Speaker 0:Now, without further ado, let's just jump straight into the gospel of matthew, chapter 11, verse 28 the prayer for rest and renewal. Come, holy spirit, lord. We come to you right now, lord, and we pray. We pray, lord, through Matthew 11, 28,. Come to me, all of you that are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest, father. We need rest today, lord. The world is busy, life is busy, lord, we got so many plates that we are spinning. We need rest in the name of Jesus. So, lord, help us to come to you, lord. Show us, lord, how to get to you. Show us how to read the scripture, lord, reveal your word, lord, through revelational knowledge, and we stand as brothers and sisters across the world and we believe in the fire and the power of the Holy Spirit. Lord, you tell us through the gospel of Matthew 11, 28,. Come to me, lord. We walk to you, lord. How do we walk to you, jesus, lord?
Speaker 0:I believe that we walk to you, lord, by reading the word of God. So, lord, I pray that we will be brothers and sisters of the word. I pray that we will read the word, that we will walk in the word, that we will look through the word, lord, and the word will carry us, lord, and the word will give us miracles after miracles, blessings after blessings, healings after healings, peace after peace. Lord, we thank you that your word is yes and amen. But, lord, we're learning to come to you, we're learning to surrender because, lord, lord, oh Jesus.
Speaker 0:It is a tough world, lord, out here, and, lord, we have to lean into you. And right now, lord, we are learning to come to the cross of Calvary, not to church, not to ministry, but we're learning to leave all that stuff behind. We're learning to come to the cross of calvary, not to church, not to ministry, but we're learning to leave all that stuff behind. We're learning to seek ye first, the kingdom of god and his righteousness. We're learning to walk with jesus. So, lord, I want to walk with jesus. Lord, I believe the, the listeners, the brothers, the sisters want to walk with jesus. So we come to you and we are weary and we are burdened.
Speaker 0:And, father, we thank you that at the cross there is a place where we will find freedom. In the word of God, there is a place where we will find hope, lord, in the word of God. We thank you that. It's where the rucksack gets left, it's where the suitcases get left, it's where the pressure, the get left. It's where the pressure, the worry, the doubt, the fear, at the cross of Calvary, through the word of God. So, lord, I pray, lord, that we will be men and women of the word of God, that we will stand on the word of hope, the Lord, that we will be your witnesses to the four corners of the earth. And when we are weary, we thank you that you are strong, lord. When we go through the valley, lord, we thank you that burdens are lifted, because the joy of the lord is our strength and we search the word.
Speaker 0:Today, lord, for weary souls, whoever feels weary, we pray that they will rise on wings as of eagles and father. We pray that they will find renewal of strength, peace in weariness, rest in christ, relief from burdens. Lord, we thank you that the joy of God is with every listener today and the strength Lord is being restored to them. Lord, there is comfort in hard times, lord, I thank you that you are our daily bread. And today, lord, we pray, lord, for daily renewal of the soul. Lord, we pray for calmness of heart, wholeness in Christ, that the fire of God will come down in our lives and we will make this a life application. Lord, that we declare today, we speak this aloud over our lives.
Speaker 0:We declare the gospel of Matthew, chapter 11, verse 28. I come to Jesus and he gives me rest. Brother and sister, say that to yourself today. I come to Jesus and he gives me rest. Our Father, I thank you that there is rest in you, that through the word of God there is hope. Through the word of God there is healing. Through the word of God there is freedom. We declare freedom over our lives and we speak right now.
Speaker 0:Spirit of the living God, make a way where there seems to be no way, lord. We understand Lord. What is impossible with man is possible with God. Make a way where there seems to be no way, lord, we understand Lord. What is impossible with man is possible with God. So today, lord, we come to you and we seek the Father's heart. We are looking for the whisper through scripture, we're looking for that radical move. Lord, we're hanging on to the word of God and, lord, we stretch up, we stretch out and we stretch in today, because peace is the way forward. Come Holy Spirit, father, we thank you that we prayed through the gospel of Matthew, chapter 11, verse 28. Come to me all of you that are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest as we close this right now.
Speaker 0:I want to encourage you right now to get into the word of God. I want to encourage you right now to get into the word of God. I want to encourage you right now to stretch into Jesus. Forget church, forget religion, forget the ministry. I'm calling you now to be a Jesus follower. Go and follow Jesus Christ, the first, the last. He is your king, he is your redeemer, he is your rock, he is your Jehovah Jireh, jehovah Shalom. He is the king above all kings. Be a Jesus follower. Be that Jesus follower. Be braggadocious, be a radical Christian for Jesus Christ and follow him, because he is the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the father except through me. May God bless you. Thank you for joining us today. My name's Reverend Ben Cooper. May the Lord bless you and keep you until tomorrow.
