Letting go sounds simple…
Until it’s something you’ve become emotionally attached to.
In this episode of The Divas Lounge, we’re talking about the emotional weight so many women carry—and why healing sometimes requires releasing what no longer aligns with your peace, growth, or next season.
Because sometimes the hardest thing to release isn’t the thing itself…
It’s the guilt attached to letting it go.
WHEW.
✨ In this episode, we talk about:
- Why women struggle with letting go
- The emotional exhaustion of carrying what no longer fits
- How guilt keeps us emotionally stuck
- What God may be trying to free you from
- Why release is necessary for healing and peace
Sometimes we keep holding onto:
- old versions of ourselves
- unhealthy attachments
- draining relationships
- emotional responsibilities
- familiarity
Even when God has been trying to move us forward.
And eventually…
you have to decide if you want comfort… or freedom.
✨ Journal Prompt:
What am I still holding onto out of guilt, fear, or familiarity… and what would it look like to finally release it?
💜 Ready to go deeper?
My journal is linked below because healing also requires honesty, reflection, and release.
This is your reminder:
You are allowed to release what no longer aligns… without guilt.
