Boards and Big Decisions
Show Notes

Today, on The Red State Blues, we have our first of many episodes looking at down ballot offices. Some of the most vital decisions that we make as voters happen further down the ballot than a lot of people pay attention to-- school boards, county commissioners, city council members, college trustee boards, mayors, and special district boards all have a direct effect on our day-to-day life. We’ll be talking to people who currently hold these positions or have held them in the past, about what drove them to run, what their duties are like, and why these down ballot roles are so important.

We’re kicking things off with Nate Martin, member of the Albany County School Board, and Wendy Soto, member of the LCCC Board of Trustees
