thank you for joining us today on our daily christian prayer podcast with myself. Reverend ben cooper recorded live here in london, england, for your quick-fired five minute time for renewal, encouragement, peace, wherever you are today, let's do not doubt, let's not be uncertain, let's be strong, let's trust in god. However you are, what is your life looking like at this moment in time? Without further ado, we're diving straight into Psalm 37, verse 5. Commit your ways to the Lord, trust in him, and he will do this. Father, I pray for the listeners today. I pray, dear God, that they us me, you, whoever we are, god that we will trust in our God. Lord, help us, help me to commit my ways to the Lord. Lord, I need to commit myself to you. So, lord, let this hour, let this moment, let this morning, this evening or this day, father, we need to commit ourselves to you. So we come to the cross of Calvary and we say, father, thank you that we are sinners saved by grace and we are washed in the blood of Jesus, and the power of the Holy Spirit is over our lives. Lord, we are redeemed, we are blood washed, we are sanctified, we are children of the living God and the fire of God is over our lives. So today, lord, there is no doubt.
Speaker 0:Lord, the prayer of David through Psalm 37, verse 5. Lord, the prayer of doubt goes at the name of Jesus. Lord, I need this today, lord, I've got to trust in God's unfailing word. Lord, as I come right now, lord, help us overcome doubt. Help us to rise in faith. Help us to call on the name of the Lord. Give us courage, lord. Give us courage, like David, to go down to that place to fight the bear and the lion. Father, give us courage to stand in front of Goliath. Give us courage, through the word of God, to be warriors for you, father. Today we commit our way to God and Lord, we seek the Father's heart.
Speaker 0:Lord, if we are in the face of adversity, in the face of doubt, lord, we thank you that doubt fades at the name of Jesus. Lord, when we fully trust in you, lord, through this devotional time as we gather, right now, through this time, lord, god, we thank you. There is power in the name. But, lord, as we rise in the word of God, we thank you that doubt fades in the face of our God. So right now, lord, we pray for trust in God, overwhelming doubt to go at the name of Jesus. Peace in uncertain hours. Courage today, lord, I need courage. As I stand, lord, as I stand and look across the plain of Jericho and I see in the distance, lord, I see a fortified city, but that city will fall because, lord, I trust in you and I'm not going to doubt anymore, I'm not going to doubt that that city is going to stay there. I believe that the fire of God and the power of God and the Holy Spirit is going to move right now and today, lord, we come to you in the greatest name in heaven and earth and we trust in God's word. Lord, we thank you that we are overcoming doubt, not because of our strength, not because of our physicality, not depending on who we are or our skill set, but because greater is he that is in me than he that is in the world. And today, lord, doubt fades at the name of Jesus, fear fades at the name of Jesus, peace arises Courage today. Give us courage in fear. Lord, we got confidence in your promises. We got faith in hard times. Calmness as we wait for thee. Lord, we thank you that we got boldness in Christ, renewal of hope. There is joy in God's faithfulness. Lord, I pray today that we will make this a life application.
Speaker 0:Lord, as we stand on the book of Psalms 37, verse 5, I commit my ways to the Lord. Lord, I've got to commit myself. I've got to give you my heart completely. Lord, I know that you've got my heart. I know that I am saved. But, lord, I have to make this a public declaration that I need to commit all of my ways to the God of Israel, to the Father, to the Son, to the Holy Spirit. Lord, I need to trust in you and you alone. I've got to bring everything I've got. Leave it at your footstool, lord, I've got to give you everything. So, lord, help me to commit all of my ways to the Lord. I trust in him right now. Help me, god, to make this a life application. Help me to stand strong. Help us to be bold.
Speaker 0:I pray for the listeners as we've been praying through for these five minutes, that the glory, the power, the anointing, the spirit of the living God is over their shoulders in their lives. I thank you that there is anointing running down them today and the word of God is stirring them. The word of God is leading them. The fire of God is over them. The power of the Holy Spirit is leading them.
Speaker 0:Lord, today, let this be a day of breakthrough. Let this be a day, lord, where storms disappear, because we have committed our lives to Jesus. Lord, I want to commit my way to you. I want to live a powerful life in Jesus. I want to live in the full stretch of the Holy Word of God. Lord, I want to live in favor. I want to live in anointing. I want to live in glory. I want to live in your power. We want to live in the Word of God.
Speaker 0:So, father, I, us, we, we commit ourselves today, lord, on this day, right now, whatever the day is, whatever the hour is, wherever we are, the town, the city, the nation, whoever we are, whatever our color is, whatever our lives look like, whatever the postcode, the zip code, whatever currency we use, lord, we are committing our lives to Jesus. So, lord, I bridge the gap for the sisters and brothers and everyone today that is listening to my voice, me also, god, I commit and, lord, I want to walk in glory, we want to walk in favor, we want to walk in power. So let it be today, god, as we commit our ways to the Lord and help us to trust in you. Thank you for joining me today. My name is Reverend Ben Cooper. May the Lord bless you, keep you and carry you until tomorrow.
