If your mind feels active or your body feels restless, this moment is for you. Father, in the name of Jesus, I come to You at the close of this day. You have seen everything I have carried. You know what is still on my mind. And through Jesus, You invite me into peace. So I pause. I let the day come to an end. I step away from every concern. I turn my heart toward You. Jesus, I bring You my thoughts. The worries that try to remain. The tension that I still feel. I place them in Your hands. I release the anxiety of this day. I release the pressure I have carried. I release the need to keep thinking. I release it to You. And now, I receive.I receive peace over my mind. I receive calm in my body. I receive rest for my soul. Jesus, cover me as I sleep. Quiet my thoughts. Settle my heart. Surround me with Your peace. I receive. And now I rest—safe, calm, and at peace. Jesus is with you now. Across the world, people are finding rest. From London to Chicago, from Nairobi to Manila, Jesus is bringing peace to those who are ready to sleep. Jesús, descanso en Tu paz esta noche. Jesus Cristo, descanso na Tua paz. SPEAKER_00

Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself, Reverend Van Cooper, wherever you are in the world. Thank you for making daily prayer part of your life and part of the rhythm of your day. It is the late night devotional prayer time. We've made it by the skin of our teeth. Let's hold it for four or five minutes. We are going to pray together. We're going to stand together. We're going to encourage one another. Don't go nowhere. Stay with me. We're in the book of Psalms 4, verse 8. This is the title For Peace, a Sleepful, Safe Night when I feel I need rest without fear or worry. Holy Spirit, we are praying for a peaceful sleep. That we will find safety resting in Jesus Christ. Lord, we want fear and worry to melt like wax at the name of Jesus. So dear God, we pray for rest, peace, and safety as this night comes to a close. Lord, we got here by the skin of our teeth. Lord, it feels like we've been in the arena with the bear and the lion. It feels like we've been in the arena of life today, pulled this way and that way. We feel exhausted. We got fatigue all through our bones and our body. But right now we are praying when I feel anxiety at night. It will go at the name of Jesus and our sleep will be sweet. In the greatest name in heaven and earth, Lord, we stand, we sit, we be still. We pause and we breathe. We inhale and we exhale and we pray through the great book of Psalms 4, verse 8. In peace, I will lie down and sleep. For you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety wherever we are across this world. Lord, as we stretch out live from London, England, from London all the way to Chicago, from Chicago all the way to South Korea, North Korea, China, the Philippines. Lord, we pray for Taiwan right now, China. We are praying for breakthrough right the way through Asia, right the way through America, all the way through, dear God, Eastern Europe. We are praying for the breakthrough, the love of Jesus Christ. But Lord, I pray. Lord, as the sun has already set live here in London, England, Lord, as we are getting ready to pull the curtains on another day, Lord, we've got to this point by the skin of our teeth. Lord, it's been tough at work, it's been tough at home, it's been in tough in the circle of our life today, and we are feeling extremely drained. And Lord, I pray right now, Lord, that the Holy Spirit, Lord, will just go deeper diving into our hearts. Lord, as we come to the close of this beautiful day, Lord, we call the things that are not as though they are, and we believe that there is peace wrestling over our heart right now. Just wrestling, Lord. Lord, let that peace just wrestle with the fear within. Lord, I thank you that peace is breaking through. Holy Spirit, Lord, we pray that we will find peace and love and safety in the arms of Jesus. But Lord, we come to you as brothers and sisters across the world, as the prayer family, Lord, the daily prayer devotional family. We lock in together. Lord, we carry one another through this beautiful evening. And Holy Spirit, help us to close the laptop lid on today. Help us to turn the key on the ivory towers. Father, wherever we are, I pray that we will rest and we will sleep well tonight. For we are not alone because the Lord is with us and we are grafted into the vine. Nothing can separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus. So Lord, help us to close the curtains on today. Help us, dear God, to breathe, to inhale, to exhale, and to realize that Jesus Christ is the King of the Jews, that you are the great I am, that you are Jehovah Jirah, Jehovah Nissi, the God above all gods, the king above all kings, you are our healer, you are our salvation, you are our redemption, and we come to you right now, and we pause and we be still. Carry them through the early evening, carry them through the early hours until tomorrow, and let their sleep be sweet. Father, bless them from the crown of their head to the sole of their feet. May the Spirit of the Lord give you a beautiful night tonight. Wherever you are, don't ever give up. Sleep well. Good night and God bless. But I invite you to join me tomorrow morning for the early prayer. Good night and God bless.
