Recognizing anxiety begins with recognizing what’s happening underneath it.

So often, our anxious reactions feel sudden and unexplained. But beneath the surface, they are often connected to fears, wounds, beliefs, or patterns we may not even realize are shaping our responses.

In this episode, Angie begins the five-part "Talk to Your Triggers" framework by stepping into Psalm 139:23. This conversation reminds us that peace starts with honesty before God and the courage to invite Him to search our hearts and reveal what may be fueling our anxiety.

What you’ll hear in this week’s episode

  • Why recognizing anxiety is the first step toward healing
  • What it means to pray the brave prayer, “Search me, God”
  • How God’s testing is more like a loving examination than a harsh judgment
  • The connection between anxious responses and deeper heart issues
  • The reminder that God reveals truth to heal us, not shame us
