Show Notes Chapter Markers

The Grateful Dead were one of the first Psychedelic bands to emerge from the Bay Area to define what would be called the "San Francisco Sound". This episode spotlights their musical highlights from those early Psychedelic years up to the conclusion of the band following the death of founder Jerry Garcia in 1995.

Whether you're a longtime fan or a newcomber of The Dead sound then this episode will be perfect to acquaint yourself to the band or to simply relive fond memories and experiences of the band.
