Speaker 0:As we stand together, lock shields of hope in the mighty name of jesus and, as we gather right now for our quick fired five minute time room, encourage and as we gather around the Word of God. You know, let's dive straight in, and the theme today is coming from Psalms 34, verse 18 from the NIV. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. You know God is with you wherever you are. God is with you. If you feel that you're crushed in spirit, if you feel like you're suffering in hardship and pain and all that sort of stuff, god is with you. He will give you comfort in grief. He is close to the brokenhearted and he will restore all the years that the locusts have taken. Come on, let's get straight in without further ado. Father, in the name of Jesus, we pray these quick-fired five-minute commuter prayers. And we pray these quick-fired five-minute commuter prayers and, lord, we need miracles today and, lord, we thank you, lord for the psalmist, the prayer of david. The lord is close to the brokenhearted and we pray, lord, wherever we are at this moment in time, lord, that we will feel your presence, your love, your goodness, because the bible tells us that you are close to the brokenhearted. We pray for those that need comfort in grief. We pray, lord, for those that need daily help. Lord, in every area of life, that you will strengthen them in suffering. Lord, you tell us you're close to the brokenhearted. We pray for hope, lord, in trials of situations, in this daily devotional time, we come to you right now. We pray for those that will be healed in pain, in the mighty name of jesus christ, and we need comfort. You tell God, you tell us that you are close to the brokenhearted and we need you right now, and you save those who are crushed in spirit. So, lord, all those that are crushed, all those that feel weary, all those that feel exhausted, all those that feel really tired and down within themselves, lord, I pray that you will lift them up in the mightiest name, the glorious name of Jesus. Let your presence, your love, your saving grace rest over each and every one of them Because, lord, we need to search the scriptures tonight.
Speaker 0:We need to search the scriptures this morning, this hour. Wherever we are, lord, we need to get straight into the word of God because we need strength, lord. Our strength needs renewing. And for those that feel crushed under the weight of life, all those that feel crushed under the weight of life, all those that feel crushed in the very face of adversity, will you strengthen them, lord. So, dear God, I pray that you will give us comfort in grief and loss, lord, that you will give us peace in suffering and hardship. Healing of a broken heart yes, lord, all those hearts that are broken, we thank you for healing Hope in troubled times.
Speaker 0:In the name of Jesus, strength to endure pain Come on, god.
Speaker 0:We need that right now. And, lord, faith when we feel crushed in spirit. Relief from emotional strain and discord. Come, father, refresh us. Today, lord, we need joy. Lord, we need to be restored after sorrow. We need courage to face tomorrow. Yes, lord, that's a big thing. Lord, we need courage to actually face. Today, lord, we need courage. Lord, we pray for those that are not sleeping well. Lord, we pray that their sleep will be sweet. We thank you that God's presence in loneliness. And, lord, we need to make this a life application. And today, lord, I ask you, father, that you will strengthen us in the greatest name in heaven and earth. And today, as we make this, as we declare this Lord, we need to hear the Father's heart, we need to hear the voice of heaven, we need to hear the power of God. So, right now, in the name of Jesus, we want to hear the whisper, the whisper of the voice of God, because we've got to make this a life application. The Bible says the Lord is near to the brokenhearted and he saves those who are in pain. Father, I thank you right now that we make this a life application through this prayer time. As we stand together, lock shields of faith, lord, as we walk together as brothers and sisters. Father, we thank you that we are praying for one another across the world, across the globe.
Speaker 0:Spirit of the living god, I pray for the listeners today that they will feel your love and your mercy and your goodness. They will see favor over their lives. That they will feel the presence of the holy spirit. Lord that they will walk strong, they will be warriors and lord that they will feel that they're as strong and as bold as lions. In the name of jesus, that they will feel your presence in school, in work, at home, wherever they are, whatever their life. Name of Jesus, that they will feel your presence in school, in work, at home, wherever they are, whatever their life looks like. I pray that they will feel the heartbeat and the drumbeat of heaven, that they will feel the power of God in their lives. Lord, for those that are lonely. Lord, refresh them For those that are tired. Refresh them For those that are exhausted. Refresh them For those that, dear God, just feel gritty and fed up with life.
Speaker 0:Spirit of the living God, refresh us. In the name of Jesus, father, we thank you that we are born again, spirit-filled, blessed and highly favored, braggadocious believers in Christ Jesus. So, lord, we pray for an outpouring of your spirit over the listeners today, that they will walk in grace, they will walk in favor, that they will walk in the anointing of God, that they will see the goodness of God. And today is the day of their salvation. Let healing abound.
Speaker 0:But those that feel brokenhearted, those, dear God, that feel crushed in spirit, we thank you, lord, that their spirit is alive. We thank you that you are lifting them, that you are carrying them, that you have anointed them, that you have called them. Dear God, in the name of Jesus, let your word run so powerful through their lives. Let the glory of God shine in their hearts wherever they are right now. Let the love of God be over their lives. Lord, heal the brokenhearted, Set the captives free. But, lord, we thank you as we have prayed through Psalm 34. Psalm 34, verse 18. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and he saves those who are crushed in the spirit. Thank you for joining us today on our Daily Christian prayer podcast.
