Dr. Minton-Ryan is a Professor of Sociology at Cal Baptist University. Her current research is on the impact of trauma-informed educational support groups for young women in the central region of Malawi. Among all her travels, Malawi, one of the poorest countries in the world, has become her main focus in providing access to education and much needed resources to the often times forgotten trauma victims.
