Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself, Reverend Ben Cooper, recorded live here in London, England, where the world gathers for five minutes of faith, hope, love, and strength. Whatever your name is, whatever your colour, whatever your age, whoever you are, wherever you are, I've got to tell you that the love of God is over your life. And the Spirit of the Lord is leading you. This is a new day, this is a new hour, and we are jumping up and down with complete and absolute excitement that this is a great day, because this is the day that the Lord has made. We shall rejoice and be glad. Let's not jump and bounce on the trampoline of yesterday. Let's not jump on the rhythm of what the world is doing. Let's not follow social media. Let's follow the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. The Lion of Judah is in your life, and the title of this prayer time together is Jesus. Guide my decision and steady my steps at this hour. Holy Spirit, we pray through Psalm 23, verse 3. Jesus, guide my steps. Lord, you tell us that the steps of a good person are ordered by the Lord. And Lord, sometimes we go down unusual pathways. Sometimes we find ourselves in the valley of the shadow of death. But Lord, we've got to remind ourselves that in the valley of the shadow of death, in the valley of the shadow of uncertainty, we find ourselves being sharpened by the Holy Spirit. We find ourselves, dear God, being drawn to the gospel of hope. So Lord, wherever we are right now, let your love, let your mercy. Lord, we need the guidance of Psalm 23. We need the protection of Psalm 91. Lord, I pray wherever we are scattered across the world, from the battlefield to the Passover, Holy Spirit, will you lead us to the cross? Lord, will you get us in the Word of God? Father, will you draw us into your presence? And Lord, we as we pray out of Psalm 23, verse 3, He restores my soul. He guides me along righteous paths for his namesake. Lord, the rhythm of our life, dear God, it is in line with the word of God. Bring us in alignment. Bring us to that place. From the battlefield to London, from London to Norway, from Norway to India, from India to Brazil, from Brazil to South Africa, from South Africa to New Zealand. The Spirit of the Lord is over your life. God loves you, and you are born again, and you are blessed and highly favored, wonderfully and fearfully made. Lord, I pray that we will feel the love of God. Lord, I today, Lord, I pray that there will be a blanket wrapped around each and every one of us. Lord, that there will be a blanket of love. Lord, that you will capture us, that you will carry us. Lord, that we will find the freedom. So Lord, we pray that you will command your angels concerning us to guard us in all of our ways. We believe that angels are deployed at midday. We believe angels are deployed at every second, every moment. Because you care for us, because you love us, because Lord, you don't want to see any harm brought our way. Lord, we thank you that the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, that the Spirit of the Lord is with each and every one of us. And as we go through the battles, as we go through the fire, as we go, dear God, through the arena of life, as we are, dear God, on the boxing rings of life. Lord, as we're in that ring right now, we're in the arena. And Lord, we're on the ropes. Certain things are putting us on the ropes. And Lord, we got to find strength to get up off the canvas. Holy Spirit, give us strength to get up and get off the canvas. Holy Spirit, will you lead us in paths of righteousness? Lord, help us to focus because sometimes, Lord, the worry, the fear, the panic, Lord, takes away the focus of what we should be doing. So today, Jesus, I pray, guide my decisions and steady my steps. Holy Spirit, we need you in our lives. Holy Spirit, we need you like never before. From the battlefield to the boardroom, from the boardroom to the school run, from the school run to the coffee run. Wherever we are across this beautiful earth, Lord, if we're in the shops right now, bless us. Father, if we're doing the shops and we're filling the trolley up, Lord, and we're worried about the money. Lord, make the money, extend the money in the name of Jesus. Father, bless the homemakers wherever the homemakers are around the world. Bless them and carry them. The glory of God and the power of God is over your life. Never ever give up. Jesus Christ loves you. I will catch you so soon. So the title of this prayer was coming out of Psalm 23, verse 3. Jesus, guide my decisions and steady my steps today. God bless. I will see you soon.
