About Ayo
Ayo Mairo-Ese is a fervent believer of Jesus Christ. With a deep passion for the things of God, Ayo has grown to become a spirited worshipper and a woman of substance by God’s grace.
Born into a Muslim family, she became a Christian at the tender age of 9 and made the personal decision to make Jesus her Lord as a teenager on the 31st of December 1999 in the Redeemed Christian Church of God.
She served as a worker in the Redeemed Christian Church of God for many years in several departments. She also served in the capacity of a Minister before she was ordained a Deaconess in October 2011, one of the youngest at the time.
In 2013, Ayo attended the School of Disciples, a one-year intensive teaching and practical course curated by the General Overseer of the church, Pastor E.A. Adeboye.
Ayo is passionate about women, and is committed to supporting women to flourish, develop themselves and live a fulfilled, complete life according to the will of God. She is also passionate about building kingdom marriages and relationships and is committed to seeing marriages and homes thrive in accordance with God’s vision for the family.
Ayo is a multiple award-winning Radio and Television Personality, an Event Host, Blogger and Public Speaker. She also serves as a mentor to young women.
In 2015, Ayo mobilized a group of her friends to go on a 3-month prayer challenge which birthed the Praying Women Circle (PWC), a community of Christian women whose numerical strength currently ranks in hundreds, with committed members across the continents of the world. She considers it a privilege to fellowship with other women in their pursuit of God and desire to grow daily in Him through the PWC platform.
Ayo is happily married to Music Minister Mairo Ese and they both serve at This Present House.
