Today we sit down with George Ramirez! Super emotional and personal episode for me. 

George Ramirez is a Retired Special Agent/Criminal Investigator with the U.S.
Department of Homeland Security (DHS), where he worked in various investigative
disciplines in the Criminal Investigations Unit. With 36 years of combined service with
both DOJ and DHS, George actively conducted domestic and international criminal
investigations to include Fraud, Identity Theft, Anti-Smuggling, Gangs, Narcotics,
Human Sex Trafficking, Financial/Anti-Money Laundering, and Counter Terrorism.
George has also acted as an undercover operative in numerous human trafficking, identity
theft, fraud, and narcotics investigations over a span of 11 years. Since retiring from
DHS, George has been a Special Investigator conducting Federal National Security
Investigations.
George served a four-year tour in the United States Air Force as a Law Enforcement
Specialist, and was the Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge of Administration and
Training.
George is a currently a member of MARK9 Search & Rescue, and is the K9 Handler for a
Belgium Malinois (Samantha), and both are currently in training for various Search &
Rescue objectives and certifications. George has also started training K9 Leila (also
Belgium Malinois) with plans on pursuing certifications in Explosive Detection.
