We talk about Craig Jones and Josh Hinger winning their respective first two matches by submission in the men's under 88 kg division. Matheus Diniz and John Thor Blank progress in commanding fashion into semifinals as well.

We discuss a major upset with Dante Leon defeating Lucas Lepri by a dynamic backtake in the men's under 77 kg division, the thrilling antics of Vagner Rocha on his campaign into the semifinals, and what could be one of the most exciting matches of the tournament: Garry Tonon vs. Renato Canuto, with Garry winning to proceed to the semifinals. We talk about which competitors have the best chance at defeating reigning 2017 ADCC Champion JT Torres.

In the men's under 66 kg division we talk about Nicky Ryan defeating Shane Hill Taylor only to lose to gi world champion Paulo Miyao, as well as Augusto Tanquinho Mendes two decisive victories. We also discuss the two young guns entering the semifinals, Kennedy Cobrinha Jr. Maciel and Tye Ruotolo.

With Bia Mesquita getting one of the fastest submissions in the women's brackets, she has shown everyone this is her division to lose- we discuss whether Ffion Davies has a chance at dethroning the Queen of the under 60 kg division. The semifinals are poised to be thrilling matches, with Bianca Vasilio and Elvira Karppinen both progressing into the tournament.
