Harry and Draco are officially beefing, and Gilderoy Lockhart is officially an idiot | Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (Tea Leaves S2 E5)

In this episode, the hidden force within Hogwarts continues to roam the castle, petrifying students and ghosts alike. Tensions on the quidditch pitch rise, and suspicions of who this heir could be rise with them. An unexpected suspect rises to the top of the pool: Harry. Enjoy!

So without further ado, let's get into today's episode.

Quick Recap and Dumbledore’s office

So, as we do with all of our tea leaves, we will begin with a quick recap of what happened last week. I will, of course, link that episode in the show notes. Uh, episode 328, Tea Leaves, Season 2, Episode 4. So let's let's go through this. The episode begins with Harry and Ron's arrival at Hogwarts. They have crashed into the Wamping Willow, and the first sequence of the episode is Snape taking Ron and Harry up to the castle. Uh so there is some there is some trouble to be doled out. Uh but unfortunately uh for Snape, Harry and Ron get off with a simple detention. Harry serves detention with Lockhart, addressing all of his fan mail, and that's where he first hears the voice. He hears voice of the basilisk in the walls, and that really begins the conflict for the season. Uh after that we have Quidditch practice, which is interrupted by the Slytherin team, and that's the whole, you know, eat slugs, and we, you know, get uh introduced to the whole idea of mud bloods, and this is, you know, could maybe be discussed a potential flashback to go there. We run we ran through uh the DADA class with the Cornish Pixies, and then we had the Death Day Party, and kind of the final big climax was at the very end where after the Death Day Party, Harry hears the voice in the walls again, but it's louder, it's more intense, and with Heron and Armine he runs after it, and they uh eventually stumble across that terrible, terrible scene with Mrs. Norris petrified, water all over the floor, and we have the uh written in blood on the wall. The chamber of secrets has been opened. Enemies of the air, beware. And that's where we begin. So the very first scene of this episode is Dumbledore's office. This is a really, really important scene because it kicks off the whole idea of you know the petrifying, you know, powers of the basilisk. Dumbledore determines from examining Mrs. Norris that she is not dead, she is simply petrified, which of course is much to the relief of Filch, who is so worried about this. And Dumbledore goes through some silent observation. I think it's it's important that it's you know, it's silent. They aren't talking. Dumbledore's just examining, and then Lockhart. Uh, of course, this is with with many of the scenes in this episode, it's it's uh funny. Uh Lockhart will be quite the idiot. He is gonna come across as quite the idiot, and this scene is no different. He is trying to tell Dumbledore all these different things he could be, you know, trying to convince him that it's some crazy whatever that he's encountered in his many travels. Of course, Dumbledore is not buying it one bit, and Dumbledore does eventually come to the conclusion that it is a petrification uh that has gotten Mrs. Norris down. Of course, Snape and McGonagall are also there. They're also um offering feedback, but I think Snape less so. Snape is more kind of on the back foot, he's just kind of watching. And this is an interesting, and we will this is the kind of the greater context for the episode that we'll get into later. Um, but the inner workings of the castle are slowly uh becoming less and less opaque. Our um, you know, vision of the professors of Dumbledore is very, you know, rosy. You know, they are the you know the saviors, they've they plucked Harry out of four-point drive and they're perfect in an in in every way. But it's moments like these that are really important to kind of grow that that you know view of them. Because of course, is Lockhart perfect? No. Is are any of them perfect? Of course not. But it's the interplay between them that really shows us that. So it's these moments that are intense, you know. These are these are high stakes. And, you know, it's it's not like they're you know, Harry and Ron are being reprimanded for doing something silly. No, this is a serious, this is serious business. And the professors are similarly, you know, kind of showing that seriousness. They're they're for once showing their knowledge. I think it would be a good choice for the filmmakers in in the TV show to have, you know, these high-level discussions, like they're discussing what it could possibly be, you know, magic that the trio have never heard of, that we've never heard of, you know. I think that that would do us well. It