Joshua 1:6 — Jesus, Strengthen My Heart When Worry Rises Early - Live from London, England with Reverend Ben Cooper • Kenya • Brazil • United States • India • Portugal Joshua 1:6 (NIV): “Be strong and courageous, because you will lead these people to inherit the land I swore to their ancestors to give them.” John 14:27 (NIV): “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” In these early hours when the mind wakes before the body and worry rises uninvited, we look to Your words, Jesus, for the calm our hearts long for. Joshua was told to be strong and courageous not because he felt ready, but because Your presence stood with him. Tonight, that same presence steadies us. You remind us that courage is not a feeling but a gift born from Your nearness. As thoughts begin to swirl and tomorrow tries to whisper fear, Your voice speaks peace that settles the deepest places. You say, “Do not let your heart be troubled,” and in these quiet hours we choose to receive that peace. Let Your strength meet every anxious thought, let courage rise gently where uncertainty has settled, and let Your calm fill the early light of this new day. Across the world, from Portuguese-speaking believers praying “Tu és a minha força,” to families in India seeking guidance, to those in the United States needing reassurance for the day ahead, Your promise of peace remains unchanged. You enter the restless places, the worried moments, the fragile thoughts, and You breathe steady courage into us. Jesus, strengthen the one who feels overwhelmed before the day has even begun. Bring clarity where confusion has been, comfort where fear has tried to linger, and gentle assurance that You go before them. As this new day approaches, let Your peace be the anchor that steadies the heart, and let Your courage guide every step. Amen. Global Prayer For Strength And Peace

SPEAKER_00

in the name of Jesus, we believe at this hour, wherever we are right now, Jesus, strengthen my heart when worry starts to rise. Jesus, strengthen my heart when worry starts to rise. Father, wherever we are across this world, from live here in London, England, all the way to Kenya, from Kenya to Brazil, from Brazil to the United States, to India to Portugal, Lord, we believe in the fire and the power of God. And Lord, we need the love of Jesus. And Lord, I pray for every listener right now, under the sound of my voice, whatever they're battling, whatever they're carrying, whatever they're walking through, and whatever they're going through, Lord, whatever corridor, dear God, they're they're mooching down at this moment, Lord. I pray for peace, dear God, through the corridor of their life. I thank you for every listener, wherever they are, whatever tribe, whatever colour, whatever tongue, whatever language, whatever culture, I thank you, dear God, that we belong to the kingdom. And Lord, that we are born again, we are spirit-filled, we are Bible-believing believers, and we have been grafted into the vine. And Lord, no trouble, no situation can never separate us from the love of God that is in Christ

Battling Worry And Finding Rest

SPEAKER_00

Jesus. So Lord, as we pray through Joshua chapter 1, verse 6, Lord, we thank you that Jesus strengthened our hearts now, that Jesus Christ is strengthening this organ in our body known as the heart. Lord, I thank you that our hearts are being strengthened. Lord, when worry starts to rise in the early hours, Father, I pray as we pour the duvet down, Lord, as we get down, dear God, for sleep right now. Lord, as we're trying to rest our head, Lord, our minds are foggy. Lord, help us to leave social media alone. Help us, dear God, not to indulge, dear God, in the devil's playground, but Lord, to walk in the freedom of God. I pray, dear God, that we will listen to the rhythm of heaven and the word of God will get in our spirit, that we will feel the love of Jesus Christ. Jesus, strengthen my heart. Jesus, strengthen my heart when worry starts to rise at this very peculiar hour.

Be Strong And Courageous

SPEAKER_00

Lord, you tell us through the beautiful book of Joshua, chapter 1, verse 6, be strong and courageous. Lord, I pray that we will have courage. Lord, that we will be bold like lions. Father God, that we won't listen, dear God, to the naysayers. We won't indulge, dear God, in political arenas. Lord, that we won't, dear God, worry when we jump into the arena of life because our God is with us and the battle belongs to the Lord.

God With Us In Every Arena

SPEAKER_00

So, Father, will you give us a steady rhythm in our heart today? Lord, will you steady this rhythm, this heartbeat? Lord, as we're laying in bed, as we're commuting across the world, whatever the time zone is, wherever we are, Lord, we need the love of God from the battlefield to the boardroom. Father, from the boardroom to this studio table, Lord, from this studio desk all the way across the rhythm of the world. Holy Spirit, we pray right now that the love of God and the mercy of God will keep every one of us strong. Lord, give us courage, give us strength. Lord, we need spiritual peace at this hour. Lord, I thank you for every listener. Bless them from the crown of their head, all the way to the sole of their feet. Let peace abound in their spirit.

Blessing, Peace, And Closing Hope

SPEAKER_00

Come, Holy Spirit. You tell us that we should never have a troubled heart. But right now, Lord, carry this troubled heart, carry these worries and these fears, Lord, as we lock together today in prayer. Whatever the hour is, whatever your time zone is, God is healing you, God is leading us. Never give up. I will catch you in two. Don't go too far.
