Death is not the greatest loss in life; the greatest loss is what dies inside of us while we live. Defeat, doubt, disappointment, disillusionment, grief, fear—the disciples were "dead" inside after Jesus died. In the same way Jesus appeared first to Mary Magdalene, one of the three Marys who sought to remain close to Christ after He died, Jesus will show up in the midst of your emotional death and resurrect you.
