Psalm 127:2 — Jesus, Give Me Deep Rest and Remove Every Burden as I Fully Surrender Tonight Live from London, England São Paulo • Rio de Janeiro • Mexico City • Manila • Madrid sleep prayer • surrender to God • peaceful rest • night anxiety • deep sleep Psalm 127:2 (NIV): “In vain you rise early and stay up late, toiling for food to eat— for he grants sleep to those he loves.” Matthew 11:28 (NIV): “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” John 3:16 (NIV): “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” Jesus, I surrender fully into Your care tonight. I do not hold anything back. I do not carry anything further. Every burden, every thought, every concern—I place it into Your hands. This day is finished. I release it completely. You invite me to come to You when I am weary—and I come now. Not partially, but fully. I lay down every weight and receive the rest that You give. You grant sleep to those You love. So I do not strive for rest—I receive it. I do not hold tension—I release it. I do not remain alert—I settle into peace. Jesus, bring me into deep, uninterrupted rest. Let my body settle. Let my mind quiet. Let every part of me come under Your covering. And I rest in this truth—You love me. Your love is secure, unchanging, and complete. Because of Your love, I am safe. Because of Your love, I can rest. Jesús, me rindo completamente a Ti y descanso en Tu paz esta noche. Jesús, descanso seguro en Tu presencia y suelto toda carga. Jesus, entrego-me completamente a Ti e descanso na Tua paz esta noite. From São Paulo to Rio de Janeiro, from Mexico City to Madrid, across every place entering this night, You are present. You are watching. You are holding Your people securely. So I surrender completely. I rest deeply. I sleep in peace, held in Your love. In Your name, Jesus, I rest without fear. Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself, Reverend Ben Cooper, wherever you are in the world. Thank you for staying with us through the power of prayer and through the journey of life. Come on, we're gonna lock in. What a week! How are you? I hope you're well in the name of Jesus Christ. Thank you for your love and your support. You know, we're on the last prayer of today. It is Saturday, and we are punching at 11 p.m. Come on, let's get straight in. We're in Psalms 127, verse 2. This is the title, Jesus. Give me deep rest and remove every burden as I fully surrender tonight. Lord, that's a scary word, surrender. Holy Spirit, through this prayer time, this devotional time, Lord, surrendering is difficult. Surrendering, Lord, is letting go of me. Lord, surrendering, Jesus, is letting go of self. But Lord, until I let go of me, Father, I won't grow. So Lord, I pray that as I let go of self, Father, I feel as I let go of everything and say, Jesus, I'm yours. Suddenly, when that happens, God, I find that burdens get taken. Worries, dear God, just melt like wax. Father, when I say Jesus, oh please, Jesus. Lord, the battle cry, Lord, as we come to the cross right now. Lord, we need deep rest. Lord, there is no rest at work. There is no rest in the house. There is no rest, dear God, on the commute. There is no rest on social networks. Father, there is no rest in the world. So Lord, I pray that we will find deep rest in Jesus Christ. And Lord, I thank you that it's not about going to church. It's about trusting in Jesus Christ. Lord, it's not about being religious. It's not about, dear God, dancing according to the latest hashtag. Lord, it's about surrender and help us to surrender. Lord, we want to sleep well. So Lord, I pray that you will remove every burden, every worry, every fear. Lord, as we stretch out across the world, all the way from London to Mexico, all the way to Madrid, all the way to China, all the way to Australia, all the way to the outer Hebrides. Father, we are praying for your mercy and your grace over every town, over every village, over every tribe, and over every colour and tongue. Lord, we are praying for peace. Lord, life is too much. The burden is too heavy. And Lord, we need grace. We need favor. So Jesus, give us deep rest and remove every burden as I fully surrender to you tonight. Lord, I pray, and I realize it's not church that I got to get to. Lord, I realize it's not religion that I got to seek. It is Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world. Lord, as you said to the disciples on the shoreline of Galilee, drop your nets, come and follow me. Lord, I pray that I will be remembered as a Jesus follower. Lord, that I will be remembered that someone he followed Jesus Christ. Lord, I pray that you will give us deep rest and remove every burden as we fully surrender to you tonight. Lord, lift the worries, lift the anxiety, and dear God, I pray that every listener will sleep sweet and they will feel the love of God and the presence of Jesus Christ. Wherever you are, from the battles of life to the rock face, from the rock face of life to the smiles of life, to the skip of life to the dance of life, to the cry of life, whoever you are, wherever you are. Thank God for you. Don't ever give up. Come on. Will you join me for the 12 a.m. prayer? Shall we try it? Come on, let's skip.
