In England in 1968, there was a lingering effect from the previous year's Summer of Love. Bands that finally got the opportunity to record their own songs, were still trying to catch up with Sgt. Pepper, The Beatles masterpiece. But Flower Power reached its end by 1968, and the public's interest shifted to harder sounding rock. But there were alot of great records that were released though they didn't get much regard. Today, those records are revered by collectors and command alot of money on eBay and Discogs.
