Ten Questions To Review Your Quarter And Level Up Your Next
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Your next level doesn’t start with a new planner or a louder hustle. It starts with a brutally honest look at what you’ve actually done, what you’ve avoided, and what your habits are quietly proving about your priorities.
We’re sharing 10 powerful end-of-quarter questions designed for creatives, freelancers, and entrepreneurs who know their vision is bigger than the rooms they’ve been standing in. We talk about what “movement” really means when rest is the work, how mindset programming can keep you stuck in the same loops, and why playing small can look deceptively sensible. We also dig into money mindset and wealth habits, including the uncomfortable truth that your financial reality often reflects your thinking, your boundaries, and your willingness to expand.
From there, we tighten the focus on execution: what you shipped, not what you planned, posted, or spoke about. We explore the creative trap of collecting ideas without finishing them, how to collaborate if you’re an idea generator, and how to “play the whole tape through” so your work actually lands. We close with lifestyle alignment, choosing growth over comfort, and a simple way to define the version of you required for the next quarter by activating just two consistent actions until they become a rhythm.
If you want deeper support around creativity, entrepreneurship, business, life, and money, join the wait list for Spotlight: The Inner Room. Subscribe, share this with a friend who needs a reset, and leave a review with the question that challenged you most.
I would be so grateful if you could leave a 5 star review so this episode can make an impact in the lives of others just like you.

SPEAKER_00You're listening to the Create and Elevate podcast, a space for the creative who knows their vision is bigger than the rooms they've been standing in. I'm Danielle Rhimes LeCoint, award-winning choreographer, creative director, cultural leader, and just call me the mother of the fearless generation. This is a space where we build creative currency. We lead with emotional intelligence. And we stop asking for the permission to be powerful. I'm here to dish out the goods on leadership, creativity, identity, and what it takes to build a life by design. So you can stop being palatable and start being potent. It's time to create and elevate. Okay, guys, what I want to give you today is 10 powerful questions that you can ask yourself as you have closed out the first quarter of the year. And you want to take these questions and process them in a really truthful, honest, you know, deep finding way so that you can move into your next phase at a higher level. And really and truly, you can use these questions as you close out any quarter or any kind of phase, really, um, in your growth journey and as you self-develop. And so if you have got a pen and paper, if you're able to write these down, please do. Um, equally, if you're on the move and you're one of those people like me who are listening to podcasts while you're traveling or on the move, you can come back to this later. Um, that's the great thing about podcasts. You can also re-listen to them. But I really do recommend that you allocate some time to dive into these questions. We're going to cover a multitude of areas now. You will know the work that I do and that I'm passionate about covers mindset, money, entrepreneurship, creativity, and life in general, right? Those are the aspects in which we move from. Um and I have a method actually inside my membership area where we do the deep diving in those areas. So if you haven't signed up to the joint or join the wait list yet, I would really encourage you to head over to the show notes. You know, this is going to be such a powerful space for creative mindsets like yours to develop in entrepreneurship on in life, in money, in business, you know, and it you take from it what feels good, you leave the you take the meat and leave the bones. You may have heard me say that before, but you take the meat and leave the bones, and you've got to take what is good for you. But the great thing about getting into the spotlight in a room is that you will um or getting onto the wait list to get into the room, you will get access to a low price point forever that will lock you in to the membership, and it's starting at 11 pounds a month. And I'm telling you, the content inside is delightful. And I know you might say, You're being biased, Danielle. Honey, I got you. You know, everything I learn from my coaches, even, and I work with you know, million million dollar earning coaches, you know, I work with people who are serious about their growth, and I have worked with so many clients and helped them transform. So if you're looking for powerful transformation, if you're looking to be able to direct your life in a really powerful way, the interim spotlight the interim is going to be the place for you. So get on the wait list so you get access. It's going live on the 10th of April, and it's the first 10 people who get in will get that, will lock in that 11 pounds a month, then it will go up. Um, so get on there, anyway. I want to give you these questions so that you can take them away and get growing. So these are 10 powerful questions to ask yourself at the end of the quarter one, um, or you can place them at the end of any quarter if you are listening to this at a later date. So, question one Did I move or did I think about moving? I want you to be really honest with that, right? Did you move forward