This week on the show Maine and Emil recap Fight to Win 128 in Philadelphia that they got to attend live and shoot a number of interviews with competitors. We also recap BJJ Stars 2 and the domination that is Nicholas Meregali.
In the news section of the show we talk about Keenan opening American JiuJitsu legion, and some of the controversy surrounding his branding. We talk ADCC trials dates and locations. The release of Lachlan Giles leglock antholog, and the information that cam out about Gordon Ryan healing broken hand at ADCC.
After that we move into the recap section of the show talking about Fight to Win 128 in Philadelphia PA, headlined by an ADCC finals rematch between Kaynan Duarte Vs Nicky Rod. This was an exciting match with a much different dynamic than their first meeting two weeks ago. After that we talk about a number of upsets and exciting matches on the card Lucas Pinheiro vs João Miyao that saw dueling toe holds and leg locks exchanged back and forth. More leg locks followed in our discussion of Enrico Cocco vs Mike Padilla. Plus another bloody Fight to Win match between Dylan Royce and Valdir Araujo Jr. Thats not all also on this card we had IBJJF world champion Isaque Bahiense vs Felipe Cesar Silva. After that we recapped BJJ Stars 2 an event that once again showcased how good Nicholas Meregali is. We talk about his ability to finish even against top competition and in the finals, plus debate who at the weight and in the Gi in general is more difficult to compete against. We recap the Mens Openweight bracket, and talk about some other performances that took place on the card.
After that we move into the preview section of the show previewing Preview Fight to Win 129 taking place in Chicago IL, headlined by Talita Alencar vs Catherine Perret
with a Chicago main event between two legends Mark Vives vs Andre Maneco Leite
also on the card a second week in a row is Isaque Bahinese vs Dante Leon in a match sure to push the action and pace.
After that we talk about Rise 8, featuring Frank Rosenthal in a title bout.
The we move onto the Third Coast Grappling Qualifier 2, that featured Bill the Grill Cooper, Jordan Holy, Pedro Marinho, and Lucas Valente.
After that we talk about the Midwest Finishers also taking place in Chicago, that also features some exciting grapplers at 135, including Grappler Union Podcast Javier Palomo, Albert Tapia, and Hanna Sharp.
