In an era of #metoo #inclusivity and #diversity the notion of beauty within and without is changing .. yet the beauty pageant world is alive and well with more than 4 million followers on the miss universe Instagram. It’s interesting to explore the powerful platform it is advocating to support female empowerment and development in 2022 with the Dawn of a new era.
Who better to give us an insight than one of the recent, Winners of the Victorian Miss Universe pageant Darcy Spinks who is competing for the title of Miss Universe Australia 2022.
She grew up on a cattle and sheep farm and left to Melbourne at the age of 18 to continue a coveted modelling career that began at the age of 8 years old. She launched my first business at the age of 23 that is a digital marketing and events agency called “two evolve” and I am soon to be launching her new business in September this year focusing on ethically sourced clothing label called Ambition. It’s all about self love and empowerment, aiming to help both men and women to feel happy and confident in their own skin.
