The Lord has not stepped away from us. He is still with us, still strengthening us and still holding us securely in His loving care. Whatever this afternoon brings, we do not face it alone. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” — Isaiah 41:10 Heavenly Father, thank You that Your presence never leaves us. Welcome And Settle Into Prayer
SPEAKER_00Welcome to Daily Prayer. I'm Reverend Van Cooper coming to you live from our studios in London, England. Let's open the Word of God together. Let's stand together and let's pray together. However you are, may the Spirit of the Lord carry you. I hope you're well in the mighty name of Jesus Christ at this mid time together as we pray through the word, as we hold on to Scripture. We are never going to give up praying. But whether you've been worshiping, journaling, just lifting the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, or maybe the world is trying to distract you from the power of prayer. Without further ado, I invite you to lock with me, to stay with me for these four to five minutes, but also continue this journey of prayer.
Isaiah 41:10 Do Not Fear
SPEAKER_00And wherever you are, let's go straight to Isaiah 41. Grab yourself a Bible, open up the Word of God. We're in Isaiah 41, verse 10. This is the title of our prayer together. Do not fear. I am strengthening you. Lord, let those words just penetrate my mind. Lord, let those words penetrate the skin in which I walk in. Let those words penetrate my heart. Do not fear. I am with you. I am strengthening you. I am the first. I am the last. But Lord, help us not to fear. Lord, the panic comes in, dear God, like a tsunami wave. The fear starts to rise. The doubt comes from the corners of life. But Lord, I thank you. As the world tries to draw us, the world tries to tug us, the world tries to trap us, we rise on wings as of eagles. And Lord, as we pray through, as we walk through the scripture through Isaiah 41, verse 10, this is what the word of God says to you and to me. So do not fear, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Spirit of the living God, we're not going to be dismayed because you are our God. We're not going to allow fear to penetrate this skin. Lord, I thank you that new seasons are arising, that plans are coming down. Holy Spirit, I thank you that the love of God is over our lives. But Lord, we are looking for an uplift in our lives. Lord, we're looking for an uplift, a spiritual rising.
Asking For Courage Strength Presence
SPEAKER_00And Lord, as we pray for three areas of hope, Lord, we are hoping for greater courage. We are hoping for greater strength. We are hoping for greater presence from the Almighty God. Jehovah Jirah, Jehovah Nissi, Jehovah Shalom. You are our healer. You are our redeemer. You are the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. And Father, we are seeking your heart. Lord, we are seeking the Father's heart. And Lord, we need to do a Jacob on our God. We've got to wrestle with God. Father, I want to wrestle until I get that blessing. Because Lord, I need more courage. Lord, I need more strength to keep pressing. And Lord, I need your presence. And Father, I pray, dear God, as we wrestle with scripture, we wrestle with prayer. We wrestle, dear God, with certain areas of life. Father, we thank you there that there is breakthrough. And right now, we believe that the power of God is over our lives. And as we walk through Isaiah 41, the Bible says, So do not fear, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed. For I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
Declaring Breakthrough And Unseen Battles
SPEAKER_00Spirit of the living God, we thank you, dear God, that there is wisdom and there is power and there are miracles over our lives. And as we stretch out right now, whatever our time zone is, from this studio live in London, England, all the way to Australia, Brazil, and Canada, Romania, Hungary, and France, we are calling on the God of David who fights our unseen battles. Lord, we lift our hands right now. We rejoice. And Lord, we thank you that there is an uprising, that there is a move of the Holy Spirit in our lives. Father, that courage is starting to burn in our spirit. Strength is starting to get in the bones in which we walk in. Your presence, dear God, is from the crown of our head to the sole of our feet. Father, we thank you that the Holy Spirit is with each and every one of us, that all things are possible to those who believe. And we are believing for miracles. We are believing for breakthrough. From the battlefield to the prison, from the prison to the boardroom, from the boardroom to the field of life, to the hospice, to the hospital, to the ironing ball, to the scaffold of life, to construction, to retail, to law, to education, whatever we are doing. We believe that the spirit of the living God is moving in our hearts right now. And we come to the cross of Calvary and we call on the God of David and we say, Father, you are the God of Israel. You are Jehovah Jirah. Lord, we need to hear the Lion of Judah roaring over our lives because Lord, we want to stand up, Lord. We want to be strong in the word. We want to walk in our miracles. Lord, we believe in miracles. We believe in the power and the word of God. And Lord, I ask you, Father, that your love will just come down, Lord, cascade over each and every one of us. Lord, we're stretching out because Lord, we come to that posture. We come to that realization right now that fear can never win. Because the Lord is with us. Strengthen us. And Lord, I thank you that your faithfulness upholds us in the greatest name. In the name of Jesus Christ. Father, from the crown of our head to the soul of our free, Lord, anoint us afresh and carry us in Jesus' name.
