We have a chance to talk with Gordon S. Wood, one of the leading historians of the American Revolution and the founding of the Republic. He has a new book he is working on, "Constitutionalism in the American Revolution," and we also discuss his Pulitzer-Prize winning book The Radicalism of the American Revolution, and his work on Franklin, Adams, and Jefferson. He discusses slavery, the Bill of Rights, the role of the judiciary, and other issues and events surrounding the "most extraordinary development of the last 400 years," the American Revolution.