when you think about how you ended out 2025 or your previous year? Did you move forward from where you are? Now, some people, if you are like me, who took the beginning of 2026 really, really slowly, I want you to not be trying to answer this from a matter of productivity and output as such, right? Productivity isn't always in the physical things that we do, or even the the the you know, where you're you may be pushing the needle forward on your business, or sometimes the the the move is changing your mindset about rest. For me, at the beginning of the year, it was all about resting, all about resting, and that was partly because I came out of a massive project at the beginning of January, and so I've taken the first quarter to actually get more still to get more into what it is that I need for my body, for my mind, in order to be able to serve at the next high level that I want to be serving at, right? So, what was the the first quarter of the year for you when it cut when it comes to moving? What did movement look like? Right, is something that you could be asking yourself within this. So I want you to be really honest about that. Question two, and this is us diving into a little bit of mindset, right? Where did I outgrow my old thinking and where am I still playing small, right? We want to be growers, so where have you outgrown or where did you outgrow your old thinking? If you are not somebody who has done um the deep work, which we cover inside of my my memberships and programs, if you haven't done the deep work to know what your thinking patterns are, you are going to be in a loop, or you are going to be accessing or moving from the same place. Mindset is programming, and in order for us to make change, in order for us to expand, in order for us to move, to make decisions, we want or decisions that um actually help us and move us towards the level of success that we say that we want. We have to be doing that inner work because you make decisions all all the time, even if the decision is to be still and do nothing, that is still a decision you're making, and so it is for us to be um outgrowing our programming that is keeping us in places that we don't want to be. So it doesn't matter where it is that you say that you're going in that, it is about us continuously moving forward, and it's not about comparing or where other people are at, this is all down to you. So, where did you outgrow your old thinking? And where are you playing small, right? Because we want to be expansive, everything in nature is about growth. When you go out and you take a walk in nature, and if you don't, I really recommend it. But if you look at nature, you look at plants, you look at life forms, everything is about growth, everything is about expansion, right? And we are no different, we are God's highest form of creation, so therefore, we are called to expand, we are called to expand uh create, we are called to grow, right? So it's not about playing small, it is about us expanding, growing, and thinking bigger. Uh, question three, which covers money, okay. Did my habits reflect the level of wealth I say I want, or am I still thinking small with big desires, right? So there's a thought process into that. You can't get you can't really do money work without uh looking at your mindset, and again, if you get into my membership, you actually get access to my money mindset course. It is all inside, you get access to it. So if money is something that you've been thinking about, you've been thinking about how you've been thinking about money, your journey, your money story, your money blueprint, you want to be inside there so you can get access to it. But today we're looking at your habits. Are your habits reflecting the level of wealth that you say that you want? And if you if this feels like confusing, or if this feels like I just I don't know and I don't know what this is, think about where you want your wealth to be. Think about there's a really powerful quote from Steve Stephen Siebold, who is uh who wrote How Rich People Think, one of my favorite um um books. Oh sorry, Secrets of the Millionaire Mind, one of my favorite books. Um, and he talks about um when you look at the state of your bank account, you can understand the state of your thinking. When you look like your bank account will will represent your level of thinking. And now I don't want you to ever think, right, and when we say bank account, let's let's let's let's let's abbreviate, let's look at the whole picture here. We're talking about bank accounts, savings accounts, um, investment accounts, um, anything in that remit that's holding what we would suggest as being wealth. When you look at the state of any of those things, if that does not feel like where you want it to be, or if it doesn't feel like it's growing, because all like everybody wants more money, right? And if you don't, you're in the wrong place, love, right? Everybody wants more money. We are all growing in our wealth journey. We all want to be expansive and we want to have money that we can use, play with, and be effective out in the world. So when we look at that, when we look at those things, if it isn't growing, if we can't see an expansion there, then we want to be evaluating the way that we are thinking, and we want to be evaluating our habits. So, are your habits reflective of the level of wealth that you say that you want, even if you are not there yet, or are you still playing small with big desires? If your desire is to get to 10k moms, if your desire is to get to 20k moms, there are habits that go along with that, there