would show us how serious this situation is. So this scene with Dumbledore should be very subdued, it should be very intense. You know, we don't really know what's going on, we don't really know what he's thinking, we don't really know what he's feeling, but still we can read the intensity on his face and in the room. You know, I think it's up to them if, you know, about music and sound effects and you know how much uh you know speaking there is. But I think most of the communication should be, you know, body language should be should be uh you know, these these very subtle things. I think that would that would really make it more effective. Um and especially with the contrast of Lockhart, I think that that would be uh particularly impactful, and especially considering Lockhart is offering up every single thing he can think of. I mean, of course, all he wants is to come across as like the smart, you know, someone, you know, the the the person who knows it all. Uh but of course that's very far from the truth, and I'm sure I'm honestly surprised that he kept up this act, even though he was not among the students, and that he uh clearly knows that Dumbledore could see right through whatever he might say. And I get it, like he can't just drop it, you know, the second he's alone, because of course it is an act for the teachers too. But still, Lockhart is trying to push through the conversation. He doesn't even have the decency to let them do the work, you know, he can't recognize the seriousness of the situation. And I think that could also be a contrast, you know, it could show us more about his character, but it could also show us just how much this moment means. You know, there's there's some heavy stakes lying on the shoulders of of Dumbledore, you know, lying on this whole situation as Dumbledore's examining this, this, this body and trying to figure out what the heck is going on. But Lockhart still insists on breaking in. So I think it's it's it's the contrast that shows us uh in particular just how mm how meaningful this whole thing is. And of course, Harry and Ron and Hermione, they are there, but they should be silenced. They should not be speaking at all. They should be so terrified seeing Dumbledore in action. You know, it's a it's a very strange thing seeing Dumbledore uh not in this you know very warm kind of attitude. He's he's he's locked in, you know, for lack of a better word, he is locked in in this scene. So that is what I really want to have come across with this. So we begin in Dumbledore's office and we move on from there. Alright, let's move on.

The Gryffindor vs. Slytherin Quidditch Match

Next up, we have the big Quidditch match. This is the big Quidditch event for this uh episode, and absolutely maybe even for the season. This is the big Gryffindor Slytherin match. Of course, this was set up in the last episode with their conflicting practice schedule, and now they are finally on the pitch to duke it out for real. And there are a few key things that I think should happen in this uh moment. And one of them is Draco and Harry, though these this is a relationship that is going to continue to evolve, but it is especially potent on the Quidditch pitch. So this is the first book that Malfoy is a seeker. After Lucius bought the entire team, brand new Nimbus 2001's, uh Draco magically found his way onto the team. And to his credit, he's not terrible, like he could be so much worse, but you know, it's definitely uh the money that got him there. But still, but still, Draco is good enough to put up a fight. And let's just say Harry's not happy, and their relationship is really tense. I mean, it's it's tense, you know, if they pass each other in the halls, but when they are competing, you know, it is just it is just overwhelming. So I really want to have a a complex interplay between them, you know, crashing shoulders and and doing all these things that they did in the film. But with, you know, our modern technology and the huge budget and the huge length of time we have to explore this and in the TV show, I'm hoping for some more flash, you know, uh for some very creative filmmaking here, you know, following the brooms with cameras, and then we almost like jump into their bodies and like look through their eyes, and we see them holding the broom and they dive, and like it's just it's imagine like imagine a universal ride, you know, in the TV show form. That's kind of what I'm what I'm imagining here. And I I really want that, you know. I want to feel the intensity, I want to be in there with them, really riding uh along, you know, ride riding this broom and really feeling the intensity of the moment. So I am hoping for some really intense interplay uh and some some big moments here. So Draco and Harry are going