#78 Recap IBJJF Brazilian Nationals, F2W 111, Preview, SUG 8, ADCC Asian Trials, F2W 112
Show Notes

On this weeks show Maine and Josh talk tons of BJJ and professional Brazilian Jiu Jitsu News, including Keenan Cornelius sightings.  We talk about the Polaris Qualifier, Tex Jhonson looking for another team for his worlds registration, and the Grappling Rewind Patch giveaway contest ideas.

After that we move right into the recap of the IBJJF Brazilian Nationals, and how outstandingly difficult the event was to watch.  We talk about the return of Nicholas Meregali and his dominating victory over Kaynan Duarte, and Meregali sweep of both his weight and the absolute class.  We also talk about Isaac Doederlein becoming the second American to win gold at the IBJJF Brasileiros, a feat some put up there with a worlds win.  Given that so many Brazilians have difficulty obtaining visas to compete in worlds in the United States.  We also run through the listed results of the black belt divisions for the men and women's results including Ffion Davies winnning her way closer to a grand slam in 2019.  Maine and voices his gripes with the quality of the broadcast of this major event in 2019.

We move into recaps of Fight to Win 111, in Chicago IL,  Talking about the change of titles Erberth Santos returns after his less than stellar UAEJJF worlds performance to win a decision over Gutemberg Pereira in the main event.  Catherine Perrett retains her title, and some bones get broken on this event. Maine talks about his love of the Mir lock, and Josh does what Josh does and unabashedly gives his opinions of all things.

In the preview section we kick it off with Submission Underground 8 (SUG) now on UFC Fightpass, featuring a mix of MMA fighters and stand out grapplers like Craig Jones, fresh off his Reddit AMA.  Jake Shields, Diego Sanchez, and Gilbert Melendez round out the main card of this event.  Also on SUG is a number of tag team BJJ matches, we have seen this format before and it is quite interesting to watch.

We briefly talk about ADCC Asian Trials, and the lack of information on the event, including lack of registration info, as the site displays an error when requesting the page.  We also do not know of a streaming location for this event, or if it will be broadcast at all.  We hope to be able to better cover the results of this event on next weeks show.

After all that we get into the preview of F2W 112 in Fresno, CA.  This event features Gabriel Arges vs Matheus Diniz in the main event Josh Cisneros vs Dan Dykeman in a brown belt showcase matchup, as well as a plethora of other matches that complete this card.

In the outro section of the show Maine talks with Josh about a very large black eye that the black belt is sporting from the weeks training session.
