Joshua 1:5 — Jesus, Stand With Me When the Night Feels Uncertain Live from London, England with Reverend Ben Cooper • Brazil • United States • India • Portugal • South Africa Joshua 1:5 (NIV): “No one will be able to stand against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you.” Matthew 28:20 (NIV): “And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” In these quiet night hours, when the world feels still and tomorrow feels uncertain, Your presence, Jesus, becomes the strength our hearts search for. We hold the ancient promise spoken in Joshua 1:5, a declaration that You remain with Your people through every season, every moment of hesitation, every hour shadowed by concern. As the night stretches on and thoughts try to rise, You speak reassurance: You will never leave. You will never forsake. You stand beside us now, offering steadiness for weary minds and peace for unsettled hearts. Jesus, You remind us that even when circumstances shift, Your nearness does not. You draw close to those who whisper prayers in the dark, You calm the soul that feels overwhelmed, and You bring a quiet strength that settles the inward places. Just as You walked with Your followers and promised Your lasting presence, we receive that same assurance tonight, believing that Your peace enters the spaces where worry has tried to live. Across nations and languages, in Portuguese-speaking homes saying “Tu estás comigo,” in Indian families praying softly, in those across America needing hope for tomorrow, Your promise stands unchanged. Jesus, steady the one lying awake. Lift the one who feels anxious about what the next day may bring. Let Your companionship be their courage and let Your peace guard their thoughts as they rest. No darkness is stronger than Your presence, and no uncertainty is greater than Your faithful love. Tonight we trust You, Jesus. Walk with us. Watch over us. Renew us with quiet confidence. Amen.  Jesus help me at night, Joshua 1:5 prayer, Matthew 28:20 encouragement, devotional for fear, prayer for uncertainty, Portuguese Christian prayer, India Christian prayer, USA Christian devotional, night reassurance prayer, global daily prayer Jesus prayer, Joshua 1, night fear, reassurance, devotional, Matthew 28:20, global prayer, Portuguese Christian, India Christian, hope

Welcome And How To Send Prayers

SPEAKER_00

Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself, Reverend Van Cooper, recorded live here in London, England, where the world gathers for five minutes of faith, hope, love, and strength. If you've got a prayer request, you can email us to the studio, which is easy, which is info at dailyprayer.uk. That is info at dailyprayer.uk. Thank you to everybody that is on RB Christian Radio across the world and everybody that is in the archives of these podcasts. Please go back and listen to everything that we've said and done. You know, there is so much stuff out there, but the Lord God is with every one of us. Wherever we are right now, we're gonna knuckle down. It is 12 a.m. live here in London, England, and we're praying out of the beautiful book of Joshua over these next nine prayers as we just pray and we believe for miracles. Do you believe in miracles? Do you believe in the power of God? Come on, we're gonna pray. And what is the title we're praying for? It's Jesus, stand with me when night feels uncertain. Holy Spirit, I bring the listeners before you across the world. And Lord, I thank you for everyone that is standing, that is praying, that is walking with me right now. We come to the cross of Calvary. And Jesus, as we pray through Joshua chapter 1, verse 5, the Bible says, No one will be able to stand up against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so will I be with you. I will never leave you nor forsake you. Father, I thank you that you will never forsake us. I thank you, dear God, that you will never leave us, that you're with us until the very end of this earthly life existence. Lord, you are the King of kings and the Lord of Lords. And Father, when this heart stops beating, Lord, you call us into glory. You call us into eternity. And Father, we pray, dear God, for our own lives right now. We pray for healing. We pray for miracles. We pray for the calmness of God. Lord, we want to hear the line of Judah at this hour. Lord, as the day is finished, Lord, as the sun is well set on today, Lord, Father, we pray that you will just carry us, dear God. And we won't live by our emotions. We won't live by the panic and the fear and the worry of the uncertain days. And Lord, when nighttime feels so uncertain, when we feel quite, dear God, unstable, when we feel quite tired, dear God, and through the day and through the life that we've had, Father, we pray that your nearness will be so strong. Lord, we want to draw close to you. Lord, we want to draw close to you in the dark hour. We want to walk, dear God, to the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. And wherever we are scattered across this world, Jesus, tonight we trust in you. Jesus, walk with us. Lord, we want to walk with the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. Father, we want to feel your presence and your love, your mercy and your saving grace over our lives. And Jesus, draw us close. We want to hear the line of Judah. Whatever battles we've been going through, whatever fears we've been facing, whatever situations we've been looking at today. Holy Spirit, will you carry us, dear God, to the cross? Will you get us to that place where we can find that refreshment and that stability? That we will know the love of God and God will just draw us in. Father, we need our hearts to settle. We need our minds to rest. We need the goodness of God, the favor, the mercies, the promises. And from the battlefields of today, whatever has gone on in our lives, Father, we're asking that you will draw us close today. Lord, at this hour, you will draw us close to the cross of Calvary, that we will feel your love. And Father, wherever we are across this world, Lord, we believe in miracles. Holy Spirit, right here from live in London, England to Brazil, from Brazil all the way to the United States of America, all the way from America to India, from India to Portugal, from Portugal to South Africa. Lord, we pray that the love of God, the mercy of God, your presence and your goodness will just give us, dear God, that spiritual uplift that we need in our lives. From the battlefields of life to the podcasting table, from the podcasting table all the way from the studio here, live in London, England. May the Spirit of the Lord carry you. My voice is given out again. But Jesus Christ is with us wherever we are, from London all the way from the rhythm of this studio, all the way to the night terrors, all the way to every situation that we're facing. The love of God is with every one of us. Come on, from the battlefield to the Passover table, to the pod table, to the studio table, to the kitchen table, to the table of life. Whatever table we have in our lives, I pray that the Lord will carry us. God bless you. May the Spirit of the Lord carry you. Whatever your life is reflecting. Never give up. I'll see you soon.