to be clashing heads for sure. Another important part of this scene is the bludger. Dobby is not done yet, and the bludger is going to make a big appearance here, and of course, that is that is gonna be a big moment for uh this whole sequence is this this bludger. Dobby first blocked the platform of nine and three quarters to prevent Ron and Harry from going through it to get to Hogwarts, but clearly that didn't work. So Dobby thought, hmm, let me just let me let me almost kill him, so maybe they'll send him home. That's another thing that they were thinking. Honestly, our Dobby, I would not take this route because first of all, Harry could get healed even easier at Hogwarts than at home. So I don't even know why they would say, hmm, you're you need serious medical attention away with you. Like that doesn't seem like quite the right response. But of course, Dobby isn't thinking, you know, he isn't thinking rationally. All he really wants is to send Harry home. Dobby wants to protect Harry from the terrible goings on at Hogwarts that Dobby is is is is is privy to. So anyway, we will get into that specifically later. But the bludger isn't a very important part of the scene. Also because uh Harry is confused why it's following him, like it's clearly targeting him. You know, this this bludger is not going for anybody. It is clearly targeting him. And it is it's a serious uh, you know, it it it it really gets in the way of his game because it the it's following him around. He has to run from the bludger. You know, he's not he's he's a seeker, you know, he's he's you know trying to find this this snitch. You know, he's not he's not you know the runner. Good one, good one, I know. Uh so I also do like in the films, you know, how they kind of like dipped below the field and we're kind of going through that like like wooden, you know, uh the you know, the the supports for the field and all that and really exploring, and then they get launched out and the bludger's smashing through the wood and following them and doing all these things. Like that's that I think works well, you know, because it shows the you know how intense and crazy this scene is, you know, the blue everything's flying off the rails, everything's happening all at once, and that's kind of the feeling I want here. And it's good foreshadowing for later because this conflict between, you know, you could say, I guess Harry, you know, as Harry's Harry and Draco can maybe represent Tom Riddle. There's there's there's something there for sure. There's something there for sure. And I want to highlight that now. You know, I want to highlight Harry's conflict with Slytherin. So this game should be intense. It should be bloody, you know. These kids, these are they are bitter rivals on the Quidditch pitch. So I I want to see some blood, you know. They should be fighting. This is this is not a clean game. I think it is important that we see that, you know, that there's there's some clear cheating going on. Um, and I think that would also add to the intensity. So this this this quidditch this Quidditch match should be important. And I in the books, they're so you know, they're so detailed. So I am really looking forward to seeing a full, detailed, you know, maybe even multiple full detailed Quidditch matches on the screen. I think that would be a really cool thing. So the Quidditch match is a really, really important part of this episode, and it really highlights some some some good tensions. Um But the end of the Quidditch match is nigh, and of course, the Harry and Draco's uh race is getting more and more intense, and I think I'm leaving up to the filmmakers to exactly decide what they're how how they want to do this, but here's what I'm thinking. Of course, we shouldn't have the same thing as the first season. So, what I'm thinking is Harry and Draco are side by side, they are both reaching, they're both going out. Harry sees the bludger coming on, and he instead of diving away and giving giving it to Mouthboy, he just takes the bludger, and that's how he his his arm breaks, and then with a broken arm, he's reaching, and then he gets the snitch, and and and the match is over. So it should be clear. Uh, I shouldn't say the so however they exactly do it is up to them. That's how I would do it. But here's what I do want. I want to make sure that it is clear that Harry kind of just eats the bludger. You know, I I I want to make that clear that he is willing to take that uh to take that that hit uh in order to get the snitch. I think it shows how much the game means to him and it shows how much he's willing to sacrifice. Sacrifice is gonna be a growing theme as these seasons draw on. So I want to j I want to make sure we see his willingness to make sacrifices for a greater cause