Speaker 1:

thank you for joining me today on our daily christian prayer podcast with myself. Reverend ben cooper recorded live here in london, england, with all the bells, with all the whistles, with all the noises, with all the coughs and splutters and all the stuff that goes on. This is live. This is straight out of the barrel of truth. We do not edit anything that we do, as I say pretty often here. This is just straight out the barrel of truth. We don't shape it, we don't polish it, we just literally let it go straight out online. So you might hear me cough, sneeze, lose my breath a moment, you know, because this is real. You know this is real stuff. This is real life. We're not in it for showmanship. We're not in it for anything else but to get the glory of God and to get each and every one of us free from worry, doubt, anxiety. You know the pressures of the world are high, brothers and sisters. You full well know that. But let's get straight in. If you can, please read the show notes, read the 10 prayer points. Take a moment as you commute across the world. Thank you for joining us for these quick fired, quick guns, straight out the barrel of truth, these five minutes of prayer as we just gather around the word of god. Wherever you are, may the spirit of the lord be over you. Let's get straight in.

Speaker 1:

We're going into psalms 34, verse 4 fear. Now we're touching the skin of quite a few things, like the anxiety, worry, doubt, financial pressure, all this sort of stuff, because it's real and that we need prayer. I don't know about you, sister and brother, but I need these prayers in my life. I'm telling you now I need these prayers like never before, because we are living in such powerful days. The atmosphere is heavy, the temperature is hot, the spiritual temperature. But without further ado, let's get straight in Psalm 34, verse 4. I sought the Lord and he answered me. He delivered me from all my fears.

Speaker 1:

Spirit of the living God, I love this text, lord, I love this prayer, father, I thank you that as we seek thee, lord, as we look for the Father's heart, lord, as we come to you right now, just like Jacob, we push everything across the brook. And right now, lord, we come, lord, not armed with nothing, lord, not carrying nothing, but Lord, we come to you, father, god, and stand in your presence and we say, father, I'm not leaving the Father's house, I'm not leaving you until you bless me in the name of Jesus. So, lord, we're seeking you, as the psalmist writes in 34, verse 4. Father, and you tell us that you answer us. Lord, we thank you that you are answering our prayers. We thank you, lord, that anxiety has gone, that you have delivered us from all of our fears. Father, I pray for the sisters and brothers that you will deliver them from all of their fears.

Speaker 1:

As we ransack the word of God, as we scramble into the scriptures today, lord, we need courage. Today we need courage, lord, to face the fears of life. We need, lord, peace in uncertain days. We need deliverance from fear, stress and worry. We pray for strength in anxious times. Today, lord, as we look across the world, we see everything exploding. We see wars, rumors of wars, financial difficulties. Lord, systems stretch beyond human understanding. And as we come to you right now, we pray, lord, that you, dear God, you, dear God, the God of Israel, will bless the listeners from the crown of their head to the sole of their feet. That you will show up in their lives in a practical way, lord, that you will show up and you will deliver them from all of their fears, according to your word that you will set the captives free today.

Speaker 1:

So, lord, we mean business today, lord, father, we're not church people anymore, lord. We're not religious, lord. We're born again, spirit-filled, radical, braggadocious brothers and sisters that stand on the word of God and Lord, we claim healing. Lord, we claim healing over our lives today and fear has gone. At the name of Jesus, lord, we are delivered from fear. We got courage in uncertain days. We got peace in anxious times, lord, we got strength. Lord, we're not going to worry, lord, we're not going to allow worry to control us. We're not going to allow fear to get hold of us. We trust in God's deliverance. We trust in your word, lord. We got boldness in faith. We rise, lord, in calmness. Right now, we rise out of the ashes of life. Father, we thank you that there is hope in Christ. There is joy, lord, in despair moments, lord. There is joy today, lord. The joy of the Lord is our strength. We come to you, lord, in complete freedom, because you tell us in the gospel you will know the truth and the truth will set you free.

Speaker 1:

And today, lord, when fear arises, we pray psalm 34, verse 4 the lord delivers me from all of my fears. Hallelujah, father, I thank you that all the listeners are delivered from all of their fears. Lord, I thank you that they are blood-washed, sanctified children of the living god and where they commute across the world, where they live their lives on school, runs, on work, work runs. Father, retired, whatever is going on in the listeners lives today, I believe that the power of the word of God is with you. I believe the Holy Spirit is in your life. I can see God is wiping your tears, god is carrying your heart, god has you and God is calling you right now. He's telling your sister and brother, he's telling me do not allow fear to carry us, do not allow fear to crush us, do not allow uncertain days to get a hold of us. The spirit of the living God is over each and every one of us today. Come on, let's pray through Psalm 34, verse 4. I sought the Lord and he answered me.

Speaker 1:

Psalm 34, verse 4,. I sought the Lord and he answered me. He delivered me from all of my fears. May the Spirit of the living God, may the joy of the Lord, may the love of the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit, be with you today. Sister and brother, listener, wherever you are. God is with you. Do not allow the fear of life to shake you. Stand strong today and let the power of the Holy Spirit lead you in beautiful paths of righteousness. My name is Reverend Ben Cooper, and it's a privilege to pray with you, and thank you for praying for us, too, as we stand together as born again, bible believing believers across the world. Let's rise up for Jesus. Let's rise up for the King. Let's give our God a shout today, because all things are possible to those who believe, until tomorrow.
