In this episode, I am joined by Accredited Exercise Physiologist and Mentor, Daniel Arbilla. He is passionate about helping people who live with pain return to doing the things that they love.

We discuss the common myths and misconceptions we often come across in our practice :

  • Poor posture results in neck and back pain
  • I have to lift items with my legs and not my back 
  • Stretching and foam rolling prevents injury  
  • I have to feel a burn in my muscles to be making progress at the gym  
  • Scan results correlate directly to symptoms
  • Trigger points in the neck and shoulders need to be released for it to feel better
  • Running is bad for your knees