early on. So not to, you know, not to overanalyze every moment and and and every action, but it is important that we make these uh plant these seeds now so they can truly grow to fruition as these seasons go on. So Harry has the snitch, his arm is in many pieces, and he goes back to earth. So next up we've got some some lovely medical attention. Everyone crowds around Harry. He is uh he is a hero of the match, Gryffindor wins, but unfortunately, his arm is definitely broken, and Lockhart is the first on the scene, and oh boy, does Lockhart take it into his own hands? He, in his pursuit of trying to seem like the smartest one in the room, Lockhart takes a look at Harry's arm and says, Oh, it's broken, but let me fix it. Harry is trying his very, very best to uh uh stop Lockhart, but still it happens. Lockhart casts a spell and all the bones on Harry's arm are gone. And oh my gosh. The film doesn't do it justice, but just imagine that. Like, imagine your your arm is broken, you can't move it, and then and then you you like you grab like you squeeze it, and you it's like it's like play-doh. It just like goes straight through. Like, that is nauseating. That's just that's just so unpleasant. I am so sorry for Harry for having to go through that. That is just awful. Oh god. And I'm I from the you know the the few behind the scenes things we've seen, it's pretty graphic, you know. Those I we mentioned the the the flopper worms a few episodes ago, I think, that they showed us in the Finding Harry special. Those are pretty realistic, and I would certainly not want to see uh a boneless arm to the same level of realism as the flopper worms. So it's gonna be it's gonna be intense. Whatever they decide to do, it's gonna be intense for sure. But I'm definitely looking forward forward to seeing that. And I'm looking forward to seeing how Lockhart is is is gonna be you know kind of portrayed in in this way. So very, very cool. Um so Harry is unfortunately down for the count, and now he must go up to the hospital wing. So that is our next beat of the story. So let's move on.

The Hospital Wing

So we are now in the hospital wing, and this is another look into the inner workings of the castle. Because it's a it's it's kind of a deep dark uh you know setting. And what I mean by inner workings is it's like it's it's kind of like when the castle is on and when the castle is off. That's kind of what I'm imagining here. Because especially with the contrast of the Quidditch match, the castle is off. Like for sure. It is nighttime, everyone's sleeping, Harry's just chilling in the hospital wing, that's just how it is. You know, so it's it's it's pretty, you know, it's pretty simple like that. A Quidditch match, the castle is for sure on, you know, because everyone's excited, everyone's running around, there's food, there's kids, there's, you know, reliable, there's sports, it's just it's a it's a very exciting time. But it's especially when the castle is off that the important things happen. And the uh hospital wing is no exception. So let's start from the beginning. There are two kind of portions of this hospital wing, or I guess you could say three portions of Harry's stay at the hospital wing. The first one is when he gets there, Madame Pomfrey has to give him, has to dish him a few words because he like the bones in his arms are gone. They're not broken, they're literally gone. And she is right, that regrowing bone is painful and nasty, and he Harry is not gonna like it. So thanks, Lockhart. Thanks. So Harry has to go through this terrible process, and he tastes this apologies potion, and apologies, gosh, that's later. Excuse me, gosh, he tastes the uh skeletro, and it is like awful. I mean, he you know, and of course she says, What were you expecting? Pumpkin juice? And gosh, boy is she right this thing, this is disgusting. So Harry is not happy, he is not happy with Lockhart, and it's important that we, you know, he makes note of that, that he is not happy with Lockhart at all. Because he's gonna kind of that that disdain is only gonna grow, I'm sorry to say. Lockhart is not exactly in for a pleasant journey as as this story continues, especially in the next few episodes, gosh. So Harry should continue to grow his disdain for Lockhart because when the time comes to go down into the Chamber of Secrets, you know, his his and Ron's kind of like confrontation of Lockhart should be, you know, pretty intense. You know, it should not it should be clear that they don't really like him. So I think it's important that we start not really liking him early on. So that's the first section of uh Harry's Hospital Wing stay. The next portion is Dobby. So we fast forward into the nighttime, and Dobby appears to Harry. And this is uh the next portion of his