Dekalb County encompasses Atlanta, Decatur, Stone Mountain, and several other municipalities servicing over 700,00 people. The Stanford University and Howard University College of Medicine graduate discusses the Corona virus vaccine and its use to end the year long pandemic. Dr. Ford also shares her broad experience in public health to show how disparities can be widened when unforeseen disasters occur and we discuss ways to curb these inequities in the future.