are thinking patterns that go along with that. If your desire is to take some money and invest it into a business and get a business started, there is a mindset that goes along with that, and it isn't about instant, it is about progressive growth, steady progressive growth. So, question four, which covers entrepreneurship. What did I actually execute? Now let's talk about the execution. What did I actually execute? Not just plan, post, or talk about. So, whatever your entrepreneurship uh journey looks like, whether you've got a business, you know, you have a small business, or whether you are your business, whether you are freelance, right? In that that process of entrepreneur entrepreneurship, what did you actually execute? Not just plan, right? Because some people are really good at planning. I'm gonna write all these things down and I'm gonna put them all down, and it's a nice, it's a nice plan. But did you take any steps? Or some people are good at posting, I'm posting this thing, I'm gonna put this up, I'm gonna, you know, you know, talk about and get hype about it. But did you actually take a step? Some people are good at talking. I'm gonna talk about this, I'm gonna talk to this person about it, I'm gonna talk to this person about it. But did you actually do anything about it? Another amazing quote that was uh one from I believe Steve Steve Bartlett, which was you we need to shrink the gap between the idea and the execution. So many people are sitting in the idea for way too long, going over and over and over again about the idea, talking about it, thinking about it, think and the thing is, right, your mind is wired to protect you when you ruminate on something for too long, it will look for unconscious bias as to why this is not a good idea, because you have developed a level of uh complacency and comfort and safety and where you're at, and your mind is like, we don't need to move from here, we're already we're good, we're safe. Why why would we want to move, right? And as you ruminate over that, you are going to see things in your life that confirm your safety as opposed to you actually going out there and executing. So, food for thought on that one. Question five: this is to do with your creativity, which we are very passionate about. Did I honour my ideas or abandon them halfway through? This is a big question to be asking because a lot of creatives will sit in this space of having thousand ideas, right? And because we are maybe pioneers, because we are creatives and artists in that kind of way, there's a lot of things that don't actually get finished, right? If this is resonating with you, I'm putting my hand up too, right? Raise your hand because sometimes we are so excited about the idea, we're so excited about the new shiny object that we actually do not finish the thing that we have or the thing that we said that we want, and this is a really, really important one, and it's something that I coach on again inside the membership when where I'm gonna be doing live coaching, guys. I'm gonna be doing live coaching, but there is something really interesting about that, right? Because we want to be understanding where do we sit in the process of ideas? Are you the pioneer? Are you the ideas generator? And if you are the ideas generator, then you may need to collaborate with a finisher, with somebody who is still creative, but they are wired to finish things so that you can balance each other out. And this might be resonating with you, you might be with around people who are like that, and it's leaning into their gifts. Listen, I wasn't always a finisher, I wasn't always somebody who would get to the end of projects. I wanted to move on, I got I would get bored. I've had trained myself to get to the finish line, and sometimes it's having ideas and knowing that actually this idea is something that's really, really great, but it isn't actually something that I can do or something that's for me. And sometimes I'll give ideas away if I know that that that's not sitting with me, but I'm looking for the ideas that that I've been placed into my heart that I know I can fulfill, I can bring that into fruition, I can bring that to the end of the of its journey, right? And I will play the whole tape through. And when I say that, I'm gonna run that tape all the way to the end so that we get it finished, right? Because that's what we want. Let's move to question six. Does my current lifestyle, and this is covering life now, does my current lifestyle support the person I'm becoming? This is my whole ethos. Where are you? What are you doing in your life that is supporting the person you are becoming? Because in that becoming, you show up so differently when you are moving from the becoming. Because it isn't that we're not content with who we are, it isn't that we we we're not content with what we're what we've do what we're doing and how far we've come. We want to celebrate those things, we want to lean into those things. That is important to be sitting in that, but also to balance that or hold intention, is what I'd like to call it. It's almost like two things equally pulling at each other, hold them in tension, right? That I am becoming, I am moving forward from this spot, I am moving forward from where I am, I am constantly expanding, I'm constantly moving or or um widening, right? So I want to be becoming, I want to be moving forward as well as being able to enjoy the journey. So does your current lifestyle support the person you're becoming? Question seven. Where are you choosing comfort over growth? Where are you choosing the the late