Psalm 37:5 (NIV) — When You Can’t Control What Happens Next, Put Your Plans in Jesus’ Hands Live from London, England — where faith meets the world in daily prayer and global hope. The day is moving now, and perhaps things are already happening differently from how you expected. A plan has changed, someone hasn’t responded, a decision is still waiting, or something outside your control is making you uneasy. Take a breath. You don’t have to solve everything before you can have peace. Bring it to Jesus. Lord Jesus, we place this day into Your hands. You know the plans we have made and the things we cannot control. Where we are holding too tightly, help us release them. Where we are tempted to become frustrated, give us patience. And where we are uncertain about what comes next, remind us that You are already there. We pray for people and families across Germany, Kenya, Austria, Canada, Australia and Belgium. Be close to those dealing with changing circumstances, difficult decisions, pressures at work or concerns for someone they love. Give them wisdom to respond well and grace not to carry burdens that belong in Your hands. Jesus, we trust You with the things we understand and the things we don’t. We don’t need to know every outcome before we can take the next step. Help us do what is ours to do today, and leave what is beyond our control with You. Let Your peace settle over our hearts. Give us confidence that trusting You does not mean we have stopped caring; it means we know where to place what we cannot carry. Fear will not win, because Jesus holds what I cannot control. Amen. Psalms 37:5 And Today’s Focus

life. We're going to jump straight through to Psalms 37, verse 5. Make a cup of tea, grab a bite to we. It is the mid-morning time as we gather for the power of prayer. Please continue to share these prayers out and stay with us for the duration of this day. This is the title of our prayer together. Psalms 37, verse 5. When you can't control what's happening, put your plans in the hands of Jesus. Holy Spirit, help me to put my thoughts, my plans in the hands of the Messiah. But Lord, as we stretch out live from this studio in London, England, Father, we come to the cross of Calvary. Lord, as we watch the kettle boil, Lord, we grab a cup of tea and a coffee.

Breathe And Ask For Calm

Lord, we just step to the side of life for four to five minutes and we say, Holy Spirit, take the pressure off. Lord, take the pressure off. And Father, help us to walk confidently and in the trust and in the power of the Holy Spirit. Lord, we need to take a breath. Lord, we need to breathe. And Lord, I pray that you will breathe down the corridor of our lungs right now. Lord, will you clear our lungs? Will you sweep through our bodies right now? Lord, we believe in miracles. And Lord, we commit our ways to the Lord. Father, as we pray through Psalms 37, verse 5, the Bible says, Commit your ways to the Lord. Trust in him, and he will do this. But Father, the world is ferocious. The world is so powerful. But Lord, I've got to remind myself that I serve and belong to the God of Israel. And right now, wherever we are, Lord, pour out your spirit. Lord, whatever this day is going to bring, remove the confusion, remove the fears, and Lord, help me to put my plans in the hands of the Father. And Lord, help me to let go and to let God.

Let Go Of What You Cannot Control

Lord, when I can't control what's happening next, help us to let go of the suitcases. Help us to let go of the rucksacks, the backpacks of life. Lord, we come to you as we stretch out live from London, England, all the way to Germany, all the way to Kenya, all the way to Austria, Canada, Australia, and Belgium. Lord, we're looking for the fire of God. Lord, we need the power of the Holy Spirit. And Lord, we cannot, dear God, control whatever happens next. But Lord, we believe in miracles. So Lord, bring that calmness, bring that stillness. Holy Spirit, when the world is tempting us, Lord, when we're trying to get out of frustration, bring the patience, bring the stillness. Lord, carry us through the uncertain hours. Carry us through the uncertain days. But Lord, we believe that there is healing. And Lord, help us to let go of what we cannot control. Help us, dear God, not trying to navigate everything in our lives. Lord, give us confidence, give us that power, give us fresh anointing. Let your glory, let your mercy be over us right now. Every circumstance of life, every difficult decision, every pressure at work, every pressure at home. Father, let us walk in the glory and the power. And Lord, let us live by faith. Help us to come to the understanding it's not by our strength, it's not by our ways, it's by the power of the living God. And Lord, I pray that frustration won't lock into us. I pray that fear won't grab a hold of us. And as we stretch out, dear God, I thank you that the power of God is over our lives. Lord, whatever the rhythm, whatever the situation, wherever we are right now, Lord, as we pray out from this studio, all the way to Belgium, Australia, Canada, Austria, Kenya, and Germany, we believe that there is power. Every nation, every continent, every heart that's with us right now. So Lord, help us to pause, to grab our breath, to sit to the side of life, and just say, Jesus, your ways are higher than our ways. Your thoughts are beyond our thoughts. And Lord, what we cannot control, what we cannot, dear God, control to what happens next. Lord, I believe by faith, I believe in the power of the word of God.

Faith For The Day Ahead

And as we stretch out and we walk through Psalms 37, verse 5, commit your ways to the Lord. Trust in him, and he will do this. Father, we believe that you are doing a new thing. And Lord, when's it going to happen? It is happening now. So, Lord, help us to take our eyes off of our own plans. Help us to look across the platform of life. Help us, dear God, to walk with Jesus Christ. Whatever we are going through, we believe that the power of God is over our lives and nothing can separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus. Give us that confidence to trust, give us that faith to keep walking, and Lord, give us a heart to receive. Lord, we believe no eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those that love him. God loves you. God is in full charge of our lives. Let's not navigate our way through this day. Let's trust in Jesus Christ, the author and the perfecter of our faith. Don't ever give up. You are anointed, you are blessed. From the battlefield to the prison, from the prison to the barber shop, wherever you are right now. Hold on to the word of God.
