This podcast is Meoshuh’s love letter to the culture and the next generation. As the proverb goes, “It Takes A Village To Raise A Child”. The priority of Village Vibes Only with Meoshuh Jackson is to facilitate rich discussions surrounding raising black children and teens to be future leaders and lead rich, purposeful lives. Insight and resources are shared to assist in raising black youth to be financially, politically, academically and socially conscious as well as leaders in their community and beyond. Conversations on mental, emotional and spiritual wellness in black youth will also be featured. In this episode, attorney and political activist, Qisoundra Flowers, met us in the village to walk us through the importance of black youth and communities of color understanding the law for ourselves and how we can increase political awareness in younger generations. We also discuss the importance of communities of color, specifically black youth, knowing our legal rights and what to do in the event of an unlawful arrest. Knowledge is definitely power!
