About Pastor Funke

Funke Adeaga holds two Bachelor’s degrees in History and Law; and after completing her Law degree, she commenced her early career in the Finance sector, but later pursued her dream of establishing - JSapphirah, a unique establishment which designed and manufactured ladies’ shirts.

 She has been a member of the leadership team her local church for 26 years, and currently oversees the Women’s Mentoring Scheme within the church.

 Because of her passion for mentoring, she pursued further studies and holds a Master’s degree in Christian Mentoring.

She later founded “the Christian Mentoring Association”, a body that was set up to raise the awareness and importance of mentoring within the Christian community, as well as promote and improve standards of mentoring practice, through training and support to Mentors, Mentees, Christian leaders and Christian Organisations.

She has since expanded her scope to delivering training in Mentoring for both Corporate Entities and Church Ministries who desire to establish Mentoring Schemes in their organisations. Alongside her passion for Mentoring, Funke is also passionate about Etiquette. She believes that the world would be a much better place if we all learned and practiced ‘proper social behaviour’ when we interact with one another.

 She recently wrote a book – “Because Manners Matter” which is an expression of her passion for Etiquette and she regularly runs etiquette workshops

Funke is passionate about encouraging, developing and empowering women, through the appreciation of their uniqueness and worth in Christ and the maximization of individual God-given potential. She also believes in the complete woman; one who is spiritually developed, astute and well turned out, and her message is that a woman should maximise each season of her life.

She enjoys travelling, and reading.  She is married with 2 Children.
