In this episode we begin a new experiment with Stuart who happens to be a friend of mine and a member of The Brain BS Community. You will see how we figure out what to work on in our sessions together based on Stuart's emotional state and what he is prepared to focus on. We also will demonstrate how this work can be fun even though it brings up uncomfortable emotions we wish were not there.
I started out the session thinking we would maybe focus on Stuart finally getting that knee replacement he has been avoiding forever in our experiment , but the work took us in a different direction that goes even deeper. This is a good episode for many of you to listen to as Stuart is dealing with circumstances we all encounter in life; such as retirement, grief, and the fear of surgery.
