Payments by volume have soared, both in domestic markets and cross-border markets but, at the same time, banks margins have come under increasing pressure. Banks simply aren’t making the money out of the payments business that they used to make out of it. How do we create a system of payments that is fair, equitable, secure, and that makes sense for banks as well as their customers?