stay because this is where we learn that it is Dobby who is doing all these things. It was Dobby that blocked the train station, it was Dobby that bewitched this bludger, and it is because Dobby wants Harry to leave Hogwarts. He knows that Harry does not want to, but Dobby also knows that bad things are going to happen at the castle. And he just can't communicate that to Harry because, of course, as he is a house elf, he is under the contract of Lucius. You know, he can't say anything to undermine his master, he can't share that information. So he is trying as hard as he can in any other way to get Harry out of the castle. And it's okay for the for the viewers for us to be a little annoyed with Dobby. I certainly was when reading this. I was certainly annoyed with Dobby because the interactions that we've had with him, first at at Fort Perfect Drive, he almost got Harry, you know, in trouble. And then, like, seriously in trouble. And then now we're learning that it is him who stopped Harry from getting the train and who caused Harry's arm to break and him to cause, you know, spend the night in the hospital wing. So at this point, we're not really big fans of Dobby. We're honestly not not big fans at all. Uh, it is a it is a not it it is okay for us to not not really like him at this point because unfortunately, that's that's the reality of the of the situation. Harry doesn't really like Dobby either. And we grow to love Dobby. That's the that's the you know important part of this relationship is that we grow to love Dobby. And I think that is where this this this growth has to start somewhere, and that somewhere is here. So thank you, Dobby, for trying your very best. We can appreciate in hindsight his efforts to keep Harry out of the castle. But unfortunately, in this moment, Harry is not pleased with Dobby's efforts to, first of all, stop him from going to Hogwarts in the first place and then harm him so badly that he has to leave. So thanks, Dobby, but also no thanks. It's kind of a rough, a rough night for Harry. But Dobby can't stay forever because the third phase of this hog of this hospital wing sequence is about to begin. They hear footsteps, and Dobby says, Okay, Harry, I'll see you, good luck. And he goes. Of course, in many words, in Dobby-related words, that's that's that's the the gist. Because this is where the true intensity of the scene begins. Because Harry hears footsteps, he pretends to be asleep. And we see Dumbledore and McGonagall, and they are bringing in something something pretty terrifying. It is Colin Creevy. He has been petrified. And he is out. He's out for the count. He has his camera already. Oh, he is his camera frozen to his face. And he is looking through it. He is shocked and he is petrified. And McGonagall and Numbledore are the ones who found him. So we will learn this later, but of course, Colin Creevy was trying to get a photo of Harry in the hospital wing. He snuck out of bed. So it's a very uh it is a it is a you know fan-based moment that Colin Creevy had, and unfortunately, it did not do him well. So Colin is petrified, and this is where it starts to get intense. Because although we had, you know, the the enemies of the air, beware, uh, they have been warned and in the last episode, we only had a cat who was petrified. We'll live. You know, I'll be honest, we'll live. It's more scary as an omen, especially because we know she's not dead, she's only petrified. That's okay. But now we have people, you know, we have people getting petrified, and that's a little scary. It's a little scary to see. Like the sight of Colin Creevy should be a little jarring, you know. I don't want to be like, oh my, like, I don't want to clutch my pearls and look at Colin Creevy, you know. It should be a little unsettling. Like seeing this kid pet like frozen, petrified, lying rigid on this like hospital bed. He can't he can't speak, he can't say, like, he can't move. That's scary. That's really scary. And I want I want that to come across. And again, this is kind of that moment of Hogwarts is off, you know, Dumbledore and McGonagall are in teaching and you know, taking care of their students, and you know, being these flourishing, you know, you know, parent figures of the castle. They are faced with these dark, you know, ideas, with these, with these almost seemingly impossible challenges, and they have to fight to work against the forces of evil that are seeming to crawl out of every wall in in in Hogwarts. So they are really trying to contain this evil that is ever present. And that intensity should come across so clearly in this scene. So, so, so clearly in this scene. Uh, so that is the hospital wing. It is important that we have that. Uh, and there is there's more intensity to come. So let's move on.

