Rosie Motene is driven by three core passions: womxn, Africa, and the arts. As a Pan-African queer feminist, writer, activist, speaker, and media proprietor, she draws on over 30 years of experience in media and more than two decades in feminist and LGBTQI+ activism. Rosie is also a certified counsellor and life coach, currently completing postgraduate studies in Drama Therapy and Psychology.
Her podcast, #SpeakingThroughMyWorld, explores urgent and underrepresented issues across gender-based violence, queer rights, the arts, and the African experience. It offers bold, intersectional conversations rooted in advocacy, healing, and creative resistance.

Seoketsi Mooketsi
Seoketsi Mooketsi is a Black radical transgender WomXn, activist, speaker, and trainer.
She is the founder and director of an organisation named Rural Inclusive Trans Equality – RITE in a Rural town named Schweizer Reneke that unapologetically advocates for LGB diverse and Trans folks in Rural areas in the North West Province.
She coordinates Bokone Bophirima Trans and Queer Forum, a forum that has a support group every trimester and in the process of establishing the Trans Collective within the Wits University.
She trains members from various universities in SA, UCT, WITS, NWU Mafikeng and UFS etc community to become part of a programme of ‘allies’ who are supportive of LGBTIAQ+ people (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex, Asexual, Queer and other sexual orientations and gender identities).
She is a member of Black WomXn caucus and works extremely closely with Prof Mzi Nduna at the Wits Psychology Department.
Seoketsi is deeply passionate about affecting social particularly within the Wits Gender Diverse Student Community, to assist them re-imagine a free, equal and just society that does not subscribe or normalize Violence but Peace and Freedom.
