Psalm 46:1 (NIV) — When Everything Feels Unsteady, Remember That Jesus Is Your Safe Place Live from London, England — where faith meets the world in daily prayer and global hope. Before the day gets busy, there is a quiet moment when you can bring your whole heart to Jesus. Perhaps you woke already thinking about what needs to be done, who needs you, or something you wish you could change. Maybe you don’t know what today will bring. PSALM 46:1 (NIV) “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.” Father, thank You that before we face anything today, You are already here. Jesus, be our safe place when our thoughts begin to race and our confidence feels small. We don’t ask You to make every difficulty disappear. We ask You to walk with us through whatever this day brings. This morning we pray for people and families across the United States, the United Kingdom, New Zealand, Singapore, Japan and South Africa. Meet people as they wake, begin their journeys, prepare for work, care for children and face responsibilities that may already feel heavy. Give courage to those who are unsure, strength to those who feel vulnerable, and hope to anyone wondering how they will manage today. Holy Spirit, help us remember that courage isn’t pretending we aren’t afraid. Sometimes courage is simply taking the next step while knowing Jesus is beside us. So we give You this morning. We give You our plans, our questions and the things we cannot control. Jesus, go before us today. When something unsettles us, remind us where our refuge is. When we feel weak, remind us that You are near. Let our first response be to turn towards You. Fear will not win, because Jesus is our safe place. Amen. Psalm 46 And The Safe Place

to be okay. We're in Psalms 46, verse 1. This is the title of our prayer. When everything feels unsteady, remember that Jesus is your safe place. Father, we thank you that Jesus Christ is the first and the last. And as we get up right now, Lord, as we just lay in bed right now, Lord, as we pour a cup of tea, a coffee right now, before the phone starts to ring, before the WhatsApp group, before the children start making a noise. Holy Spirit, help us to be still.

Prayer For Steadiness And Peace

But Lord, life feels very unsteady at this moment. Everything feels out of kilter. Lord, it feels like, Lord, there is no balance anymore. Holy Spirit, we pray that you will bring the steadiness of the rhythm of God. And Lord, as we stretch out live from London, England, Lord, we thank you that we are connecting across the world. And Lord, at this early hour, before the sun rises, Lord, before the dew of the grass lifts off, Holy Spirit, before we get out of bed, Jesus, we come to you and we pray for courage, we pray for strength. And Father, will you let us know that all is well? So whatever the rhythm of our day is, Holy Spirit, I pray that you will bring that comfort, you will bring peace, and you will bring hope. And as we walk through Psalms 46, verse 1, God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Lord, we need your help right now because the world, Father God, feels very fragile. Lord, the world feels very awkward and very unsteady. And Lord, we need a steadiness. Lord, we need the power of the Holy Spirit. Lord, help us to get out of bed in courage. Help us to get out of bed, dear God, in the glory and the power and the anointing of God. Because you are our refuge and you are our strength. An ever-present help in trouble. And whatever this day is going to do, however, this hour is going to unfold, Lord, we stretch out right now. Lord, we get out of the bed. Lord, we stand up and we say, This is the day that the Lord has made. We shall rejoice and be glad because we believe in miracles. And wherever we are, from the four corners of this world to this studio, live in London, England, all the way to the United States, New Zealand, Singapore, Japan, South Africa, we're calling on the God of David. We're calling on Jehovah Jirah. Lord, this world feels very unsteady. And right now, Lord, as we get up, we comb our hair, we brush our teeth, we jump in the shower, we get the house ready, we get the kids ready. Lord, whatever the rhythm of this hour is, Lord, bring peace. And Father, I thank you from the bottom of our heart. I thank you, dear God, as we are in an overflow. Lord, we're going to overflow with faith today. We're going to overflow with your presence because your presence is a constant in trouble. Lord, whether we're at the mountaintop, whether we're at the lower point, the pinnacle or midway, wherever we are, your presence is a constant. And right now we stretch out and we say, Holy Spirit, dear God and heavenly Father, Lord, be that refuge and strength. Lord, be that strength, Lord, and let us find that refuge right now. But Lord, wherever we are, from the battlefield to the boardroom, I pray, dear God, that the Spirit of the Living God will carry us through this day. Lord, as we climb out of bed, we kick this duvet off, Lord, we comb our hair, we brush our teeth, we get ready for the rhythm of today. Holy Spirit, bring peace into our lives and over our lives. And thank you that Jesus is walking with us through the valleys, through the trials, through every area of