The trio decides on using poly-juice potion to continue their investigation, then go dueling

So, this isn't a huge, huge part of the episode, but I think it's important that we begin that process now. I want the trio to decide on polyjuice potion. That is the next part of this episode. It should be quick. Harry gets out of the hospital wing, um, and they, you know, meet up in the in in the common room, and they, you know, Harry and Hermione ask how, or Ron and Hermione asks how Harry's stay was, and Harry tells him all about it, tells them about Dobby, and then spills the beans about Colin Creevy. And, you know, there should be undercurrents of them suspecting Malfoy of being the heir, because of course he's a Slytherin, and naturally that's the only qualifier. Uh, but another function of that Quidditch match should be to grow Harry's dislike of Malfoy. So naturally, they would think, oh well, they lost in Quidditch, so they're probably killing people already. So I think that's a pretty, pretty reasonable jump to make. So they say, okay, we have to find out if it's Malfoy or not. And they eventually decide on Polyjuice Potion. Who I and he says, Oh, I know, I know a good one, and it's Polyjuice. And they can transfigure themselves, they can transform to other people and go uh ask questions of Malfoy. So that is what they that's what they decide on. And this is when they begin stealing things from Snape's stores and brewing uh Polyjuice Potion in the girls' bathroom because no one apparently goes in there and it is takes like a month to make. So good luck to them. Good luck. So after we decide that, it's off to the dueling club. That is a really, really fun uh club that I am so excited to see on the screen. It comes across really well. And it's funny, I saw um if you know it, maybe you've you've you've heard or not, but uh Tom Felton had a stint on Broadway as uh Draco Malfoy in In The Cursed Child. Actually, I'm not sure if it's over or not. It might be. It might not be, I don't know. Whatever it is, he played his his you know, his character on the stage, which from what the you know the I didn't I didn't see in person, but from the from the clips I saw, you know, from the marketing things that I saw, it seemed like a pretty interesting thing. Uh and I saw one of the uh there's a scene where Draco and Harry are dueling again, and Tom Felton held his wand up to his face, you know, like they did in the film. He said, you know, scared Potter, like, you know, his famous line, of course, the crowd went wild. So I was I was reminded of that. So I'm super excited that we can bring the dueling club back. But the dueling club is unfortunately not exactly a success. It of course is Lockhart running it, and Lockhart does not know what the heck he's doing. He cannot cast a spell for the life of him. He does like I I love the um details in the books about how he, you know, is like for for like a protection charm, I think, before he teaches them, he does like some some like fancy move of his wand, like fancy, fancy, fancy, and then he drops it. Like, that's like that's that's the best he can do. So really funny stuff. I am I am looking forward to seeing Lockhart on screen doing all that. And of course, Snape is is just unbelievably disappointed. He cannot believe that he agreed to do this, uh, and he is you know Lockhart's dummy. But luckily, Snape did not agree to be flung across the room. So when Lockhart and Snape duel, uh they uh of course Snape absolutely destroys him, and of course Lockhart gets up saying, Well, well, I had to make it look real, you know. Of course, in a real duel, you know, he he might not be so lucky, you know. He should make it clear that he's making like snide remarks, like, oh well, you know, you know, he got lucky this time, but when I'm actually trying, then he might not be, you know, things like that just that just make us go, like, oh my god, shut up. So that's gonna be fun. I'm really really looking forward to that. But unfortunately, it's not all fun in games because as the students begin dueling, Harry and Draco have a run-in, and that is where the the intensity of the situation really gets cranked up. Harry and Draco get up to duel. They have their classic, you know, Scared Potter You Wish. I'm hoping those exact words are on the TV show. They're just so iconic. It would it would be too bad if they weren't. So with Scared Potter, you wish, they walk their ten paces, and then Snape go gave Draco some good info. Snape told Draco how to summon a snake. So Draco draws his wand and casts some some advanced spell, and a snake falls onto the uh stage, and it is scary. Everyone's like, oh my gosh, it's a it's a snake, and the snake is, you know, it's it's it's a real snake, it's going around, it's like doing all these, it's it's it's looking