Ohio Yearly Meeting's Podcast
So, if thee is interested in learning the differences between Conservative Quakers and other Quakers, or would like to understand differences between Quakers and other Christians, thee may well be at the right place. On the other hand, the Conservative Quaker perspective is so strikingly unique in contemporary society, that it will be a balm to many seeking spiritual fulfillment. To assist these seekers is the true intent of publishing our podcast.
A good many of the podcast installments will be presented by Henry Jason. Henry is knowledgeable in the Greek of the New Testament and has a fascinating way of tying the meaning of the original words with the writings of early Friends. Listening to him provides a refreshing view of scripture and is an excellent way to learn about original Quaker theology. Henry's podcasts are usually bible classes and so they are often interspersed with discussions, questions and insightful comments by his students.
The music in our podcasts is from Paulette Meier's CDs: Timeless Quaker Wisdom in Plainsong and Wellsprings of Life available at paulettemeier.com.

The True Christian’s Faith and Experience #023 Revelation (part 2 of 2)
This podcast is devoted to the second half of Chapter 16 on the true Christian’s faith and experience concerning the gospel of salvation.
The nominal Christian can profess and hear this gospel, yet never hear the voice of the Son of God and never enjoy the privileges of the gospel prophesied of by the prophets. The titular Christian who disdains the Light and dwells in darkness has grown to be such a friend of the devil that he will not endure any other gospel than one of living under bondage and service to the devil for his lifetime. This is the message of the ministers of darkness who preach another gospel.
The nominal Christians say there is no complete victory over sin, no overcoming of the devil, no withstanding him in all his temptations, no achieving holiness in the fear of God, and no ceasing from committing sin. There are many believers of this false gospel, i.e. miserable messengers and ministers, who discourage and persuade people that they can never overcome evil spirits.
It is the prayer of Shewen that all men become enlightened by the Light of Christ and reject this unsound doctrine, this unsound gospel of so many false ministers.
