help us to be radiant? Will you help us to be faithful? So, lord, we thank you for the power of light. And today, lord, wherever we are across the world, we want our light to shine. At school, at work, on the school run, wherever we are, lord, in the staff room, on the scaffold. Lord, in our life that we live, father, we want to let our light shine, lord, in the office, in retail, wherever we are, lord, we want to let our light shine because God said in the beginning let there be light. And we thank you that light is greater than darkness, and we have the light of the world. Jesus is the light of the world. Jesus is the light of the world, and I thank you, lord, that you are living in each and every one of us. So, lord, will you help us to smile today? Will you help us to be radiant for you? Will you help us to be bold and braggadocious for the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords? Will you help us to recognize that the light of the world, that Jesus Christ, the light of the world is walking in the skin that we live in, and greater is he that is in me than he that is in the world.