at people. And this is where Harry speaks parcel tongue. This is where we begin his parcel tongue journey. Um, I think uh, you know what a what a really cool thing would be is if you know we see this scene from Harry's perspective, you know? So we we we aren't um you know listening to him him speak partial tongue. It's just sound like he's just like speaking English, you know, like hey, hey, stop, like stop, stop. Like, because like the snake is looking at Justin Finch Fletchley, who would be important later. The snake is looking at Justin Finch Fletchley, and Harry is trying to tell the snake to stop, to go away, to leave them alone. And then Snape steps in and and uh gets rid of the snake. So just like that, it's over. But the student body is looking at Harry and they are tongue-sided, they are shocked, they are scared, and it should seem like you know, Harry is confused, like what? I just I was just telling the snake to go away, and I think I saved the day there, but that's not how it seemed. That's not how it seemed at all. So, as Harry and Ron, you know, are telling him, oh my gosh, or no, gosh, as as Ron and Hermione are yelling, Harry, oh my gosh, you you're speaking partial tongue. This is this is great. Like, I didn't even know you could do that, that's such a crazy thing. And of course, Harry doesn't see what the big deal is, but Hermione tells him, you know, you know, Harry, wizards who speak partial tongue are often death eaters, are often are often the bad guys. So Harry should kind of come to that revelation, like, what? Why am I, you know, why can't I speak partial tongue? This is this is not right. So we have that introduction with the dueling club. So it is important to remember Justin Finch Fletchley. Let's move on.

Justin got attacked!

This is the last few scenes of the episode. I told you, remember Justin Finch Fletchley, because this next item is Justin Finch Fletchley is petrified. He is petrified with nearly headless Nick, and Harry just so happens to find them. So convenient. And this should be, you know, I don't want Harry to like be looking for something or, you know, be out in this at a suspicious time and like happen to stumble across them because that's a little suspicious, but it should just be a regular time, like during the day. They just they just find each other, you know. And uh I think it's it's done well in the books where Harry's walking between classes and then classes get out and everyone sees him. I think that's good because it should be something of a run in. Harry, you know, from what it looked like at the dueling club, Harry was egging the snake on to go and attack Justin. And now that Justin is petrified and Harry's found at the scene, it is not looking good for Harry. No, no, no. But the scary part is nearly headless Nick is also petrified. I think the ghosts should be seat to s should, you know, on the screen should come across pretty eerie, you know, they shouldn't be friendly, but of course, they're just like friendly guys, so I don't want to be afraid of the ghosts. But in their petrified state, I think there's some really good opportunity for some creative liberty. You know, maybe maybe like their eyes go completely blank or something. Or like uh it was described in the book as like dark, like like the like the they had like gone like black, you know, like ghosts are like shimmering, you know, pale, but like it's like that that light had gone out. I think all those are are good options. I'm looking forward to seeing that because of course this is adding to that you know scary sensation that you know even ghosts can be can be can be petrified. Uh yike, this is this is this is this is getting a little scary. So I definitely want that to come across. And this is the final moment of the whole episode. So Harry again is accused, but the the actual last, uh very, very last moment is the diary. Harry finds the diary. So here's here's what's what's happening. At a at a later time, Harry's walking through the halls and he notices water again on the floor, and he goes, Oh gosh, this bathroom again is flooding. He walks to the bathroom in question, it's it's a girl's bathroom, and he goes to the stall where where the uh you know water is coming from, and he sees this diary on the ground. That's the diary, and of course he picks it up, and it's suspiciously it's totally dry. You know, it's not because of course it's you know some pipes burst or whatever, and there's a water everywhere, but the the diary is totally dry. And it's a little suspicious, and we see we should see on the cover TMR. And that's where the episode ends. There we go. What a cliffhanger. I feel like every episode there's some cliffhanger, you know, it's like every episode is perfectly tailored to a good cliffhanger. I'm so, so happy with that.
