Night Prayer — Jesus, Even When I Cannot See It, You Are Still Working John 5:17 — Jesus, You Are Always Working, Even in the Quiet and Unseen Live from London, England São Paulo • Chicago • Nairobi • Manila • Madrid trust God when nothing is happening • waiting on God prayer • God is working prayer • uncertainty and faith • night prayer for reassurance John 5:17 (NIV): “In his defense Jesus said to them, ‘My Father is always at his work to this very day, and I too am working.’” Romans 8:28 (NIV): “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” Jesus, even when I cannot see it, You are working. Even when everything feels still, nothing is truly still in You. You are active. You are moving in ways I cannot yet understand. You are preparing what I cannot yet see. What is unseen is not undone—it is being formed by Your hand. So I do not lose heart. I do not measure Your faithfulness by what I see in front of me. I trust that You are working in all things, bringing purpose, shaping outcomes, and aligning what is ahead. Jesus, help me to remain steady in the waiting. When I feel uncertain, reassure me. When I feel stillness, remind me that You are active within it. I trust Your unseen work. Jesús, aunque no lo vea, confío en que Tú estás obrando en todo. Jesus, mesmo quando não vejo, confio que Tu estás a trabalhar em tudo. From São Paulo to Chicago, from Nairobi to Madrid, across every place resting in the quiet of this moment, You are present. You are working. You are moving in ways beyond what can be seen. So I remain at peace. I trust without needing to see. I rest in what You are doing. In Your name, Jesus, I trust Your unseen work. Welcome And Invitation To Pray

SPEAKER_00

Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself, Reverend Van Cooper, wherever you are in the world. Thank you for making daily prayer part of your life and part of your day. Come on, let's pray. The title is coming out, the Gospel of John, and that is John chapter 5, verse 17. Jesus, you are always working, even in the choir and the unseen. Father, we thank you that you are working in the unseen. And Lord, we lean into prayer right now. Lord, we say thank you that the battle belongs to the Lord. Lord, we're tired and we're weary. And Lord, through this night prayer, we come to Jesus Christ because Lord, as we keep saying and keep praying, Father, there's nowhere else to go but into the Father's arms. And Lord, we thank you that the power of prayer is simple. It is just conversation. I thank you, Lord, that we haven't got to be in church, we haven't got to be in ministry. Lord, we haven't got to be in a religious box. Lord, all we've got to do is just have a chat with you, Jesus. And right now, Lord, we're chatting, we're praying, and we're coming to you right now, Jesus. And Lord, I thank you that you're always working in our lives, Lord, even in the quiet and the unseen moments. And Father, so often we feel that there is so much quietness, so much unseen moments, but Lord, suddenly out of nowhere. Father, there is a miracle. Suddenly, out of nowhere comes a word, comes a person. You put someone in our pathway. Something happens. So Jesus, you are always working. Lord, even in the area that I cannot see, Lord, I thank you that you are working and your grace and your mercy. Father, we want to walk close with you. Lord, we want to grow in our faith life. Lord, we want to grow in our healing. Lord, we want to grow in the word of God. And Jesus, Holy Spirit, we trust you when nothing seems to be happening. We're waiting on God. So Lord, I pray that you will give us patience as we wait, as we be still. And Father, we thank you that the power of the Word of God is in our lives. And we believe in miracles. And Lord, as we pray through Romans 8:28, and we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been accalled according to His purpose. And right now, as we cannot see what you are doing, Lord, we go by faith and we believe that we are healed. We believe that every organ in our body is functioning correctly. Lord, we believe that we are waiting on God. We believe that there are miracles in our family, miracles at work, miracles at home, miracles. Lord, we believe that you are reviving, that you are restoring. And Lord, as we go through this Passover time, Father, we thank you that the love of God is over our lives. Jesus, we thank you that you are working. Father, when we look, dear God, at life and we measure life, Father, we thank you that we are learning, dear God, not to measure you, but Lord, to look at you and say, Thank you, Jesus. So Lord, we need this night reassurance right now. Lord, we need your love, your grace, your saving power over our lives. And Jesus, we realize that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him. Lord, and it is that easy. Lord, it is that easy at this night prayer. So Father, wherever we are, from the battlefield to the boardroom, to the field of life, whatever we are going through, Father, as we stretch out across this world, Father, as we lock in together. Lord, through this night devotional prayer time, Father, we thank you that as we pray out through London, right the way through Chicago, Madrid, right the way back to Barcelona, France, Lord, we are praying for Israel. We're praying for peace in Jerusalem. And Lord, we believe, Lord, that you are working right around the Middle East through this Passover time. So Lord, draw us close to you. So wherever we are, Lord, I pray that the love of God, the presence of God, Lord, will carry us. So Jesus, even when I cannot see it, you are still working. Wherever you are, don't ever give up. God is working on your life. Let's keep praying. I'll catch you at the next prayer.
