Show Notes

Today’s topic is all about breaking into the field of UX. The truth is, most of us have come to the UX field by way of other career paths. Jesse was once a product manager, and Peter worked in marketing. Others have arrived via the paths of psychology, anthropology, market research, and even library sciences. The truth is that you don’t need to be a graphic designer or a human computer interface specialist to work in UX. So can you start your career working in bars and at ski shops and still become a UXer? Find out in this two-part episode featuring our seeker, Matthew Bradley, and our giver, Andrew Astleford. Matthew works as a digital transformation and design thinking coach for a large FMCG company based in Switzerland. Andrew hails from Atlanta, Georgia, where he works as a UX writer for a SaaS company.
