I'm sharing a message I recently shared at my home church of REVIVE Church of Tampa around what it really takes to effectively invite someone to Come and See what Jesus and His Kingdom. Whether, for you, that means inviting someone to a church service or simply into a conversation about what Jesus has done for you, it's generally going to take more than just one "touch." As I've studied the story of Jesus inviting the Samarian woman at the well to Come and See, I've noticed seven distinct steps to an effective invitation.

It's time to press back on the disappointment that has come from asking someone to visit your church, only to hear "No" repeatedly. It's time to let go of the false expectation that the direct invite is the only step in truly encouraging someone to Come and See.
