In episode 2, DeMoine Adams (@DeMoineAdams) discusses his journey of learning from being raised by his grandparents in Pine Bluff, Arkansas to being a a Division I college athlete and successful student at the University of Nebraska.  DeMoine discusses the importance of having mentors and teachers who have a growth mindset and see the potential of their learners.  DeMoine discusses the importance of peer accountability and modeling.  DeMoine recognizes that learners who exhibit grit and determination are not afraid to ask for help and to utilize the resources around them.  DeMoine explains a difference maker for him as a football player and learner was he was surrounded by coaches who leveraged his strengths.