night late nights, the um lions, you know, over getting up and going to the gym? Where are you choosing um this way of working your business as opposed to the growth, right? Knowing that if you um let go of uh working with those types of people, let's put it out there, if we let go of working with clients who don't get it or that are not paying you what you want to be earning, if you let go of complaining and being the victim about your situation, right? So those types of things they are centered in comfort, they are centered in familiarity. We're so familiar with those types of things that we leave them there, we allow that to be the thing that we're moving from, and that is a comfortable place. It might sound it might sound harsh, but that's a comfortable place. We want to choose growth. So I want you to get specific about where you're choosing comfort over growth. Question eight: what did I avoid that I know would have changed everything, similarly to the first one? If you are avoiding things and you may be might be avoiding them out of fear, and that is listen, it is okay to be afraid, but it is not okay when the fear paralyzes you. That is not okay, right? And we want to question why that's happening because the reality is that you want to move full forward, you're desiring to do something, and there are things that you know that you need to do, you need to get up and move and get into and reach out and send the email and talk to the person, and you know that that's gonna move the needle forward in your life, in your business, in your mindset. Question nine: if I repeated quarter one exactly as it was, what would I be? Would I be proud by the end of the year? So if you repeated these last three months exactly how they were, would you be proud by the end of the year? And this isn't shaming, this isn't guilt tripping, this is us recognizing where we could move or what we could do differently in order to be proud of ourselves by the end of the year. And it might just be that this year is about you getting your body into shape and it's progressively taking a walk or um you know going to the gym, lifting weights, doing resistance training. It might be about you reaching out to clients this year and actually letting them know that you have a brand, right? So it's it doesn't have to be difficult and it doesn't have to be huge, it just gets to be progressive. Question 10 What version of me is required for quarter two? And am I ready to be her? What version of you? So to write a list, write a list of the version, write a list of the the characteristics, write a list of the the things you want to do daily or that what needs to happen weekly, write a list down so that you can actually see it, and then your goal, let's say you write 10 things on that list. Your goal in this next quarter is to even just take two of those things. You can take two of those things and start to activate that. And here's what's gonna happen as you take those two things and you begin to activate them with consistency, just those two, until they feel like they're a rhythm that's just going on like a heartbeat, you are naturally going to step into the other areas. There is gonna be a natural transition into those other things on the list, and this is why it isn't about us trying to get loads of things done all the time. We want to understand what the things are, but usually the moment that you lean into one area of your growth, it leaks out, it's going to spread, and it's one of the reasons why when I work with clients, I'm looking for what is the indoor for some people. The doorway in is money mindset. You've got to change the way you think about money, that then changes your worth, your self-worth, it changes how you value yourself, therefore, it changes what you price. You know, how you price your services, it changes how you show up in the room and speak to people. That might um open up a whole new category of services that you provide. It will change the way that you are at home and your relationships, you know, with your partners, with your kids. It begins to spread out and overflow, and so it isn't about us always trying to do all the areas at once or trying to do 10 things within the areas. Most of these questions I've given you is one question per area. Simple, right? One question per area. Life we had a little bit more because life is a big topic, but it's one question, and that is going to leak into other areas. So I want you to take this time, get still, you know, actually answer these questions. You're worthy of taking the time. That's an investment. Your time is like money, it's an invested um energy, right? So I want you to take that space, answer those questions, dive deep in and get clear. And as always, you can reach out to me, like, share with your share your takeaways, share what's happening. Um, and if this um podcast episode has been helpful for you, please share this with somebody who might benefit from it, right? Because somebody might not know that this is here, but you do, so please do share it. And like I said, the joy join the wait list for Spotlight the Inner Room. We are opening the doors on Friday the 10th, and I'm gonna be coaching live inside of the membership every single month so you can get your questions answered. We're gonna do hot seat coaching, you know, and not only that, there are so many tools inside that cover creativity, life, entrepreneurship, business, and money. So I want to go on that journey with you. I want to support you as you grow. You are worthy and you are ready for your next level. I'll see you on the next episode.
