87 S4: EP 87 Sway and Jacob Stephens
Today I sat down with Sheriff Deputy Jacob Stephens. Jacob began his law enforcement career in the local jail and then got into patrol as a deputy. Shortly after he transitioned into K9 and his first dog was a wonderful German Shepherd named Dax. Sadly Dax passed away March 4th 2024, and he is currently the handler of Malinois K9 Rip.
We talk law, dogs and shoot the shit from a Marine infantry war vet to a beat cop! Jacob and Rip won "Hard Dog Fast Dog" at the 11th Annual On Point K9 Competition in Scottsville KY earlier this year as well.
