One of the most inspiring, energetic creative people I’ve known, Jane Badler Hains, a beautiful talented New Yorker arrived in Melbourne in the 80s as an actor who is best known for her role as Diana in the cult NBC miniseries V.
She’s worked with many including actors Alec Baldwin and Val Kilmer and featured on talk shows from Johnny Carson to David Letterman.
Arriving in Australia to play a major role in the reboot of the Mission: Impossible TV series, Jane stayed.
Producer, singer, actor and mother she fell in love and married Aussie Stephen Hains, of the established racing Hains family, and as they say, the rest is history.
Janes story is one of great passion and great pain.
Always articulate, creative and open about the challenges of mental health and addiction, sadly Jane tragically lost her beautiful son Harry Hains, 27 through an accidental overdose in January this year.
Jane is open about how she has coped, her grief, the loss and the addiction epidemic destroying so many young lives.
