December has the longest and darkest nights of the year—to remind ourselves to behold Jesus, “the light of the world” (John 8:12). Because of Jesus, there are treasures found in darkness.
The message of God to us every Christmas is: “Don’t be afraid … I will be the light in your darkness!"
