Did you know that the new heaven and new earth does not refer to a completely new universe? It is the same current heaven and earth—purified and renewed, with no more sin and wickedness. So what we do here on earth in this lifetime has important bearings on our eternal life. All of this present life is a preparation for our future ministry in glory.
