Episode 9. Country Rock

In this special episode we listen to the merging influence of country music with rock that created a unique genre initially spearheaded by Rick Nelson and evolved into a distinct music style by the likes of The Byrds, The Flying Burrito Brothers with Gram Parsons and others. Within a few years the country rock style would gain a massive audience and enjoy a commercial breakthrough in the coming decade of the 1970's. We Listen to great examples and hear the audio evolution of this music form in this episode.
